“Ah, you found them, where?” Cinder asked me, seeming rather excited at the prospect of taking them out, and I smiled at that.

“Actually in my opinion, he was probably responsible for that disgraceful display outside tonight. He’s here, in Romania, not 100 miles from where we are right now.” They all looked at me, then I heard a lot of low growls and saw eyes flash dragon. 

“Okay, so before we all go flying out in a homicidal rage, how about we get the kids out of the safe room, and then we get them all settled and back in bed where they should be. After that, we can discuss paying this fucking bastard a visit.” Drago said and we all nodded. 

He opened up the safe room again, and we helped get the kids settled back in their rooms with a billion questions. We promised we would explain things tomorrow, and yes everything was taken care of and they were completely safe. 

It took a couple of hours before everyone was sufficiently settled that the guys turned to me for more information, “I found a receipt for a car rental, and then I found plane tickets, and a reservation at his hotel. He’s in Hopsherbin, and he bought 2 plane tickets, so my hope is that Christofer is with him.” 

“Okay, don’t shoot me okay, but how about we take a security detail, and we go and get him, then we bring him, and anyone with him, back here. Then you can be here with the kids in case anything else pops up, and you can help deal with all of this once he is here and we have him put somewhere safe and secure. Do you guys have a dungeon or anything?” David looked at the guys. 

I thought about it and decided that it wasn’t worth fighting about this. They weren’t trying to keep me out of it, they were just trying to bring it to me, so that way I could protect my kids until they brought me my present. 

“We have detainment cells under the castle. I don’t think it has the aesthetic you are looking for, but it will do.” David nodded.

“Okay, well if you guys are going to go and bring me back a present, then you need to get going.” They all chuckled at me, and I grinned back. 

One by one the guys all came up to me, cupped my face, and leaned down to give me a soft kiss. It wasn’t anything passionate, it was just that soft connection, they are making promises to bring him to me kind of a kiss. Then David hugged me. Then I went back to my station in front of my computer so I could keep researching stuff, and Constantine and I watched all of the cameras and alert monitors.

Finally, we get to give Ria a bit of all the justice she has been denied. She’ll get to confront that bastard and then know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is dead and he can’t hurt her anymore. When she told us it had been Braun who killed her family all of those years ago, I was blindsided. I never would have imagined that in a million years, but after all of the things she’s told us, I probably should have. 

I am very much in agreement that we need to get out of here. This whole thing with the castle, the town, and everyone in it has become a huge obstacle to us actually having a life with our mate, and this time, my brothers and I are choosing our mate above anyone or anything else. So, when this is done, we’ll figure out where she wants to go and the logistics of relocating a bunch of dragons to somewhere else. 

We took the car 88 miles to the little town and the hotel where he was holed up. I was hoping that his brother would be with him. He was probably waiting for word from those mercenaries no doubt, and he would be waiting forever on that one. Well, he wouldn’t have to worry about that anyway, he’d be joining them soon enough. My dragon and I were purring at that idea. 

We were able to get to the front desk to let us know where our good friend Braun was staying so we could go visit him, and without a lot of preamble, we were told exactly where that son of a bitch was. So, we all calmly walked up to the room.

We decided to just play this cool, so as soon as we got there Drago knocked on the door as if this was just any other friendly visit. From inside came, “About god damn time that you showed up to give me a report.”

With that, he opened the door, and he saw us there, and he tried to shut the door in our face. He was no match for 5 very pissed-off dragons, and we barged into the room very quickly. Just then from out of the bathroom rushed another man in just his underwear, and I had seen this one’s face as we hunted him down on a supposed job. So, we knew this was Christofer his brother.

“Well, well, look at that, we have a two-for-one special tonight,” David said calmly with a bit of insanity woven in. 

We all smiled at that, they tried to fight, but they were so not any type of match for us. Some dark Fae have magic, they do not. It seemed the things they did were more along the lines of what Ria had told us about, they liked to experiment and shit like that. 

So, in a relatively short time span, we had secured Braun and Christofer Zavatnik and got them bound, gagged, and in the back of our car. We contacted the rental desk at the airport and requested a pickup of the car. They were confused about why he wasn’t driving it to them, but we said he’d had a medical emergency, so that soothed things over. 

Now, we’re on our way home to our beautiful woman with 2 presents all wrapped up nicely for her. Then we’ll see what we decide to do with them next.
