Dahlia’s POV

“Relax, doll. There’s no rush in stepping into the role officially,” Logan teased, his voice rich with amusement. “We just want the pack to get to know you. Otherwise, they'll lose their minds when they keep catching us with our hands all over you.” The playful tone softened my nerves, and I let out a breath I hadn’t realized I was holding.

A little while later, we were on our way to the common room to share the news with the pack. Logan and Liam had gone casual—faded jeans and snug-fitting tees that clung sinfully to every sculpted inch of them. They looked devastatingly good, and it took everything in me not to drag them back upstairs for a repeat performance.

They’d told me it was just a casual gathering, but I still chose a sleek black halter dress. The high neckline and modest hemline helped hide the constellation of marks my mates had left across my skin. I slipped on strappy heels and added a pair of silver earrings for a touch of sparkle. I wasn’t about to show up looking like an afterthought. This was my first appearance as Luna—and I needed the pack to see that I took it seriously.

“You’re buzzing with nervous energy, Angel,” Liam said, glancing at my restless hands as we descended the stairs. “Should we take you back up and tire you out again?”

I arched a brow at him in silent invitation, but he only chuckled, tugging me along. Every step reminded me of what they’d done to me earlier, and I did my best to walk normally despite the soreness between my thighs. The last thing I needed was one of them deciding I couldn’t manage the stairs and carrying me down like some damsel.

The chatter in the room dimmed as we reached the bottom step. The twins’ parents moved to stand beside us, their silent presence radiating support. The common room and foyer were filled wall to wall with wolves, shoulder to shoulder. Even with the crowd pressing in, I could tell this was only a portion of the pack.

Logan leaned down, his breath warm against my ear. “There are extra viewing areas outside—screens are set up for those who didn’t get here early or prefer fresh air. Bastian took care of it earlier. And don’t worry, word spreads faster than wildfire in a pack. Even the ones who couldn’t make it will know by sundown.”

I nodded, but the nerves were building again.

“Thank you all for coming tonight!” Liam’s voice rang out, smooth and commanding. “My brother and I have some exciting news to share.”

As he spoke, my eyes drifted across the room. The silence was thick with expectation, the weight of a hundred gazes pressing in. My skin flushed under the intensity of it—until something colder, sharper, slid over me.

I felt her before I saw her.

There, at the very back of the room, stood Rowena. Arms crossed, eyes blazing with venom, she looked like she’d rather rip me apart than hear what was coming next. I quickly tore my gaze away. She didn’t get to ruin this for me.

“After five long years,” Logan continued, stepping forward, “the Moon Goddess has finally blessed us with our mate—your future Luna.”

Both brothers reached for me at once, their hands warm and grounding as they pulled me between them. I looked up and saw nothing but pride in their eyes, affection that wrapped around me like a second skin. Then they turned back to the crowd, voices rising in perfect unison.

“Blood Moon Pack, please welcome your Luna—Dahlia Sterling!”

For one still second, there was silence.

Then the room exploded. Cheers and howls and congratulations surged toward us in a crashing wave. My heart stuttered at the sheer joy rolling off them—it was more than acceptance, it was celebration.

I leaned in toward Logan. “Can I say something?”

He nodded and stepped forward, raising a hand to quiet the crowd.

“Alright, alright! Settle down for a minute,” he called. “Your Luna has a few words she’d like to share. Then we’ll head outside for the pack dinner. You’ll have time to meet her properly.”

All eyes shifted to me. I took a deep breath and lifted my chin.

“Thank you all for such an incredible welcome.” A few more cheers rang out, and I paused for them to quiet. “Some of you may know I’ve been staying here at Blood Moon for a few weeks now. Even before knowing who I was to your Alphas, you’ve treated me with warmth and kindness. It’s been an honor to meet many of you, and I look forward to meeting even more.”

I glanced around the room, meeting eyes, finding strength in the sea of faces.

“In this short time, I’ve seen what makes this pack special—your loyalty, your strength, the way you stand by each other. I hope I can be worthy of that. I promise to give everything I have to this pack, to our family.”

Logan and Liam pulled me into a warm embrace. The pack howled again, louder this time, and my cheeks went scarlet as each of my mates pressed a possessive kiss to my lips with the entire pack watching.

I was about to drown in embarrassment when a small hand tugged at my wrist. Luna Lilith, ever the savior, pulled me away from her sons before things escalated any further.

“That was lovely, dear,” she said, smiling. “You’re a natural Luna. Our boys are lucky.”

I hugged her without hesitation. “Your support means everything to me.”

“You’ll always have it, sweet girl. And Caden and Caleb’s too,” she assured me with a warm smile. “Now let’s go feed you. I doubt you’ve had anything but… appetite since last night.”

Heat flared in my cheeks again, but I didn’t protest.

The evening air was unusually warm for fall, a perfect setting for the gathering outside. The scent of grilled meats and fresh bread filled the air, and as always, Naia and her kitchen team outdid themselves. She even came over to personally congratulate us, her joy as infectious as the twins’ parents’.

My mates didn’t leave my side once, their hands finding mine every chance they got. Every pack member we met received a warm smile—and more than a few got growled at when they lingered too long near me.

At one point, things got… dangerous.

Their touches grew bolder, their eyes darker. I tried to pull away before my arousal betrayed me.

“Where do you think you’re going, baby girl?” Logan growled, tugging me back into the heat of their bodies.

“Before the entire pack smells what you’re doing to me,” I hissed under my breath.

Their laughter only made my cheeks burn hotter.

“Angel,” Liam said in a mock-serious voice, “you do remember we’re wolves, right? No one here would be surprised. If anything, they’d take it as a good sign.”

They nuzzled into my neck, inhaling deeply, letting their wolves soothe them through my scent. For all their teasing, they didn’t push further. Not in public, anyway.

But I knew the moment we were alone again... they would make good on every unsaid promise.
