My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate Chapter 346

Logan’s POV

The atmosphere was heavy as we made our way back to our room after meeting with Keziah.

To be honest, I was still struggling to fully comprehend everything we’d just learned. I didn’t think any of us had truly processed it yet.

At first, her suggestion to simply continue life as though nothing had changed felt absurd. How could we carry on, knowing something out there was threatening everything we held dear—our home, our future, our mate?

The thought alone made my blood boil. It made me want to hunt down that monster and rip it apart before it even got close to her.

As long as I had breath in my lungs, not a single soul would lay a hand on her.

"Hey."

Lia’s soft voice cut into my spiraling thoughts.

"What’s going on in that head of yours? You're giving me whiplash with all the emotions you’re throwing out."

I exhaled, forcing a calm I didn’t feel. "I’m sorry, love. I’m just... trying to make sense of it all. It seems insane to act like everything's fine, but the more I think about it, the more it actually seems like the right thing to do."

"I get it," she murmured, wrapping her arms around my waist and nestling into me.

"As much as I hate what's happening, I have to believe it’s all part of something bigger. We don’t have much of a choice. We have to trust that the Moon Goddess has a plan."

"I think you're right," Liam chimed in, brushing a loose curl from her face and caressing her cheek with a reverent touch.

"We should have faith in her plan. After all, she gifted us with the perfect mate."

"She wouldn’t give us you only to snatch you away so soon," I added quietly.

"No matter how much time we’re granted, I want every single moment of it to be filled with joy—yours, especially. I want to give back everything you’ve given me just by being here."

I looked over at Liam. "I know he feels the same way."

"I absolutely do," he confirmed, his eyes soft as he looked at her like she was the center of his universe.

We stopped walking, cocooned in our shared little world.

Still, beneath the comfort of that moment, I couldn’t shake the weight Lia carried.

She tried not to show it, but through our bond, it was undeniable—crushing. She bore more than anyone should have to, and it broke me not to be able to lift it from her shoulders.

"Well, for now, we’ve got the mating and Luna ceremony to look forward to," I said, trying to inject some brightness into the moment.

"By this weekend, you’ll officially be ours, marked and bound."

The thought alone made me want to throw back my head and howl with triumph.

She was everything.

Without her, nothing else mattered. And if the worst came, I’d gladly burn the world before I let it take her from me.

As we neared the pack house, I linked Liam, asking for a bit of time alone with our mate.

Before I could fully celebrate what was coming, we needed to talk about Rowena—about what had happened. I had to be sure Lia truly believed us, that she was okay. Her heat had flared so suddenly we hadn’t had a moment to talk through it all, and I refused to let that ugly incident fester between us.

Before Lia, women were nothing more than fleeting distractions—temporary pleasures. But with her, I wanted everything. Heart. Soul. All of it.

As we reached the top of the stairs, I took her hand and gently tugged her into my room.

Her eyes widened as they swept over the space, lingering on the brand-new furniture.

Even though I had no memory of what Rowena did—being unconscious at the time—I couldn’t stomach the thought of sleeping in a bed she had touched, let alone been naked in.

Lia would feel the same, I knew it. And I’d never expect her to accept that.

Honestly, a part of me loved how possessive she was, though I’d never admit it out loud.

"I’m going to call Oberon, make the invitation official," Liam said as he moved to the door.

He pulled Lia into a strong embrace, kissed her gently, then disappeared, leaving us alone.

"What happened to your old furniture?" Lia asked, still standing frozen in the doorway like she wasn’t sure she wanted to step inside.

"I destroyed it," I confessed, glancing up at her sheepishly.

"After I got out of the hospital, I came here to rest. But the second I stepped through that door, all I could think about was how hurt you must’ve been... what you must’ve seen. My wolf and I were furious. We couldn’t bear to be surrounded by it anymore, so I ripped it all apart. This room wasn’t even livable until a few days ago. I’d been sleeping in your room anyway... your scent was stronger there."

She gave a small nod, her expression thoughtful.

I led her to the bed and sat down beside her, turning so I could face her directly.

"Can we talk?" I asked, my voice quieter now. My palms were sweating.

She was the one thing in this world I was terrified of losing, the only person who could strip me of my Alpha armor and leave me feeling like nothing more than a desperate boy.

"Sure," she replied warily. "What did you want to talk about?"

"We haven’t really had a chance to talk about what happened... just the two of us, I mean. I want to be sure we’re okay." My voice was soft, almost fragile.

She reached out and cupped my face, her fingers brushing over my jaw with a tenderness that made my throat ache.

"Then tell me," she said gently. "Tell me everything you remember. I want to hear it from you—without anyone else's influence. Not under command. Just you."

There was no accusation in her eyes, no bitterness in her tone. Just an honest plea to understand—and it meant everything to me.

So I told her.

Every grisly detail I could remember. From the moment I realized Rowena was in my room, to the gut-wrenching instant I woke up and she was gone. I laid it all bare—every crack, every moment of anguish, every second of helplessness.

Our tears flowed together, emotions surging through our bond. Even though he wasn’t here, I knew Liam felt it too.

"I’m so sorry, love," I whispered. "You deserve so much more than me. I didn’t deserve a mate, let alone someone like you—someone perfect for me.

It kills me to know that even for a moment, you thought I didn’t want you."

"It made sense at the time," she replied, lifting one shoulder in a small shrug.

"After that day in your... dungeon, something changed. It felt like you were holding something back, like a part of you was reserved for someone else.

I guess I wondered if I’d disappointed you somehow."

"You could never disappoint me, baby girl," I said firmly.

"You have no idea how much I hate myself for that day. I’d already screwed up so many times... I was terrified that one more mistake would be the end of us.

So I started holding back, trying to keep everything perfect—trying not to lose you."

With a sigh, she brought both hands to my face, forcing me to meet her gaze. I felt our wolves reach for each other as she pushed her emotions into me—raw love, total acceptance, and unwavering vulnerability.

"I want all of you, Logan. The past, the present, the future fuck-ups—every bit.

Just promise me you won’t hide any of it from me again."

Her words wrapped around me like a balm, yet guilt still gnawed at the edges of my mind.

"If I hadn’t been such an idiot in the past, Rowena wouldn’t have thought she had a chance. She wouldn’t have dared to act like that."

"That’s not on you," she snapped, steel beneath her soft voice.

"Rowena is the kind of person who takes what she wants—entitled and selfish. She wanted you, or maybe just the title of Luna, and she was willing to destroy lives to get it."

I pulled her into my lap, holding her tight as if I could shield her from the pain.

Once she relaxed, I lifted her chin and kissed her, soft and slow.

"Thank you," I whispered against her lips.

"For what?" she asked, barely breaking contact.

"For believing me. For seeing the best in me when I couldn’t... and for accepting every part of who I am."

I pulled back to look into her brilliant blue eyes.

"But more than anything, I need you to believe that I don’t want anyone else. Since the day I met you, it’s only ever been you. It always will be. You’re more than enough—for both of us."

"I know," she said simply.

And there wasn’t even a flicker of doubt in her gaze.

In that moment, everything shattered and reformed all at once.

We reached for each other like we had nothing left to lose and everything to gain.

Our kiss was desperate, consuming, and sacred.

And, because it was her—because it was always her—that kiss became something so much more.
