My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate Chapter 351
Dahlia’s POV
Alpha Caden, Caleb, and Luna Lilith stepped forward, ready to pass the title of Luna to me. Elder Peregrine presented the ceremonial bowl while the twins' fathers carried the jewel-encrusted knife—a magnificent blade etched with the symbol of silver wolves howling beneath a diamond-studded moon.
He made a shallow cut across his mate’s palm, gently guiding her hand so her blood dripped into the bowl. Then, he offered the blade to my mates.
Pain and regret flickered in Logan’s eyes, followed swiftly by Liam’s. Despite the ache it brought them, they took the knife together and moved toward me. I gave them both a small, reassuring smile—I would heal quickly, and this ritual had to be completed. Their touch was careful as they drew a shallow cut and let my blood mingle with their mother’s.
"I, Luna Lilith Ashford, with full confidence in your heart and strength to lead, hereby pass the title of Luna to you, Dahlia Ashford," Lilith declared, her voice clear and resolute.
Hearing my new name from her lips caught me off guard, but it felt right. It felt like home.
"I, Dahlia Ashford, willingly accept the title of Luna," I began, my voice strong even as I spoke in a single breath, afraid I'd falter if I paused. "I vow to serve the Blood Moon pack with my whole heart. I promise to protect our people as if they were my own kin, to defend their bodies and guard their minds. I swear to stand by the Blood Moon Alphas, to love and support them in triumph and in trial, until it is time to pass this honor on."
The moment the words left my mouth, a surge of authority rippled through me—power settling into my bones, into my soul. I saw the weight lift from Lilith’s shoulders as she leaned into her mate, her breath leaving her in a quiet exhale of peace.
Logan and Liam wrapped their arms around me once more, standing proudly at my side as we faced our pack.
"Elders of Blood Moon," Peregrine intoned as he stepped forward, "do you accept your new Luna? If so, offer your howl to the Moon Goddess."
The response was instantaneous—a symphony of howls echoing into the night sky, surrounding us in affirmation and unity. The sudden influx of voices in my head staggered me briefly, but I was prepared. I closed my mind to everyone but my mates, grounding myself in their strength.
As the last howl faded, Peregrine turned back to the gathered crowd. “It is now my honor to present the Blood Moon Alphas, Logan and Liam Ashford, and their Luna, the beautiful and fierce Dahlia Ashford.” A new wave of cheers erupted as he continued, “Celebrate well. Your leaders will join you shortly.”
I started to step away, but Liam caught my hand, tugging me back between them.
"You're not slipping out of that dress without us, little mate," he murmured, a low growl in his voice. "Only we get that privilege tonight."
“But… it’s the mating run,” I said, frowning slightly. “I’m supposed to get a head start, remember?” We'd gone over the ritual with the elders: five minutes to strip, shift, and run before my mates gave chase.
“That was before you showed up in that dress,” Logan growled behind me, his voice like gravel wrapped in heat. “Looking like a gift we’ve waited too long to unwrap.”
“There’s nowhere you can run that we won’t find you, little wolf,” Liam added with a wicked grin.
“We’ll see about that,” I teased, earning a pair of deep, rumbling growls in return.
Turning toward the forest, I couldn’t help but smirk. Knowing exactly what they were thinking—how much they wanted me—made every step feel like power. The way their eyes drank me in? It was delicious.
I reached the forest’s edge and ducked behind a tree, waiting. Watching. They appeared moments later, sauntering in with jackets gone and sleeves rolled up, their bodies tense with anticipation. Muscles flexed with every movement, and the sight alone made me ache for them.
“Come out, little wolf,” Liam called.
“You can’t hide from us,” Logan added darkly. “We can already smell how wet you are for us.”
I stepped from the shadows, hips swaying. “Not hiding. Just appreciating the view.”
“You’re playing with fire, angel,” Liam warned.
I trailed my hands down my body, licking my lips as I looked them over. “And you both seem ready to get burned.”
Before I could blink, their hands were on me—pulling me into them, mouths hot and open against the mate marks on my neck. Their claws grazed down my back, sharp enough to make me shiver, gentle enough to ignite my blood.
I whimpered at the pleasure, only to be left cold and wanting as they pulled away. Their smug expressions told me they knew exactly what they were doing.
“Patience, little one,” Liam said, voice teasing.
“We have all night,” Logan added, “and we plan to use every second.”
They moved in closer, each taking a strap of my dress and drawing it down slowly, deliberately letting the fabric drag across my breasts until it pooled at my feet. Growls rumbled deep in their chests.
“Fuck, baby,” Logan groaned. “You wore nothing underneath that dress?”
“Nothing,” I purred, “and I won’t be wearing anything under it when we return to the party later.”
The restraint in their eyes snapped.
But I wasn’t going to make it that easy for them.
Before they could touch me again, I spun and leapt forward, shifting mid-air. My wolf exploded from within, fur glistening silver beneath the moonlight. I'd trained for this—how to shift instantly, at will—and I used it now.
I could imagine the look on their faces as I vanished into the trees. I didn’t glance back. I didn’t need to. I knew they’d give chase. They always would.
They’d have to undress before shifting, and I needed every second of the lead.
The earth surged beneath my paws, wild and familiar. My wolf's joy danced through our shared soul—our mates’ marks now etched into us, our bond sealed. We flew over roots and stones, weaving between brambles and leaping over fallen logs, weightless with exhilaration.
Behind us, the sound of pursuing paws grew louder.
“Blue, what now?” I asked.
“Let them catch us,” she purred, her thoughts laced with images that made me blush.
“Tempting,” I murmured. “But they should work for it. We can't just roll over every time.”
“They like the chase,” she agreed. “Fine. Let’s hide.”
We found it moments later—a patch of thick bushes shielding a cluster of trees. We dropped low and crawled into the clearing, silent as shadows.
Blue lowered her head onto her paws, watching the woods with patient intensity.
And we waited.
