My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate Chapter 301

Dahlia’s POV

Thoughts of my mates had me flushed and restless. Glancing at the time on my phone, I realized it was nearly lunchtime. We’d planned to meet in the dining room, but hunger for food wasn’t exactly what had me stirred. I decided to find them a little early, hoping I might catch them before they left their office. If I did, maybe I could tempt them into heading upstairs—for something a bit more indulgent.

As I approached, something strange made me slow. Voices—muffled, low. Their office was soundproofed, so hearing even a whisper through the door was out of the ordinary. I edged closer and noticed a thin line of light peeking through the door’s crack. It wasn’t shut completely. Whatever had their attention, it was urgent enough to forget the door entirely.

I stepped back just enough to remain undetected but close enough to catch their words. It was shameless to eavesdrop—I knew that. But something in my gut twisted, urging me to listen. Their voices were strained, tinged with worry, and though I couldn’t be sure, a part of me just knew they were talking about me.

Pressing myself against the wall, I listened.

“She needs to start her training, Logan,” Liam said, firm and direct.

“No,” Logan snapped back without hesitation. “You heard her. She’s not ready—and we’re not going to force her. She hasn’t hurt anyone, and she won’t.”

Liam let out a long, exhausted breath. “Logan, I feel the same way. I hate this too.”

“Then we’re done talking about it. She starts when she’s ready. And not a moment before. Not without us.”

“But what if someone had been too close when that lightning hit the tree?” Liam pushed. “What if pups had been playing on the lawn when she stormed out two weeks ago, leaving thorny vines in her wake? What if one of them had been scratched—or worse?”

He didn’t stop there.

“No one got hurt by the flying debris when that freak windstorm hit the same day you decided to play with handcuffs—but what if someone had?”

Logan’s voice cracked then. “I can’t. I can’t leave her.”

I felt that—his pain, his fear. Whether it was through our bond or just my own panic rising, I couldn’t tell. What were they saying? Did I do those things? How? How could I have caused all that and not known? Was I really that oblivious?

“It’s not just about us anymore, Logan,” Liam said gently. “It’s not only about protecting the pack—it’s about her. Imagine how she’d feel if she hurt someone. She wouldn’t survive the guilt. And she’d never forgive us for standing by without helping her gain control.”

That was enough.

I couldn’t listen to another word.

Slamming the door open, I startled them both. They turned, genuinely shocked. They hadn’t sensed me at all.

“How could you keep this from me?” I demanded, fury trembling in my voice. I wanted to scream at them for hiding the truth—for keeping secrets. Secrets about me.

But the pain in their eyes softened my anger.

They thought they were protecting us, Blue offered from within.

I turned on her. “Did you know?” I snapped.

She hesitated, visibly uncomfortable. “Not exactly. I suspected something. I could feel surges of power when we were overwhelmed emotionally.”

I exhaled sharply. “Fantastic. Can’t even trust my own wolf to be straight with me.”

Sliding down the wall, I sank to the floor, overwhelmed. My body had barely touched the carpet before Liam scooped me into his arms.

“Angel, please… talk to us,” he whispered, carrying me to the sofa and sitting with me on his lap.

I didn’t resist. I didn’t have the strength to argue.

Logan peeked into the hallway before locking the door securely behind him. I raised a brow as he returned—too little, too late. He caught the look but didn’t respond, just wore a guilty expression as he sat beside us.

“So talk,” I said, nudging him to start.

He took my legs into his lap, rubbing slow circles against my calves—his usual tactic to ease my nerves. But I wasn’t going to let him derail me.

“How much did you hear?” Logan asked.

“Enough to know that I’m a ticking emotional time bomb and a potential threat to the pack,” I muttered, staring down at my hands.

His movements froze, and for a long second, neither of them said a word. I braced for their disappointment—but when I finally looked up, I was met with something entirely different.

They were smiling.

“What?” I asked, confused and a little annoyed. “I don’t see why the possibility of your mate committing involuntary murder is cause for celebration.”

Logan snorted. Actually snorted.

“You said ‘our pack,’” Liam beamed, like I’d just given him the world. “That’s the first time you said that.”

I looked between them like they’d lost their minds. “You announced to the entire pack that I was your future Luna. Of course I see them as our pack. I wouldn’t have accepted you as mates otherwise.”

“There’s no future about it,” Logan murmured, voice like velvet. “You are our Luna. We can’t wait to make it official.”

Before I could answer, he leaned in, capturing my mouth with his. His kiss was wild, greedy—as if I were the only thing keeping him breathing. When we broke apart, I was gasping.

I didn’t have time to catch a second breath before Liam claimed my lips. His kisses were usually gentle at first, building to something deeper. But this one was intense from the start—possessive, unyielding, as if to remind me I was his, utterly and irreversibly.

When he finally released me, I blurted, “Then let’s not wait.”

Both of them stared at me, stunned. Given how much I’d insisted we take things slow, I understood the disbelief on their faces.

“Don’t joke like that, Angel,” Liam said softly, his expression wary. “Not unless you mean it.”

Logan watched me closely, every line of his face carved in seriousness. “Do you mean it, baby girl? Tell me you mean it.”

I smiled slyly. “I wouldn’t have said it if I didn’t.”

Liam exhaled in relief, a heavy whoosh beside me.

“Thank fuck I locked that door,” Logan growled. “Because now, we’re going to show you just how happy you’ve made us.”

And they did—without hesitation.
