My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate Chapter 343
Dahlia’s POV
The ride back to Blood Moon was cloaked in silence.
After three days of blissful ecstasy, the quiet felt heavy—like a storm cloud had followed us home, born from the nightmare that had ripped me from sleep. When I awoke screaming again earlier that morning, I knew immediately—this one was different. The scenes hadn’t changed: blood-soaked floors, lifeless bodies of those I loved, and the beautiful yet terrifying creature I instinctively knew was behind it all.
But this time, he spoke to me. Not with words formed by lips—his mouth never moved—but I heard him all the same. His glowing, evil eyes pinned me in place, and then his voice slithered into my mind, dark and thunderous.
“I’m coming for you, Celtic Wolf.”
“Selene dares to challenge us with her ‘special’ wolf, but she’ll soon realize the futility of her defiance. I’ll slaughter you and every soul you hold dear simply because you were born. Blood Moon may be the strongest among the wolves—but they will all fall protecting you.”
That was when I let out a blood-curdling scream and jolted upright. My mates rushed to soothe my cries, but even as their warmth grounded me, dread coiled tighter in my gut.
He didn’t know I was gone. He was heading for Blood Moon.
And I wasn’t there to protect them.
The people I had come to love—my family in all but blood—were going to die for me if I didn’t stop him. I had to get back. If we could reach the pack in time, maybe I could offer myself in exchange. Maybe I could convince him that taking me was enough—that he didn’t need to destroy anyone else. I wasn’t trained enough to face him, but I wouldn’t go down easily. I’d make sure of that.
I knew the twins would never agree to my plan. I was their Luna. Sacred. They would burn the world before letting anyone lay a hand on me. Even if it meant sacrificing themselves. Which is why I couldn’t let them know what I was planning.
None of it would matter if we didn’t get back in time.
“We have to go home!” I’d cried the moment I could form words again. It was the only thing I’d said since waking, even as Liam and Logan pressed me relentlessly for an explanation.
“What’s going on, Angel? Please talk to us,” Liam pleaded gently.
“We want to take you back,” Logan said, his brows drawn tight with concern, “but not until your heat fades. You’re still too ripe—too dangerous. It’s not safe.”
Their protectiveness was like a second skin. Familiar, warm… and maddening.
“My heat is almost gone. It’s manageable now—and I know you both will keep me safe,” I countered firmly.
“But we still had plans for these last few hours, baby girl.” Logan’s voice dropped to a sultry murmur as he pulled me onto his lap, lips brushing against my ear.
Normally, his teasing would’ve pulled a laugh or a blush from me. But my body was still trembling from the nightmare, adrenaline keeping me on edge. Liam noticed immediately. His eyes darkened with worry as he reached over, pried me from Logan’s lap, and wrapped me tightly in his arms. Through our bond, I felt his calm begin to filter into me.
Eventually, after I described every terrifying detail of my dream—and after much begging—the twins relented. We’d leave for Blood Moon immediately. They didn’t know what kind of creature had infiltrated my dreams, and while they didn’t openly admit to believing an attack was coming, I saw the fear flickering in their eyes.
They agreed to speak to the elders once we returned. Keziah, who already knew something about my wolf, might know more than she’d let on. More than she had dared say.
Against every protective instinct they possessed, they even allowed me to see Faelan before we left.
“No. Absolutely fucking not,” Logan snapped the second I brought it up.
“He’s unmated, Lia,” Liam added, his jaw tight. “He can still smell your heat—and it’s obvious he wants you.”
I didn’t know what to make of Faelan’s confession the other day, but I couldn’t just leave without warning him. If this creature found out where I’d been, Faelan might be next—and he’d never see it coming.
Squaring my shoulders, I met their fury with steel. “Faelan’s been a true friend. You should be thanking him for everything he’s done these past two months. He had every reason to send me away—and he didn’t.”
Logan gave a grudging, “Fine,” while Liam, ever the softer of the two, offered a quiet, “You’re right, Angel. We do owe him.”
The meeting went about as awkwardly as I feared. My mates sandwiched me between them the entire time, keeping Faelan a good ten feet away until I finally ordered them out of the room. Faelan looked like he was in pain—whether from my heat or the sight of me so intimately held by my mates, I couldn’t tell.
Either way, it was over. We’d said our goodbyes. And now, we were heading home.
I thought I was doing a decent job of controlling the last lingering flames of my heat. The occasional wave would hit—subtle pulses of desire in my core—but I always managed to suppress it. At least, I thought I had, until Logan let out a low growl beside me.
Liam’s eyes met mine through the rearview mirror—glinting, hungry. He was watching me.
Then Logan dropped to his knees on the floor in front of me. Without a word, he parted my thighs, his hands sliding beneath my dress until it bunched around my waist. I gasped when he pushed my panties aside and dragged his fingers through my slick folds.
“Fuck,” Liam cursed from the driver’s seat.
“Look at me, Angel,” he ordered, voice thick with lust. “I want to watch while my brother makes you come.”
Gods help me—I loved it when they did this.
Logan’s fingers were relentless, stroking me faster and faster until I was trembling. But I never broke eye contact with Liam, who barely spared glances at the road, completely entranced by my unraveling.
Just as the peak hit, Logan slowed his fingers, drawing a needy moan from me—only to bury his mouth between my thighs and start again. The moment I began to fall apart once more, the car swerved sharply. Logan grabbed my hips to steady me as Liam yanked the wheel and pulled over.
“What the fuck, Liam?!” Logan barked.
“Out. You’re driving,” Liam snapped, throwing the door open and dragging his brother out by his shirt.
Then he climbed into the back and replaced him.
He didn’t waste a second. Liam unzipped his pants, hauled me into his lap, and thrust into me with a groan that vibrated through my whole body. I moaned as he filled me completely, stretching me in the way that only he could. It didn’t matter that they’d taken me just hours ago—it always felt like the first time.
Liam gripped my hips tight, controlling every motion as he drove into me over and over again. I could only cling to the seat in front of me, helpless to anything but the rhythm of his thrusts and the fire he stoked inside me. When my climax hit, I screamed his name, and he followed with a deep groan as he emptied himself into me.
Afterwards, I collapsed against his chest, breathless and boneless. He shifted me sideways, cradling me in his lap, stroking my hair, his kisses soft and slow.
I fought sleep—I didn’t want to risk slipping into another nightmare—but his warmth, his scent, and the safety of his arms lulled me under. And so, wrapped in him, I slept the rest of the way home.
