Rebirth Of The Rejected Luna Chapter 101: Proposal From Both Ends

**Tiana's POV**

I held Elara's letter as though it possessed unholy powers while her sweet words containing regret stung my whole being. I had only read the letter one time yet I could almost start crying at how bold her words had been..“She is not worthy. With her wolfless condition, she doesn’t deserve you.” Those words repeated through my thoughts as my anger finally boiled to the surface. She had no right to question me becoming Luna when she had been the one to reject Theo. I was also annoyed by how sneaky she had been in trying to get to his father. It was only luck that made Theo see the letter before his father read it.

I breathed deeply to force myself out of the harmful storm of thoughts simply because It wasn’t worth it.

“You’re not seriously considering her proposal, are you?” I asked, my voice flat, though the tension in my chest begged to be released.

Theo met my gaze, his expression unreadable, and for a moment, the silence between us stretched.

“She’s just trying to cause trouble,” he said, finally breaking the silence. His voice was steady, but there was an edge to it that made me think otherwise. “And she’s too late. I’m not going back on my decision. Like I said, I never wanted her. I have eyes only for you."

I nodded slowly, forcing myself to calm down, but I couldn’t help the question that slipped from my mouth.

“Has your father seen this letter?” I asked, my tone soft, cautious. I didn’t want to cause any tension, especially not now when everything felt fragile between us.

Theo’s eyes hardened at the mention of his father, and he shook his head. “No. He hasn’t seen it. I’m not planning to show him either.”

“Why?” I pressed, my curiosity getting the better of me. “Don’t you think it would be better to let him know what’s going on?”

Theo let out a sharp breath, leaning back against the wall. He glanced at the letter in my hand and then at the floor. “It doesn’t change anything. If he finds out about Elara’s letter, he’ll only use it to try to force me to reconsider.” His jaw clenched. “I’ve already made my choice. He’ll have to deal with it.”

“And what do you plan to do with it?” I asked. "She will be here at the mating ceremony. The Lycans were invited and will be arriving tomorrow." Elara had to be dealt with—she couldn’t be allowed to cause more problems.

“I’m going to burn it,” Theo said matter-of-factly. “It’s just words. She’s not getting anything from me. Nothing’s changing. But I’ll deal with her when the time comes.”

I nodded, my fingers tightening around the letter. Burning it was the best thing to do—there was no reason to keep something that had the potential to disrupt everything. But still, I couldn’t help but feel a sharp ache of resentment at the way Elara had spoken of me. “She is not worthy.” How dare she?

Theo noticed my silence, and his gaze softened for a moment. “You’re upset. I can see it.”

I inhaled slowly, trying to reign in the fury that burned in my chest. “It’s nothing,” I muttered, trying to push my feelings aside. “I don’t want to make this about me.”

Theo raised an eyebrow, unconvinced. “It’s clearly bothering you. You know you can tell me anything.”

I hesitated, unsure of how to tell him what I was feeling. I didn’t want to stir the pot. I didn’t want to make things worse than they already were. But this was something I couldn’t keep inside.

“I have something to tell you as well,” I finally said. Theo’s expression changed, curiosity flickering in his eyes. I could see the wheels turning in his mind as he processed my words.

“What is it?” He asked, leaning forward slightly.

"Derek," I paused, choosing my words carefully. “He wants me back.”

Theo’s brow furrowed at the mention of Derek’s name. “What? No.” He shook his head as if he couldn’t believe what I was saying. “Why would he want you back? After everything?”

I swallowed hard. “Because he regrets rejecting me,” I said quietly. “He’s made it clear that he wants us to try again.”

There was a long silence before Theo spoke again, his voice low and controlled. “So, what do you want, Tiana?”

I stared at him, unsure of how to answer. The question seemed so simple, yet so complicated. “I don’t want to go back to Derek. Our mating ceremony is in two days,” I said quickly, almost too quickly. “I don’t want him. But I also don’t want to cause any conflict. I don’t want to drag this out, and I certainly don’t want to make things harder between our packs. I don’t want to be the cause of any animosity between the Shadowclaw pack and the Moonstone pack.”

Theo’s face softened, and he stepped closer to me, “I understand,” he said. “But Derek’s going to have to understand something too.” He reached for my hand. “You belong with me now, Tiana. Not with him. And I won’t let him come between us.”

I felt a strange mix of comfort and unease. His words were meant to reassure me, but something about them made my stomach twist. “Theo, I’m serious. I don’t want any trouble. I just want to be left alone to live my life with you.”

Theo was silent for a moment, his gaze intense as he stared at me. I could see the wheels turning in his mind as he processed everything I had said. Finally, he spoke.

“I’ll talk to Derek,” he said. His voice was cold as if the thought of Derek being near me was something he couldn’t tolerate. “I’ll make it clear to him that he is treading dangerous waters.”

I opened my mouth to protest, but the words died in my throat. “No,” I said softly, my voice steady. “Don’t. Please don’t talk to him. I don’t want conflict.”

Theo’s eyes hardened. “He’s already caused enough. He’s not going to get away with trying to turn your head again. I won’t let him undermine what we have.”

I stepped back, my chest tightening. “Theo,” I said, my voice pleading. “I don’t want him to be a part of this. Please, don’t start anything.”

“I have to make it clear to him,” Theo repeated, his jaw clenched. “He needs to understand that you’re mine, Tiana. And if he can’t respect that, then I’ll handle it.”
