Rebirth Of The Rejected Luna Chapter 92: Redemption

**Theo's POV**

I walked away quickly from the members of the Moonstone pack. The questions they had begun to ask me about Tiana were making me uncomfortable.

I was well aware that they were solid allies and the Alpha of their pack had been childhood friends with my father, but I was still not comfortable sharing too many details about Tiana.

Sighing, I made my way to my father's chambers to inform him of their early arrival.

I pushed the heavy wooden door open, stepping into the familiar warmth of my father’s chambers. "Father?" I called out, glancing around the room. His sitting area was empty, but the sound of running water from the adjoining bathroom made it clear where he was.

I sighed, leaning against the doorframe for a moment. I did not feel like going back so soon. "I’ll wait here," I muttered to myself, stepping further in.

At first, I paced around the room and then moved to the edge of his massive bed and sat down, tapping my fingers against my knee impatiently.

As my gaze wandered, it landed on a pile of envelopes neatly stacked on the bedside table. Most of them looked like the usual correspondence—official seals, formal handwriting—but one stood out.

It was a very unique and uncommon envelope, edged with gold and marked with the unmistakable seal of the Lycan Court.

Curiosity got the better of me. Frowning, I reached for it, turning it over in my hands. The envelope was addressed to my father, but the handwriting was elegant and feminine-like. Surely, my father did not have a mistress in the Lycan court and I was certain the Lycan court was not sending a letter with such handwriting to discuss important affairs.

I hesitated for a moment before sliding my finger under the seal. My father would likely share the contents with me anyway, and if it concerned the Lycans, it was probably important.

Inside was a letter written in the same careful script. My chest tightened as I began to read.

*Alpha Romano,*

*I write to you with a heavy heart and an even heavier regret.*

*It has come to my attention that your son, Theodore Romano, has found his second chance mate and is soon to be joined to her in the sacred ceremony of the moon goddess’ blessing. While I do not wish to undermine his happiness or the sanctity of this bond, I must implore you to consider a matter of great importance—one that affects not just our fates, but the balance of power between the Lycan Court and your esteemed pack.*

*Theo and I were meant to be. The goddess herself chose us for one another, and I see now how foolish I was to have rejected him. I know I never mentioned it to you or my father which was wrong. I was blinded by my pride of being a Lycan, but I was also more blinded by fear of what it would mean to stand beside someone as strong and honourable as your son. But I have changed, Alpha Romano I have come to understand the depth of my mistake and the weight of what I lost when I let Theo go.*

*I know that his heart now belongs to another, but I believe that with time, we can mend what was broken. I believe that the bond we were meant to share can be rekindled, stronger than before.*

*As a father, I know you must want what is best for your son, but you must also consider what is best for your pack. A union between Theo and myself would not only restore the bond between our families, but it would elevate the Shadowclaw pack to new heights. Imagine the Lycans and the werewolves being joined as families? Together, we could forge an alliance so powerful that no rival could ever hope to challenge it.*

*We would be able to birth new Lycans and hybrid between Lycans and wolves which would be advantageous to both of our packs.*

*I do not mean to disparage his current mate, but she is not worthy. She does not have the strength or the standing to lead as Luna. I heard she doesn't even have a wolf yet. The goddess may have given Theo a second chance mate, but I do not believe she intended for him to settle for less than he deserves.*

*Please, Alpha Romano, I beg you to intervene. For the sake of your son, your pack, and the future we could build together, reject this union before it is too late. Let me prove to you—and to Theo—that I am worthy of being by his side.*

*I am truly sorry for rejecting him before, and I will spend the rest of my life making up for that mistake if you give me the chance. Please do not let one impulsive decision destroy what could be a bond that shapes the future of our kind.*

*Yours in hope and repentance,*

*Princess Elara of the Lycan Court*

My hand trembled as I set the letter down. A storm of emotions surged within me. I was angry, surprised and... I could not even describe all the emotions I felt within me.

Elara.

The woman who has judged me harshly without ever knowing me. The woman who’d made me question my worth.

What annoyed me was how we had moved past all that and built what I thought was a platonic friendship. And now she thought she could come crawling back, demanding to take Tiana’s place?

I clenched my jaw, the paper crumpling slightly under my grip. She had no right. None.

I could not believe that she had betrayed me by even writing a letter to my father about it when she knew how I felt about Tiana.

And my father—what would he do? Elara’s offer was tempting, I couldn’t deny that. An alliance with the Lycan Court would solidify our pack’s position as the strongest in the region. My father was nothing if not practical, and he’d always been more focused on power than emotion and from the start, he was not necessarily in support of my relationship with Tiana.

But Tiana…

The thought of losing her, of breaking her heart, made my chest tighten.

I wouldn’t let her be replaced.
