Rebirth Of The Rejected Luna Chapter 102: Disagreements
**Tiana's POV**
"It's not a good idea," I said after a few minutes of silence but he turned around and walked deeper into his chambers leaving me standing there.
"Theo, I'm serious," I said again, but this time in a firmer tone.
As I paced the length of his chambers, his insistence on confronting Derek was all I could think about, and every time I replayed the conversation, it only made me angrier.
Theo had retired to his desk, his posture stiff as he scribbled something on a piece of paper.
“Theo, are you even listening to me?” I stopped pacing, my arms crossed over my chest. I had been moving around for close to thirty minutes, yet he had ignored my presence. Even when I asked him this, he didn’t look up.
“I heard you, Tiana. You don’t want me to speak to Derek. But I can’t just sit back and let him think he can waltz in here and undermine our bond.”
“It’s not about letting him do anything,” I snapped. “You’re acting like this is some kind of territory dispute. I don’t want a fight, Theo. Derek isn’t worth it.”
Theo’s hand stopped moving the quill, and he finally turned to face me. His gray eyes, usually warm, were now stormy. “This isn’t just about Derek. It’s about protecting what’s mine.”
I flinched at his choice of words. “Yours? Is that how you see me? As something you have to stake a claim on?”
His expression faltered, and for a moment, I thought he might apologize. But instead, he rose from his chair, his towering frame casting a shadow over me. “That’s not what I meant, and you know it. But if he thinks he can come here and stir things up, he needs to understand he shouldn't dare.”
I took a step back, my voice trembling with frustration. “You’re letting your pride get in the way, Theo. This isn’t about Derek. This is about us. And right now, you’re making me feel like you don’t trust me.”
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “It’s not you I don’t trust. It’s him.”
“And yet, your actions are making me feel like I’m the one who has to prove myself,” I said. "Goodbye," I said, moving towards the door, seeing as he did not have my time.
Theo’s gaze softened, but before he could respond, I already left.

Theo had tried to see me twice after I left his room but I proceeded to give him the silent treatment, but in the end, I found myself at his door.
"Tiana," he said, standing up from the bed and rushing to meet me at the door. "I thought you didn't want to talk to me."
"I don't," I said, walking towards his bed and lying face down.
"But you came here," he whispered softly, laying down beside me and tucking my hair away.
I said nothing in response.
A knock on the door made the two of us turn our heads in that direction.
"Your majesty," a soft voice called out.
“Come in,” Theo called.
The door creaked open, and a maid stepped in, her face pale and her hands clutching a familiar envelope. My stomach dropped as I recognized it instantly—Elara’s letter.
“I’m sorry to disturb you both,” she said, her eyes darting nervously between us. “But I found this. I thought you should know. I apologize for reading through it, but I guess it is a good thing. I suppose you do not want the Alpha to know about it."
Theo’s jaw tightened as he took the letter from her. “Thank you, that will be all.”
She hesitated, her gaze lingering on me as if she wanted to say something. But after a moment, she nodded and left the room, closing the door behind her.
Theo didn’t look at me as he unfolded the letter, his movements deliberate. I watched as his eyes scanned the words, his expression darkening with every line.
“You didn’t burn it,” I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
“I meant to,” he replied, his tone clipped.
“You meant to,” I repeated, anger flaring up again. “But you didn’t. And now someone else has seen it. Do you have any idea what this looks like, Theo? To your pack? To me?”
He slammed the letter down on the desk. “It looks like someone is trying to stir up trouble. And I’ll handle it.”
“Will you?” I shot back. “Because right now, it feels like you’re letting her get inside your head.”
He turned to me, his eyes blazing. “You think I care what Elara has to say? I rejected her once, and I’ll do it again if I have to."
I opened my mouth to argue, but the words died on my lips. He was right, of course. But that didn’t make it any easier to swallow.
“Fine,” I said after a long pause.
He nodded. “I’ll burn it tonight. For good this time.”
I wanted to believe him, but a part of me couldn’t shake the doubt that had taken root.

I was restless for the rest of the day, Theo and I somehow ended up with another argument. It was frustrating that we were having all these arguments so close to the mating ceremony. The fear that he would suddenly feel I'm not worthy and call it off was overwhelming.
Then he would go to Elara who was waiting for him all this while. Elara who has gone behind his back to try sending that letter to his father.
Sitting on a bench in the garden, I leaned my head back into a tree, closing my eyes. It was well past midnight and I could not sleep so I decided to take a walk, somehow ending up here.
“Tiana,” A deep voice called out but somehow it was soft, almost hesitant.
I rose to my feet, my heart pounding as I turned to face the owner of the voice. It was Derek. “What are you doing here?”
