Her CEO Stalker and Her Second Chance Mate Chapter 150
Creedon
I was sitting at my desk trying to concentrate on business but my mind was consumed by her. She was a maddening obsession. I tried to fuck it out of my system, tried to ignore it, attempted to throw myself into work and forget about her worthless cunt ass. I only fell deeper into the pit. Every moment of every hour of every motherfucking day since she escaped me. The thin bond that kept us tethered, still held onto her, but it had considerably weakened which was driving me mad. I could sense the new lifeforce slowly fueling hers and I knew it was only a matter of time before that force completely cut me off.
My phone rang and I swiped across the screen the second I saw my beta’s name flash across it.
“You better fucking have good news,” I warned him.
“She’s here, and we left her a parting gift. It’s time to negotiate with the alpha of Divide,” Juan said. “He only gave us 24 hours, and our guide she was fishy, watched to closely, brought us to specific people to ask about her, but last night we shifted and found the residence on the list. She wasn’t home. My phone dinged with picture messages and I opened them up. Pictures of the trashed residence of the delta pissing all over a bed and the bloodbath across the humble home’s front porch.
I grinned, I’ve got you little lamb.
“Pull out, but don’t go too far, I’ll get the jet ready.” I told them as I stood up.
I hung up and dialed the alpha. It rang three times.
“Hello, Mr. MacAlister, to what do I owe this pleasure?” He crooned. He knew she was there the whole fucking time! I growled low through the phone.
“Permission to come and collect my mate,” I snarled.
“Oh? And what do I get out of safe passage onto my territory?” He said nonchalantly.
“5,000,000,” I said. Money was of no relevance to me. He could have it all for all I cared; I could make more.
“Up front, Mr. McAlister, and you have access,” he said lazily. “She’s not one of mine, if you can get her, she is your’s but I must warn you, my beta has taken a liking to her. Do me a favor and take him out in the process, and I won’t charge you more for stealing my heir away,” he said cooly.
Now that was interesting. My mate had Alpha blood? He was giving up his only heir, which was stupid; it was as if he wanted her out of his way, but I wouldn’t argue. I transferred the funds with a few clicks. Then toggled over to alert my private jet staff to be at the ready. I was gripping my phone like a vice, waiting for their answer, when the entire building went dark again. No cell service, no internet, no lights. I snarled into the darkness. Someone was trying to keep me from my mate, and I was going to have their heads! My office building had been targeted multiple times over the last several weeks but this time was the longest it had ever lasted, and I was not dumb to the fact that this particular incident happened right after I attempted to initiate my jet to prep for Colorado. A low menacing growl tore through my throat. I pushed away from my desk and headed to the door. That's when the bond knocked me on my ass as it thinned and stretched, threatening to break. The pain was excruciating. I roared out through the anguish coursing through me. Latrissa burst through the door, my wolf eyes able to make out her initial concern in the dim lighting. Her expression was replaced by a snear of disgust.
“She’s making you weak, alpha. I warned you, all you have to do is accept it, and it will all go away,” she urged.
Not a motherfucking chance, this little bitch of mine wasn’t going to get the best of me. I gritted my teeth and pulled myself up to face her. I bared my teeth before, I shot across the room and grabbed her by her throat, pinning her to the wall. She swallowed nervously, her confidence lost as the smell of her fear laced the air. It just fueled my wolf’s adrenaline, as it surged through me. Another reminder, I was one screw loose from completely losing my shit. I snarled in her face.
“Question me again, Latrissa, and I’ll rip your fucking throat out. She is worth more to me than you; how about you accept that?” I growled back before I let her go. I passed her as she collapsed, now crumpled to the floor. She wasn’t wrong, but I’d never let a naive country girl get the best of me. If Adelaide thought what I did to her before was bad…I’d have her begging for my cock by the end, I promised. My whore of a mate had ruined my name in business affairs, cutting the dragon of my enterprises off at the head; she was ruining my mind as well. Every waking moment, all I could think about was her. Whomever this third party was, that was pulling my mate from me; most likely the beta of Clyde's pack, from what he had just said. He was standing in the way of something I wanted, something I needed to survive, and that wouldn’t do. Latrisha was right, Adelaide Anderson made me weak, and she would pay for that.

I clipped the video of Creedon putting his hand on his ex, ran it through some software to make it clearer in the dim lighting, and blasted it out onto the internet. Unfortunately, his cameras had no sound, but over the course of the last month, he had become…explosive. I had clipped a few of these moments, and his once good name was now tarnished. While I worked this angle attack, Beck had been stalking him, sending him random texts from an untraceable number, breaking into the building with my guidance, and taking out all technical functions when we were working together on other schemes, like the data breach we had successfully completed with the last blackout. Now his business was in fragments, the public didn’t trust him and there wasn’t a deal Ads or I hadn’t fucked with since her disappearance. Nobody wanted to touch him with a ten-foot pole. We had him by the dick but that didn’t fix the fact he was going after Briar in a matter of a few hours. I had been packing our bags for weeks knowing he was getting to close with the Alpha of Divide. I had asked Cricket if she would rather stay here with her friends or go stay with her auntie. She looked at me like I was dumb; her auntie would always come first. I would honor that, and so would Beck. Adelaide could chew me out later when she was safe. Beck and Cricket had become inseparable, part of me wanted to shield my daughter from the man who had breezed in one day and immediately stole her heart. He was a drifter, and once this was over he would, without a doubt disappear, I had to remind myself of that fact too. Somehow he was burrowing into my heart uninvited. I reach for my phone and dial Adelaide. No answer. I pull up the tracker on her phone and dial into the cameras. One glimpse and I smile, she’s exactly where she needs to be I thought and closed the app.
