Her CEO Stalker and Her Second Chance Mate Chapter 190

Beck

I stepped out front to get some air, I wasn’t used to being around such a pleasant group of people. Most of Divide were bluecollared men and soccer moms but they were also all bikers, so I still fit in I guess in my own way. Nobody who didn’t get a whiff of me wouldn’t think twice. I leaned against the front porch post and stared out into the night. I heard the door open and close behind me. I didn’t need to sniff the air to know who was there. I smiled to myself as she took the opposite post and followed my gaze.

“It’s peaceful here,” I decided to do the awkward intro into conversation.

“It will be under Briar and Carter’s protection,” I corrected. “You girls will be safe here,” I added. Out of my peripheral, I noticed her shoulders slump. At some point we had to talk about this, the problem was I couldn’t even fathom what was happening between us. After Alley, I didn’t think I could have feelings for anyone else. Heck I had lived the last few years of my life rescuing random women from one peril to the next. Briar had hit me like a ton of bricks, there was just something about her that I admired. Inserting myself into her best friend’s life to harass the bastard that harmed Briar, should have been nothing. The thing was Cricket had grown on me to the point I’d make sure she had a guiding light for the days to come. Then there was Misty who had somehow gotten her way into that place I didn’t think would let anyone in again.

“When are you leaving?” she asked. Her big brown eyes looked up at me from her five foot one stature as I met her gaze.

“Depends.”

“Depends on what?” she asked.

“When do you want me to leave?”

“What if I say I don’t want you too,” she said looking at me pointedly and waited for my response.

I thought I would struggle with this response but it came out easy.

“Then I’ll stay, I would have been coming and going anyway. I can’t leave my girls for too long,” I found myself saying but I agreed that it was true.

“Your girls?” Misty asked carefully.

“Yeah, you and Cricket,” I said, taking a sip of the beer in my hand as I watched her features try to make sense of what I was saying. Guess I had to say it outright.

“I’ll stick around as long as you want me around,” I tried to be clearer.

“What if I want you around forever?” She pushed and I grinned down at her, and set my beer on the banister. I closed the distance, her neck craning up to meet mine at my six foot five stature. The size difference was comical. The thing was, even bears run away from badgers, and if Misty embodied an animal that’s exactly what she would be. Fierce, protective and boy did her claws sting. I lifted her up and sat her ass on the banister so I could look her clearly in the eyes, hands on either side of her.

“I don’t know what this is between us, or how a wretch of a man like me deserves any of it. I don’t want to fight it anymore. You’re the thing life handed me after all the horror and bloodshed I’ve trudged through the last twenty years and I’m not letting you go if you want me. I’m selfish enough to take what you are offering me.

Her mouth parted and she licked her lips before she looked me dead in the eye and said. “Fuck me.”

That set something loose in me, there was so much more to being with Misty then fucking her, but right now that wasn’t what mattered. Showing my girl I meant what I said is what mattered so I bent to kiss her and she grabbed the neck hair of my beard and dove into that kiss like a woman who had been rotating this moment in her head for months. She wasn’t letting me go either. Every tongue stroke was a vow from her heart and the walls around mine caved as our bodies pressed closer together. My hands slid under her sweater exploring the skin beneath the thick layer of clothes. Her kisses became more needy. She swore something in Spanish over my lips. I grabbed her thighs and lifted her up, her legs easily tangling around my waist.

“I can do just that,” I growled into her ear as I pressed her into the siding of the house.

Her gaze into my eyes shifted from heated to unguarded. My heart raced, I’d seen many of Misty’s faces over the last several months and this one was new.

“I want all of you Beck, the good, the bad and the ugly. We both have pasts, but I want a future with you,” she admitted, waiting for my reaction.

It wasn’t even a question. I’d give her all of it. I didn’t bother wondering if she could handle it as I worked the button of her jeans and peeled them off her legs. She kicked her shoes off, helping me dispose of them before she unbuttoned mine and lined me up to her entrance. I couldn’t say no to her. I’d give her any goddess damn thing she asked of me.

I pushed into her and she yanked my beard pulling my mouth down to hers. I dove into the kiss as I worked into her, the heat of my body shielding her from the frigid night as her tongue moved along mine a foreign sense of peace washed over me. I shouldn’t find happiness, but I did in a human woman. The goddess could damn me, I wasn’t forsaking her. I pushed deeper into her and the world seemed to right itself after so many years of serving the penance to my sins. Maybe this was my gift. I’d fucking cherish this whatever it was. I learned my lesson the first time.

Misty moaned into my mouth, her hands clinging to my shoulders. I gripped her neck, pinning her to the wall; forcing her to look into my eyes.

“I choose you,” I told her, and I doubted she understood the significance of the words but when she echoed them…

“And I choose you,” she promised back.

The wall between us inside me came crashing down. And everything fell away but her and me.

I kissed her deeply as I pummeled into her at a relentless force. She was my woman now, shifter or not, this human female was mine, she wanted me, and I wasn’t sure if I could survive another day without being hers.

Misty’s soft cries told me she was close, but I knew from experience she had a hard time letting go. Too often she had been used, and that was all she knew. However, I knew how to unravel her at this point.

“Submit,” I bellowed huskily into her ear, her body immediately loosened and quivered. I rammed into her and she began constricting around my cock as her legs shook.

“Beck,” she cried out and my name on her lips was my undoing. I spilled into her, the release like no other I had experienced in decades.

We stayed connected for a long moment panting before I let her down and handed her the pants we had discarded and buttoned myself up. She pulled them on before she asked. “You’re staying?” her voice timid for once.

I nodded. “Yes,” I promised and I meant it.

She stared at me for a long moment as if assuring herself I meant it and we both went inside. Lana was walking out of the kitchen with a plate of cookies and a bowl of popcorn.

“Don ‘t mind me,” she said, before disappearing down the hallway.

Misty snorted and glanced to the tree, then the clock on the wall. “I’ll see you in a few hours,” she said before squeezing my hand and heading down to her room with Cricket. I laid awake for a while on the couch wondering where my life was going to go from here. I couldn’t think of a bad place, I just hoped Ally wished us well from the other side.
