His Abandoned Luna Chapter 163
|| Lilac’s POV ||
I walked behind Alaric to a room that Alexander showed us. The moment the room’s door clicked shut behind us, Alaric's control shattered.
His hands were on me before I could breathe, one tangling in my hair, the other gripping my waist hard enough to bruise as he backed me against the wall. The wood pressed into my spine, but I barely felt it, not when his mouth crashed down on mine with a hunger that stole my breath.
"I've waited too fucking long for this," he growled against my lips, his teeth nipping at my bottom lip before soothing it with his tongue. Dominance, desire all twisted together in a blend that sent a distinct satisfaction in me. The tingling sensation spread along my skin.
I arched into him, my fingers scrambling at the buttons of his shirt. "Then stop waiting."
His laugh was dark, promising. "Being impatient, little Luna."
The dresser hit the backs of my thighs as he lifted me onto it, the wood cool through the thin fabric of my dress. His hands slid under my thighs, yanking me to the edge until there was no space left between us.
"Alaric-" A moan left my lips, as I ached for his touch.
"Say it again," he demanded, his voice rough.
"Alaric," I gasped as his mouth found my neck, his teeth scraping over my pulse point. As if he wanted to mark me.
"Mine." He growled.
His hands trembled as they pushed my dress up my thighs, just slightly, just enough to tease.
"You scared the hell out of me," he admitted, his lips trailing fire down my collarbone. "When you were gone.... when those rogues had you- I never was this scared, dove! Not for anyone, not even for death."
I cupped his face, forcing him to meet my eyes. "I'm here. I'm safe."
"Not safe enough." His fingers hooked into the lace of my panties, tearing them apart with a single jerk. "Not until every inch of you remembers who you belong to."
I should have been offended. I should have argued.
Instead, I moaned.
His belt clattered to the floor. His pants followed.
And then I felt his length touching my entrace. I closed my eyes at anticipation.
"Look at me," he ordered as he pushed inside, his grip bruising on my hips.
I obeyed, my eyes locking onto his as he filled me, inch by torturous inch.
"Fuck- Lilac-" His forehead dropped to mine, his breath ragged. "You feel like heaven."
I rolled my hips, drawing a groan from his throat.
"Then why do you look like you're praying?" I teased.
His laugh was strained. "Because I am."
He moved then, setting a pace that had me clawing at his shoulders, my back scraping against the mirror behind me. The dresser rocked with each thrust, the wood creaking under our weight.
"Harder," I demanded.
"Greedy," he teased, but he obeyed, his fingers digging into my thighs as he drove into me deeper, harder, until all I could see was him- his dark eyes, his sweat- slicked skin, the way his muscles tensed with every movement.
"Come for me," he growled, his thumb circling my clit with just the right pressure.
I shattered.
His name tore from my lips as pleasure ripped through me, my body clamping around him in waves. He followed moments later, his release hot inside me, his teeth sinking into my shoulder as he muffled his roar.
"Mine," he panted against my skin. "Always mine."
We collapsed onto the bed in a tangle of limbs, too spent to move.
Alaric traced idle patterns on my bare back, his voice drowsy but satisfied. "Still think Elias is your mate?"
My skin crawled at Alaric took his name. He was a viper, who somehow managed to dlip into my life. I still didn't know how he managed to pull this trick off, but whatever it was, would be ugly. And I would definitely find out what he was upto!
I snorted. "After that? I'd challenge him myself if he claimed it."
His arm tightened around me. "Good."
His eyes blazed with a satisfaction that I could never forget. A smile tugged in the corner of my lips as I touched his cheeks. He kissed my knuckles gently. My heart raced. Only he could make me feel this way.
Because we both knew the truth.
No bond... whether soul mate or otherwise, could compete with this.
I was done with mates. I was done with chasing behind the visions, prophecies. This was my truth! This man was the only one in my heart, and from now on, I would never hurt him. Not again! Even if my actual soul mate showed up.
"I am sorry, Alaric," I whispered.
"For what, dove?" He asked gently.
"For everything. I shouldn’t have look for a soulmate." I sighed.
"This is not your fault. But I intend to find out who is behind this," he gritted his teeth.
