His Abandoned Luna Chapter 83
|| Lilac's POV ||
Ezra was lounging on the couch with his usual denomenur, flipping through channels on the TV.
“Look, that bastard is steaming again… this time his pants are even gone,” he said, grinning as Kael’s face appeared on every news channel.
“Stop it, Ezra,” Mom scolded him, though her attention quickly turned back to me. “Sweetpea, did Kael do anything to you? A photo of you with Kael on his knees has gone viral.”
I blinked, trying to focus on her words. My head was pounding, and the heat in my body was becoming overwhelming.
“All good, Mom,” I said, my voice strained. “I’m really exhausted. Can we please talk tomorrow?”
“But— ” Mom started, her concern evident.
“Let her be, honey,” Dad interrupted, his voice firm but gentle. “She had a long evening.”
I nodded gratefully, though my legs felt like they were made of lead as I slowly made my way toward the stairs. Just as I reached the first step, Dad called out to me.
“Sweetpea,” he said, his voice soft but filled with pride. I turned to meet his eyes, and he smiled. “I’m proud of you.”
“Thanks, Dad,” I whispered, my voice barely audible. I forced a smile before continuing up the stairs, each step feeling heavier than the last.
By the time I reached my room, the heat in my body had become unbearable. My skin felt like it was on fire, and I fumbled with the buttons of my dress, desperate to get it off. The fabric clung to me, suffocating me, and I finally managed to pull it over my head, letting it fall to the floor in a heap. I stood there in my undergarments, my chest heaving as I tried to catch my breath.
And then I saw him.
Alaric.
He was standing in the corner of my room, his grey eyes dark and filled with concern.
“Alaric!” I giggled, the sound almost hysterical as I stumbled toward him. My arms curled around his neck, and I pressed myself against him, seeking relief from the heat that consumed me.
“I knew you weren’t fine,” he said, his voice low and rough. His minty breath brushed against my skin, sending shivers down my spine.
“Come on… kiss me,” I pouted, my lips brushing against his. My body was begging for him, for his touch, for his warmth.
Alaric’s hands gripped my waist, holding me at arm’s length. His eyes searched mine, filled with a mix of desire and hesitation. “Are you sure? Aren’t you saving your everything for your mate?”
I pushed him away, though my hands lingered on his chest.
“That’s right,” I said, my voice trembling. But then I looked at him again, my heart aching. “Why can’t you be my mate?”
"Because you don't want me to," he sighed, his expression softening.
"Who told you so? I kept asking you if you are my mate and you said no," I complained.
“Alright,” he said, his voice resigned. Before I could protest, he scooped me up in his arms and jumped out of the window, the cool night air rushing past us.
The breeze soothed my burning skin, but it wasn’t enough. I needed more. My hands fumbled with the straps of my undergarments, desperate to feel his skin against mine. Alaric tried to restrain me, but I kissed him instead, my lips crashing against his with a hunger I couldn’t control.
“Damn it, Lilac,” he growled, his hands tightening around me. The kiss deepened, his tongue tangling with mine as his hands roamed my body. My fingers found the waistband of his pants, and I tugged at them, my need for him overwhelming.
“I want you… now,” I whispered, my voice trembling with desire.
Alaric pulled back, his eyes searching mine. “Are you sure you won’t regret it?”
“I never regret you. I can't even keep you out of my head,” I said, my voice firm despite the heat clouding my mind.
With a low growl, he picked me up, his lips trailing kisses along my neck. I moaned, my hands gripping his shoulders as he pressed me against the trunk of a pine tree. His scent was overwhelming, a mix of pine and earth that made my head spin. He took his time, his hands exploring every inch of my body, driving me to the edge of madness.
“Your arousal is a poison to me, dove,” he said, his voice rough with desire. His eyes were dark, filled with a hunger that mirrored my own.
“Look how wet you are,” he whispered, his fingers brushing against me, and I shivered, my body trembling with need.
Then, with a swift move, he shoved himself inside me, and I cried out, my back arching as pleasure coursed through me. He moved slowly at first, his pace deliberate, but soon he picked up speed, his thrusts driving me closer to the edge. I clung to him, my nails digging into his back as I reached my climax, my body shuddering with release.
Alaric groaned, his own release following soon after. The drug’s effects began to wear off, and I collapsed against his chest, my breathing ragged. His arms wrapped around me, holding me close as I inhaled his scent, the only thing that brought me peace in this chaotic world.
He kissed my temple, his voice soft and filled with affection. “Hold still. I’ll carry you back.”
I nodded, my body limp and spent as he lifted me into his arms. The world around me faded, and I let myself drift, safe in the knowledge that Alaric would always be there to catch me.
