Antoni’s POV:

“What were you able to find out where the twins are?” I asked, as Cannon came out of the kitchen. “No, they were saying only the guards know where they are. Because a servant helped you escape the first time.” Cannon said sadly. “Damnit! We have to start looking, I can’t leave without them. I can’t ask you to risk being captured because he was trying to help me.” I said to Cannon he has every right to save himself, he didn’t owe me anything. “No, You’re the reason that was able to even get out of those cells I won’t abandon you. Those babies are more important than me at the moment. So, let’s start checking each room until we find them.” Cannon said, walking away from me, leaving no room to argue. Urrale’s POV:

“CAN YOU PLEASE GET THOSE DAMN MUTTS QUIET! I’m trying to think.” I yelled. I came here because I know my mate wouldn’t leave without those little mutts. Once he comes here, I will take them and start the ritual I can’t waste any more time. “Master!” My servant Maria came rushing in. “What is it?” I asked pacing. “The scout just reported back he said that, that the death hounds were slaughtered.” She said fearfully. I screamed, throwing everything off the table I was standing nearby. The twins stopped crying when they heard me screaming. “How many were killed?” I asked already knowing. “Master, you sent all of them through the rift.” My head began to pound. My anger causing my magic to overwhelm everyone in the room. “Master please?” I heard Maria begging. I drew in my magic, and everyone gasped breathing air into their lungs. “How much time do we have before they make it to the rift?” I asked Maria who was picking herself up off the floor. “The scout said they will be at the rift in an hour or less master.” Maria said, with her head down. “Damn it! Get Shaid and tell her to tie up the pregnant she-wolf and take her to the stone formation and then get everyone and meet me at the stones. Get the twins and bring them to stones.” I said walking out of the room to prepare to finally have everything I have wanted.

Antoni’s POV:

We had checked almost every floor until we came upon the last room on the top floor. There we saw four guards standing at the entrance and we could hear my grand pups crying their little hearts out. We had to stay hidden until the coast was clear we saw the head servant go in and then we heard Urrale screaming at the top of her lungs we saw the guards drop to their knees which would have been perfect, but we would then have to face Urrale, and I didn’t want to do that. She wouldn’t hurt me, but she would more than likely hurt my grand pups or Cannon and I couldn’t do that. We saw the head servant girl rush out followed by Urrale a few minutes later. “Now here out chance you stay behind while I handle the guards.” I said, preparing my head for the fight. “No, I will fight.” Cannon said. “No, you’re weak you can’t risk you getting hurt now.” I said shaking my head. “Antoni, I am weakening but I am not weak.” He said, abruptly walking pass me before I could stop him.

I caught up with him as he walked casually to the first guard with his hand clasped behind his back. As soon as he spotted Cannon, he attacked I went to try and move Cannon out of the way, but the damn boy looked like he was moving in slow motion he easily dodged the attack and used his two of his fingers to hit the guards pressure points and the guy’s eyes widen and stood straight up before falling to the ground. I was so shocked that I didn’t see the second guard charge at me. He tackled me and I landed hard on the ground. I used my elbow and used it to smash it into the back of his head causing a sicken crack to sound off. I pushed the guard off me just as Cannon finished the fourth guard. “Damn son, you have been holding out on me.” I said as he helped me up off the floor. “My grandmother has been training me since I was born, she made sure that we mastered all fighting styles.” Cannon said as we ease the door open. Making sure no guards we left inside.

Stepping inside my eyes immediately landed on Fiona holding the girls close to her as they squirmed and cried. I immediately felt relief and my emotions took over. I rushed to them grabbing them up, inhaling their scent. They immediately sniffed the air, and their tears turned into tears of joy, and they began giving me sloppy kisses. “Well, isn’t this a sweet little surprise? Aren’t we one big happy family?” Urrale said, from the doorway. She looked over at Cannon who was stand stock still with pure fear in his eyes. “Well, Shaid will be happy we found you. She was very sad that she had lost her favorite meal. I will need to make sure she is well fed. Before my mate’s horrid son get here. Which is working out just as I had hope now that we are all together, we can get started.” Urrale said excitedly. “Urrale don’t do this. Just let my grand pups, Fiona, and Cannon go and I will come with you willing. I will do whatever you want I will stay here with you forever.” I said, handing the pups to Fiona who immediately stood directly behind me.

Urrale eyes lit up with happiness. “Oh, you have no idea how happy I am that you have said that. I have waited so long for you to see that I am the one you need by your side that we could still rule the witches and werewolves like we plan all those years ago.” She said, dreamily. “Ok, so just let Fiona and Cannon take the girls to my son, then we can start our lives together.” I said feeling like I may be able to save my grand pups after all. “Oh honey, I can’t do that the pups have to stay, that’s the only way master can rise, and we can become the most powerful couple in the supernatural world. Those babies are the key to our happily ever after.” Urrale said apologetically. “Urrale you will have to kill me before I allow you to touch my grand pups. If anything happens to them, I will never be yours.” I said, taking a defensive stance.

Just then Cannon snapped out of his stupor and attack Urrale easily blocked his attack and used her magic to throw him into the wall outside the door. I used that opportunity to attack understand we were together for a long time, and we trained together. Just like she knows my weaknesses, I know hers. Even with her use of dark magic Urrale has an issue control her powers while in a physical fight she can’t focus her energy and her magic is unreliable. I punched at her as she dodged, which caused her to release Cannon from her hold. She swung at me, I dodged and kicked her in the stomach.

“RUN!” I turned to Fiona who didn’t waste any time and bolted for the door. Urrale screamed and used her magic to hold Fiona in place and created a force field around her so I couldn’t attack. “I thought you were finally seeing what must be done. But you can’t let go of the past and that bitch of a mate and her offspring you and her created. But once I get rid of all of them that bound you to her then you will see that I was right all along. You need to let them go, there is nothing you can do to stop what’s coming, you can’t stop the master from rising. I’m just trying to save us so when this is over, we can start fresh and create the life that we always wanted.” Urrale said as I banged on the force field.

I watched as she took my grand pups out of the room. A guard came in with a gun pointed at me. Signaling me, Cannon, and Fiona to follow Urrale out the door, I could have disarmed him and killed him on the spot, but Urrale had my grand pups and I needed to think of another way to stall her. She said my son was a problem, that must mean he’s close to finding us and I needed to do whatever I can to keep us alive until he gets here. “Son, get your ass here, before we lose everything,” I said trying to use our mind link.
