Ji’lahni's POV:

Who the hell is banging on the door so loudly. I frowned, because the guard knew I was sleeping that’s why I told him that he didn’t have to knock on the door. “Come in,” I said sitting up in my bed. The door burst open, and Razor came barreling in like a big, black, round ball of fur. I smiled because I missed him. It has been a few days since I last saw him. My smile slipped when I see who brought him. His aunt and her flunky. She had a too sweet smile; she obviously has an agenda she usually allows Razor’s sitter to bring him. “Hey buddy I missed you looks like you’re getting big. You’re about to be a big boy.” I said rubbing his fur and cuddling him. He let out a small bark. Before snuggling up to me. I see Summer scowls impatiently I guess waiting to get my attention. Sighing I looked up at the two women standing at the door. “Hello Summer and friend. I feel like you have something you need to get off your chest.” I said raising my eyebrow like I’m the Rock’s sister. They smiled at each other, I feel for my knife that my cousins left for me, just in case it was a situation that involved somebody cutting it up.

“You really thought you could come here, and no one would find out about you and your cousin’s agenda.” “Agenda? Listen. Please stop with the foolery just say what you have to say and be done with it. Because I don’t have the time nor energy to waste on irrelevant folks.” I said Rolling my eyes shaking my head. “Oh, trust me you won’t have to waste any more of your time here. As we speak someone is coming to remove you from our community. You and your cousins came here thinking you could wipe our kind out.” Summer sneered at me. I’m looking, Confused, and thought she was losing her mind at this point. “Our kind? Wipe out? What the fuck are you talking about and lastly no one is removing me from nowhere without my permission and without my cousins. I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about and frankly I’m tired of talking to you and your flunky.” I said to the foolishness they got going on.

My hand was firmly on my knife handle and Razor was trembling tucking himself further under my arm he was causing some pain, but I wasn’t about to make him move just in case these chicks were feeling froggy. “You fat bitches, came here trying to kill us all. When Kahi gets back, and I tell him what you and your cousins were trying to do he will not even think twice about you, or your cousins and my uncle will get a confession out of you one way or the other it really won’t matter to me or Kahi.” She sneered loudly. I Laughed because I real life believe she is losing her damn mind. Me laughing, must has pushed her over the edge, because home girl charge right at me. I had to act quick, so I pulled my knife and aimed it right at her fucking throat she stopped as the tip of my blade nicked her skin. Getting up slowly with my blade still to her throat looking at her friend who’s looking like she wanted to do something. The doc just cleared me to do some short walks very slowly. But I’m not about to let these broads see me weak. Getting up slowly didn’t help the wave of dizziness. It took everything in me to stay upright. Razor was still cuffed in my arm which was screaming at me at this point. “Now I need you and your goon to get the fuck out my room, now back the fuck up, you too dumber." I said.

Just then there was another knock on the door. I rolled my eyes like what the hell is happening when did my room become the meeting spot for everybody. Before I could say anything. It swung open with a bang. A tall, big man stepped in with a bad ass navy pinstripe suit he had a fresh cut with dark brown eyes that looked like he had no problem killing somebody with little reason. I got a little worried, but I didn’t let them see me afraid. Smiling at me stepping next to Summer looking between us. “So little niece is this the human you called me about. She seems to have you at a disadvantage.” He said turning toward me. “Hello ma’am I’m Alpha Zane McKnight.” He said with a charming smile with his hand extended to shake I look at his hand then him then my blade then back at him like you really think I’m going to lower my blade to shake your hand. Understanding my silence, he chuckled and lowered his hand. “Has my niece explained the situation to you?” He asked putting his hand in his pockets walking back towards the door looking at his niece nodding his head gesturing her to back up away from my blade.

I relaxed a little and turned slightly to allow Razor to jump down on the bed which he promptly took a stand beside me growling clearly taking a side. I smiled a little as Summer gasped in shock when her pup growled at her when she reached for him. The older man glanced at Razor and his eyes soften a little looking at him before he turned back to me. “It seems that you and your cousins have been accused of something very disturbing. It seems as though your blood has traces of something that is very lethal to my kind.” “Hold up what the hell is happening this is the second time I’ve heard “our kind” What the hell does that even mean.” I said getting really nervous. He looks at me in surprise. He looks at Summer frowns and asks. “She doesn’t know?” Waving my blade to get his attention. “What don’t I know? And what is me and my cousins being accused of exactly?” I said losing my patience.

Turning back towards me with a smile on his face and then I see his eyes turning a golden honey. I take a step back as he steps towards me until my back hits the wall behind me. “ We are werewolves of course.” He said that shit like it was normal. “What the hell! Are yall crazy or some kind of cult.” I said looking around noticing that more men had come into the room looking like a football team the room all of a sudden felt really small. “My dear we’re werewolves I’m the Alpha of the Nighthawk pack. You have been living amongst werewolves the whole time. I’m sure you have notice that there were some things different about us?” He looks at me questioningly. That made me think about all the strange and weird things that I have seen from the growling, eye color change, and the way the people reacted when Kahi spoke. It all made sense but not really because they're no such thing as fucking werewolves damn it. Seeing me doubt even my own thoughts. The man seems to be tired of trying to convince me.

He turns and looks at Razor “Shift little pup.” Razor whines and backs up afraid. I step over to protect him. But the man never moved, his eyes change color again “I said shift!” He sneered. All of a sudden Razor whined even louder and right before my eyes in what felt like minutes but was less then 10 seconds Razor went from wolf to tiny little boy. “WHAT IN THE ENTIRE HELL!” I said without thinking. Razor looks at me with Sadness in his eyes. Me still in open mouth open shock he reaches for my hand, and I snatched it away from him and then yelling in pain because I completely forgot my arm was fucked up and I’m sure that I just ripped a couple of stitches. Looking at me crying. “I sorry LaLa please don’t hate me.” Razor said through tears. I come out of my stupor looking at his face and gave him a small smile. “It’s ok sweetie I was just shocked that’s all. I never seen a boy turn into a Wolf before. I could never hate you sweet boy.” I said meaning every word.

Although I’m still freaked the fuck out. I know Razor was just a baby. I see relief spread across his face at my words. Out the corner of my eye I see movement and I’m back on high alert my grip on my blade tightens. Although I know I can’t win I know somebody getting sliced before I go down. Seeing me focus and scan the room. “Miss Nelson, we don’t want to hurt you we just need you to come with us so we can have a little chat about why your blood seems to contain something that can harm us.” “Look I don’t know what you’re talking about therefore we have nothing to chat about and I damn sure know I’m not going anywhere with you. That makes absolutely no kind of sense,” I said as I got into a ready position to defend any attack. My head is fucking spinning and I feel like I’m about to vomit again. I have not been feeling well at all. I’m sure it’s because I may have been sneaking trying to walk on my own when no one was looking.

Look I hate being a burden so I wanted to get back to my old self and I couldn’t do that sitting in bed. I had the army crawl thing down pack. Focusing back on the men in the room. Trying to figure out how many of them I can hurt bad before they take my ass out. Looking back at the Alpha he’s still smiling, which is pissing me off, werewolf or not he’s not about to think I'm just gonna let him take me. “Funny your cousins said the same thing when we pick them up earlier.” “What the fuck did you just say?” I asked stepping towards the alpha pointing my blade to his chest. His men instantly stepping forward, but a wave of his hands stops them. “Oh, maybe I should have led with that huh. Yea I paid a visit to the hotel to pick them up before coming here.” My heart started beating fast and I was starting to panic. “Where is my cousins what did you do to them.” I asked getting pissed.

“I haven’t done anything to them. I’m no animal. Oh well that’s not true I am an animal, but I’m socialized. They put up a hell of a fight I must say. I hope we can do this without any more bloodshed. You can just come with me, and no one has to get hurt.” He said like that was a good offer. Looking at Summer and her goon smiling enjoying the fucking show. I know they’re responsible for whatever is going on. I wish I could just get 5 minutes with them and my blade. “This is all your doing, isn’t it? I swear if anything happens to my cousins, I will kill you wolf bitch.” “Yea I doubt that you will never step foot back on my land ever again. I told you to stay away from my mate. I knew you were bad news the moment his mother mentioned you humans. But now Kahi will see that I was right and whatever you were doing to cloud his judgment will be gone and he will see that I was right.” She said proudly. Boy I really hate that bitch. “You did all this over a dude. That’s pathetic even for you. Sad part you doing this only proves that you don’t think he loves you as much as you love him and you’re willing to still mate him knowing all this.” I said laughing when she again tries to come at me. I was really hoping she broke loose because I promise I would make sure she bled out.

Turning back to the Alpha. Who was eyeing me with interest and something that look like desire? Giving him a disgusted look so he understands I am not interested at all. He ignores the look and steps towards me again. “I must say you do interest me Miss Nelson I can see why the Alpha was interested in you.” He said reaching out to touch my braids, but I pull my head back avoiding his touch. “Uncle can you please just get her out of here already. I’m tired of looking at her fat ass.” Summer said right before she screamed when I sent my blade flying in her direction so close to her head that it nicked her cheek and cut some of her hair before it landed in the door frame. I smiled even though I was aiming for her mouth. I shrugged I hadn’t trained in two weeks, so my aim was off. Turning back to the Alpha I had no choice but to go with him since he had my cousins. “I’ll go with you. Just take me to my cousins.” I said as I walked slowly in order to keep my balance, I had no idea how I was walking at all without looking drunk it must be adrenaline.

Feeling a tug on my shirt I looked down to see Razor crying pulling me back. “Do go with the bad man LaLa you’re sick you can't go.” Looking at him gently. “Sweetie don’t worry about me I’ll be ok. I’m just going to talk with the alpha. Once everything is all cleared up. I’ll be back ok.” I said removing his hand from my shirt.” Luckily, he just nodded and cried silently. I walked slowly out of the bedroom door and out the front door there was a crowd forming outside as a walked pass some people growled at me as I passed, and some looked like they feared me. But I didn’t dare show how scared I was. I just needed to make sure my cousins were safe before I broke down and freaked out.
