Makahi’s POV:

“Makahi please don’t make promises you can’t keep I heard how strong a marked and mated wolf bond is. For my own sanity and the emotional well-being of our children I have to let you go Kahi. It’s not healthy to hope for something that will never happen. We both just have to move on with our lives, that means you with Summer and your child.” She said. I had to suppress a growl at the thought of another male touching her. I would kill them. She came into my pack and made everything we know to be true and impossible false and possible. I just hoped to the moon goddess that I can fix this before I lose her completely. “Let’s just talk about all this later.” I said pulling her close to me I was glad she didn’t push me away. With half my body off the bed we were nearly face to face. When she snuggled even closer to me, moving her head closer to my neck where my mate mark should be. Feeling her breathe on my neck, I groaned fighting Maka who was going crazy wanting to mark her, and she us. My lips are so close to her neck that I feel the heat from it. I could feel my canine trying to extend, which is a natural reaction when you find your other half. I had to basically force my canines out to mark Summer, because Maka refused to mark her. Breathing in her scent made me feel completely at peace. Rubbing her belly to feel my pups, I will find a way to make things right.

A few hours later, her contractions seem to be getting more intense, because I had to push a little more of my aura in order to ease the pain. That could only mean she’ll be ready to push soon. She mentioned that she hadn’t had a chance to prepare for our pups, so I mind linked one of my omega females, to get everything she will need, and move it into the house they stayed in when they first got here. I was about to say also get things for my mother’s house as well, but I didn’t because I know my mother has brought somebody’s store out. I could only imagine the bill she made buying things. I thought, Smiling shaking my head. All of a sudden, I hear shouting, growling, and loud noises outside the door. I frowned looking down at Ji’lahni she only stirred a little, but it was pissing me off who’s making a commotion right outside her door. “Montego what the hell is going on out there? Ji’lahni is trying to get some rest.” I mind linked Montego. “You need to get your ass out here, Sumner and Britney showed up demanding to be let in there to get you out. I don’t know how much longer we can hold these women off. OOHH SHIT! LYNN JUST PULLED-OUT A BLADE! GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE!" Montego mind linked.

Shit what the hell is she even doing here. I told her not to leave the pack house and I wouldn’t be back until late tonight. I didn’t want to tell her I would be here with Ji’lahni because I was sparing her feeling, I knew she would be upset about it because she wolves were almost as bad as the male wolves when it comes to females touching their mate. But this is a different kind of situation, and I was thinking Summer would understand that, but that was just stupid as Lynn would say. Hearing what sounded like a chair being pushed. I remove myself from the bed already missing her touch. She felt the lost too but settle when she moved her head and must have caught my scent because she sighed and settle back down, she was between contractions, so I had a few minutes.

Turning and heading to the door I needed to settle this fast before Ji’lahni has another contraction. Walking out of the room felt like I walked out of heaven and walked straight into hell. I see Lynn, Shawna, and Mina damn near trying to climb over Montego, Hunter, and Shadow’s head. while my dad and the Doc are holding Summer and Britney back, nobody sees me, because the girls were blocking the door. “ENOUGH!” I said pushing my Alpha command to every wolf in the room the only people it didn’t affect was my parents, and the girls, but they did stop when they heard me. Climbing down off my men, I looked at them, and nodded towards the door gesturing for them to go be with their cousin.

They gave a hateful glance at my mate, but quickly went into the room. I turn my attention back to the people left in the room. “Doc you can go back into the room to check on Ji’lahni, her contractions were more intense the last couple of times." I told him. He nodded and started towards the room. Summer rushing pass the Doc towards me putting her arms around me she stopped the Doc before he could pass me. “Kahi baby, I wanted the Doc to check on our pup to make sure everything is OK. I’m sure one of his nurses can take care of her and those babies. After all I’m the Luna now and I’m carrying your future alpha. So, I should be the docs top priority.” She whined pouting.

“Is she for real?” my mother finally said. During the whole argument between the ladies my mother was oddly silent, which if you knew my mother you would know that silence wasn’t her strong suit. I can only imagine she stayed out of it because Summer was indeed the new Luna and was probably carrying her grandchild. But Summer had to push it just a little too far. “Listen really well dear. I will let you pass with this display because you haven’t even begun your Luna training. But the first thing you should know is that as the Luna of this pack your first priority is your pack members you never put your needs and wants before the pack.” My mother stood in front of us to look Summer directly in the eye. Summer whimpered a little. She looked at me expecting me to come to her defense, but I wasn’t. Partly because I was about to say the same thing. Realizing, I wasn’t going to come to her defense. She straightened her shoulders and looked back at my mother.

“I will always look out for my pack which is what I have been trying to do for months now. As you said I should put my pack first and I will do that, but those humans aren’t apart of our pack. I’m carrying the next Alpha of this pack and he should be the docs top priority.” She said now confidently. But I know my mother. And apparently so does my father because he quickly put his arms around my mother’s waist, and I pushed Summer behind me slightly. “Listen here little girl you may be our Luna, but I will not tolerate you dismissing my First-born grand babies and their mother she and those other girls are a part of our pack and those pups are the next Alphas of Krystal moon. Now come on Doc let’s go check on my chocolate drop and my grand pups, have one of the nurses check on the Luna.” She said walking the Doc into the room with Ji’lahni.

Damn it why do I feel jealous that they are in there with her, and I’m stuck out here. I thought as I stared at the door as it closes. “Your mother can’t be serious does she really think those babies will ever be Alphas.” She said looking at me wanting me again, to take her side. But all I wanted to do was get back to Ji’lahni even with the mate bond pulling me towards Summer, it felt like I was being pulled in different directions. I uncurled her arms from around me, my body immediately protested because the bond wanted to hold and keep her close, but I fought the urge because I didn’t want to lose Ji’lahni’s scent. I looked at Summer and frowned slightly. “Why do you think my first born wouldn’t be the next Alpha of this pack.” “Come on honey you know they can’t be Alphas they’re half breeds and we can't even be sure of that. On top of the fact that they will be a lot weaker than our son. Our son will be a full-blooded Alpha. So, it will be expected that our son will be the next alpha. Besides whom will train them once they leave?” She asked. “Leave?” I asked confused. “Yes, once we banish them. I’m not going to do it right away I feel like a week is enough time for them to prepare.” Summer said shrugging her shoulder. I could hear Montego and Shadow growled lowly; they would never attack their Luna, but I know they weren’t happy with Summer saying she is planning to banish the girls. Hell, even Maka was growling in protest.

“Summer we are bonded and you’re the Luna of this pack. But understand I’m the Alpha of this pack I say who comes and goes not you. Understood?” I said, barely able to hold back my growl. “Of course, I would never do that I figured everyone knew. I mean it is the obvious next step I know you wouldn’t kill or imprison them, so the obvious next step is banishment. They committed a crime against your Luna the pack will want justice that has always been our way." Summer replied easily with what sounded like excitement. Montego and Shadow were growling louder now trying to hold back their wolves, who were trying to break free to protect their women. Just then I heard a loud scream that instantly took my attention. Looking at Montego. “Take them back to the pack house.” I said turning to go back to Ji’lahni’s room. Summer instantly grabbed my arm and Maka came forward immediately and growled which made Summer jump back in shock but quickly recovered. “Kahi, aren’t you coming back with me? I thought we could have dinner and spend some time together and finish our mating.” She said sadly like she wanted to cry. Again, that damn bond was pulling on me again this time much stronger because our mate was hurt. I stepped to her and embraced her which calmed the bond between us down.

“Listen you allow Montego to take you back to the pack house and get dinner started. Once I get things settled and squared away here, I will come home, and we can talk and have dinner, but I need to handle this first.” I said leaning down to kiss her, so she won’t feel so insecure. She sighed and nodded while Montego guided her and Britney out of the clinic. I turned with one thought in my mind that I needed to get to Ji’lahni. I burst into the room like a madman everyone looked up at me when I came in. Ji’lahni’s eyes snapped in my direction, she gave me a small, pained smile "I thought you were gone.” She said, crying I rushed to her side getting back in bed with her. Touching her belly in an effort to ease some of her pain. She immediately relaxed and sighed. “Absolutely not. I’m not going anywhere baby.” I said kissing the top of her sweaty forehead I didn’t care one bit and Maka groaned like he tasted something delicious. He can be really weird sometimes. Ji’lahni suddenly groaned loudly and said….
