Makahi POV:

What the hell was that! Maka was full speed down the tunnel barreling through wolves that seems never ending. Just as I ripped the throat out of the last pack of wolves. I rounded the corner, and finally saw the doc being held by the throat just as I saw Ji’lahni come up behind Zane who roared dropping the doc before he backhanded Ji’lahni just as she was falling Zane grabbed her by the throat lifting her feet off the ground Maka was pushing himself to the limiting trying to reach her in time horrified that we wouldn’t make it. Then all of a sudden Ji’lahni screamed and I see some sort of aura shoot from Ji’lahni’s body which should be impossible, but it was so powerful that Zane flew away from her and cracked the wall behind him. I shifted just as I reached her before she hit the ground, she landed in my arms and just like the first time I touched her it was like an electric jolt.

“Hey baby, are you OK?” I asked frantically touching and kissing her face while checking for other wounds with my hands. When I touched her belly where our pups grew, I felt their aura that was so powerful that I was speechless because it could quite possibly be the strongest, I have ever seen from an alpha baby, and they were moving like crazy, and I could hear them like they knew it was me. They were moving her belly making it look deformed and Ji’lahni groaned and frowned at their movement. I open my mind. “Hey Papa’s, here now calm down you’re hurting your momma.” I said with authority, and they immediately stopped moving. When I looked back up, Ji’lahni was staring at me. “Well, I see how this is going to go. They listen to you, but I have to beg them to listen to me.” She said rolling her eyes.

“Hey, they love their Papa.” I said smiling for the first time since she went missing. I know we should be heading out, but I needed to feel her. She smiled at me, and I broke down as tears of joy overtook me and she reached up and kissed me and just like that everything else faded away to nothing it was just me and her. “Uh Alpha we need to get moving Zane is starting to come to. I looked over at the piece of shit that touch my mate. I was handing Ji’lahni to doc about to rip that son of a bitch throat, but Ji’lahni groaned in pain again and I knew I needed to get her out of here. Turning to the doc I hand him the belt from around my neck that Lynn gave me then I shifted. The doc secured Ji’lahni on Maka and we were racing out of there less than two minutes later.

We hear Zane roared so loud the floor trembled. Maka hated running from a fight, but he knew getting Ji’lahni out of here was more important. “I found them we’re heading out with Zane hot on our tails get the girls out of here let hunter take them back to the chopper, so Zane won’t get any ideas.” I mind linked the team who waited at the exit. My ears picked up Zane’s paws gaining on us. The doc was right on my heels his wounds were already mostly healed. “Doc, I need you to take Ji’lahni get to the exit Zane is gaining on us and I’m the only one who is strong enough to kill him.” I mind linked Doc then stopped while he unstrapped Ji’lahni and shift so she could climb on his wolf I strapped her down and went to shift before I could she grabbed me and kissed me again.

“Be safe.” I nodded and allowed Maka to once again take control. He was feral with the need of revenge and to protect our mate and our pups, but he was also very calm and void of emotion which was a little unnerving. I allowed him complete control because an Alpha must trust his wolf they were one and chosen by the moon goddess herself. Realizing that I loved that woman and would happily die to keep her safe I thought. “Me too.” Maka responded as we once again raced to the exit.

ZANE POV:

“RRROOOAAARRR. Bring me our guest to the east corridor NOW!” I Sneered mind linking to my guards. As I shifted to my wolf Orgon I raced in the direction of my future mate. I don’t know what the hell just happened. I never meant to hurt her but when she stabbed me Orgon reacted before I could hold him back. Orgon could be a little feral but usually I could control his outburst but with Ji’lahni she weakens me and drives me crazy with her fiery spirit. When my niece first contacted me to get rid of the humans. I dismissed the idea until she told me about what happened to the rogue who attacked one of the humans, which intrigued me, so I agreed to help my niece. I could care less about my niece and her drama, but the humans were a mystery. I wanted to see if I could use them to speed up my plans.

But when I laid eyes on Ji’lahni I immediately became taken with her. When my men surrounded her, we could smell her fear, but she still held her ground and even almost took my niece’s eye out. Right then my plan changed, well slightly at least. I knew that I wanted her to be my mate. But Alpha Makahi stood in my way at every turn… It’s time to end this once and for all. Rounding the corner at full speed I finally have them in my sights. The alpha glances back and spots me. Just then I see him slow down while the doc and my mate continue running to the exit. I ordered some of my men to cut them off, but I get no response. Damn it! My rage boils over and I wanted to rip the Alpha’s throat.

I slow down to a walk and shift just as I got close to Alpha Makahi. “Well, I must admit you really don’t know how to admit and accept defeat. You disrespect me by coming into my home trying to kidnap my mate. I could rip your throat out just for that.” I sneered as the alpha growled pacing back and forth ready to attack. “Oh, calm down I don’t plan to kill you, yet I have bigger plans for you son. You seem to be the only thing standing between me and my mate and killing you wouldn’t solve my problem it would only cause my mate pain and she would hate me for killing the father of her pups. You had the perfect Luna in my niece, and you just threw her away for a human.” Just then the Alpha Makahi shift to his human form.

"You know you’re a sick, twisted bastard. You do all of this because I dumped your niece. A niece you never had interest in, never a phone call or visit.” He sneered with a shake of his head. “You’re right, I don’t have no interest in my niece I could care less about what happens to her. But I’m sure you do care.” Just then my guard dragged my niece by the hair kicking and screaming. Makahi looked at Summer in shock but quickly hid his surprise. “You think I care what happens to your niece? She betrayed my pack and caused this entire situation, so I’m not sure you thought all this through, you can rip her throat out for all I care.” Makahi said shrugging nonchalantly. Summer gasped and broke down crying loudly. Turning to her “Enough!” I commanded and Summer quieted immediately.

Turning back to Makahi who wanted to appear bored with the conversation, but I know he could hear my guards coming which would mean he was outnumbered. So, I know he was about to shift so he could race for the exit where his men are sure to be waiting. I know I could take him down alone, but with his beta and his first commander, I’m no fool thinking I could take them all at once even with the two guards holding Summer. Focusing back on the Alpha I smiled. “You may not care about my niece but seeing what lengths you were willing to take for the pups Ji’lahni is carrying I’m sure you would be devastated if we were to cut your pup who's currently growing inside my niece’s belly." I smiled triumphantly as I see the shock on the Alpha's face and hear Summer cry out at the thought of me killing her pup.

Looking at the alpha shock turn back to the uncaring expression he had before. “I take it you didn’t know she was pregnant with your pup?” I asked rhetorically. “It doesn’t matter to me because you were obviously lied to because there is no way she is having my pup." He said backing away getting ready to shift. “I wouldn’t be so sure about that.” I said as I motion for my men to drag Summer forward using my alpha command. “Tell him!” Summer again started to cry looking at the Alpha pleadingly. "I'm so sorry Kahi I didn’t mean for any of this to happen you have to believe me.” She cried “Out with it.” I commended. Summer jumped back slightly as I lengthen my claws. Looking back at Makahi who was still backing away. “I’m sorry I never meant for any of this to happen, but you started pulling away from me and I got desperate.

I thought that once the humans were gone everything would go back to the way they were. When they first left and you thought they plotted to kill our entire pack, you started making promises to continue with our mating ceremony but kept blowing me off and canceling plans with me just to sit in your office and drink until you passed out. So, one night when you canceled on me yet again, I got angry and stormed to your office, but you were passed out drunk and when I pulled the blanket over you. You grabbed my wrist and pulled me to you, pressing your lips against mine. I thought you were finally coming back to me until I heard you call her name. I got so angry that I tried to push you off at first, but I was so mad at that human bitch that I decided if we slept together, you would come around and finally see that we were meant to be.

But the next day you I got up and went to the pack kitchen to get you breakfast but before I could take it up to you, you came downstairs and acted like I didn’t exist, and we just hadn’t spent the night together I felt so humiliated that I just ran out of there and didn’t say anything. But then the other human showed up and held me hostage. You acted like I meant nothing to you. You allowed her to threaten my life and get away with it you will never know how much that hurt me. So, when you left to rescue her this time around, I found out I was pregnant knowing that you already hated me and blamed me for what happened to your precious humans. I left and went to my uncles' pack after you raided it, I knew you wouldn’t come back, and my uncle was obviously not there, so I decided to go there. I didn’t know my uncle was still in contact with the pack he left behind, so I thought it was safe to see the pack doctor.

He must have informed my uncle that I was on his pack land, and I was pregnant with your pup because the next thing I know I wake up here.” Summer finished sobbing uncontrollably. I look back at the Alpha and saw he entire face change once he recalled the event that led to this moment. He looked at Summer’s belly when my men lift her shirt, so he can see the slight baby bump that already formed, because summer has always been physically fit and wolf pups grow faster than human babies. I smiled happily when he growled and clinched his fist ready to attack the men who jerk Summer back roughly. Good just the reaction I was looking for I knew his weakness. He will do anything to protect his pup. Which is why I don’t plan to kill him I plan to make it impossible for him to be with Ji’lahni in any way. She will come running back to me, all I had to do is be patient.

Clearing my throat to get his attention. “Now that we have all that cleared up. The only way to save your pup’s life is to mark my dear niece here which should be no problem since she was supposed to be your mate and Luna anyway.” I finished and shrug dismissively. “You’re out of your mind let her go now before I rip your throat out. If anyone one of you touch her or my pup you will die slow.” Makahi snarled. “Now, now alpha I’m trying to avoid killing you and my pregnant niece but if you refuse you honestly leave me no choice.” I said easily as my claws lengthens and Summer begins to scream and fight my guards who were dragging her to me. I really didn’t want to kill my niece, but I would if it meant hurting Makahi for causing me so many problems and interfering with my plans. Oh well.
