Shadow’s POV:

“Rane was at full speed trying to find Shawna they must have moved her because she wasn’t in the room that I left her in. Rane immediately caught the girls’ scent and went in the direction of Shawna. We needed to see that she was ok. That scream was one of a pain that was usually followed by death. Just as I was about to go through the surgery room door her cousin came out. Rane had to turn his body and almost went through a wall. The alpha and Beta were right behind me, their paws sliding across the clinic floors. “Damn, what the hell is going on yall act like the building is on fire.” Ji’lahni said, as we shifted back to human form.

“What the hell happened in here. Why the hell didn’t you tell me that a Dragon shifter was going to be on my pack land there are guidelines and rules in place that has to be followed by all shifters.” The alpha said his aura on full blast and has all the nurses baring their necks, but the women only stared at him. “You knew we asked Lynn to call her brother to come to the pack to save Shawna. They didn’t have to help us, but they did and at the expense of Lynn having to see her siblings who she hasn’t seen or talk to in years. If we could have picked up a phone and said hey the Dragon shifter is here, then we would have. We didn’t know that they would just show up.

“The dragon said she was in pretty bad shape, but she should be ok. Her and the baby will share his essence, but he doesn’t know to what extinct Shawna will only have his essence while she is pregnant, but he the baby my always carry his essence because of how tiny and new the pregnancy is.” Lynn explained to me. I didn’t know how to feel about Shawna and my pup carrying the essence of a dragon shifter, but if that was the only way to save them I will just have to deal with it. “I need to see her.” I said pleadingly. They looked like they were about to tell me to go to hell. “You can see her but understand that if you let your mate look in her direction and you don’t protect Shawna and our baby, we will kill you and her. Lynn has a blade, and she isn’t afraid to use it.” Ji’lahni said and I nodded and headed directly to where her scent was the strongest.

When I went into the dark room, I could see Shawna laying on the bed so peacefully the wires were gone, and she just looked like she was sleeping all her color was back and she looked healthy. I came close to her and inhaled her scent and sighed when I didn’t smell the dragon on her. I placed a kiss on her forehead and moved to your belly where our pup grew and placed my head on her stomach. Hey buddy it’s poppa, I told you that you would be just fine your momma wasn’t going to let anything happen to you. And I promise I will do whatever I can to make sure you and her are safe while she rests and gets all better. I said kissing her tummy lightly. I then moved in bed beside Shawna gently pulled her into my arms and closed my eyes feeling as peace for the first time since this happened.

The Master’s POV:

“So, once we get the green light we attack and get the babies out of there. That is our main focus get the babies those babies by any means necessary we will go in from the back in a sneak attack. We know where the babies are so we take out the guards and then get the babies who ever is guarding them kill them don’t leave no witness they can’t know who is behind this. Once we have the twins, we move out immediately we can’t risk the alpha catching up to us.” Said to my soldiers and they all nodded knowing was bullshit. I turned around and so the pup was gone. Running to the alpha and to tell him my master plan. I smiled because that was easier than I thought.

“Now we need to move out we will be heading through the from gate while they are protecting the back of the territory. This is a recovery operation to get Shaid out of there and take that Pregnant human. That baby will have to do until I can get my hands on the twins. Which will happen very soon. Either the alpha give me the twins, or I will wipe out his entire pack while his bitch of a mother watched as I kill her son and her grand pups once I drained them of their power of course. I opened my mind so that Shaid will be able to talk to me. So, I know when to attack. “Ok let’s get in position Shaid will let us know when to attack.” I said as we got in position and waited for the sign to attack.

Shaid’s POV:

“For the last time. I didn’t eat the rat I killed it so it wouldn’t bite me while I slept.” I said for the thousandth time. “Whatever I know what I saw. You did kill it, but it was with your mouth.” Summer said making the gagging sound. I rolled my eyes as I heard talking coming from up front. “That’s weird they usually don’t change shifts for another hour. I wonder what’s going on?” The girl that calls herself Brittney said getting up from her bed to see if she could see what was happening. “I got a little excited it was probably Shadow coming to get me out of here.” I was disappointed seeing it was just another guard. I turned around to head back to my corner. “Hawk, what the hell are you doing down here you don’t guard the cellars.” The she-wolf named Brittany said to the guard that came in.

“Yea, uh the alpha wanted me to bring this prisoner up for questioning.” The guard said nervously. “Well why not just have one of the guards on duty bring her up?” The pregnant she-wolf asked coming to stand at the bars. “Uh because we are on lock don’t and he didn’t want to leave the cellars unprotected, so he just sent me.” He said with the keys shaking nervously in his hand. Now I am looking at him suspiciously. What is he really the doing here? “What the hell are you really doing down here Hawk Kahi would never send a patrol guard down to get a prisoner?” The pregnant she-wolf asked, squinting at the guard suspiciously.

What the hell is really going on, why is this guard really here? Is he coming to kill me or something worse. I tensed up ready to fight him to the death before I let him touch me. “I don’t know what you think you’re going to do when you open this door, but you will have to kill me if you think I will let you touch me.” I said, getting into a fighting stance. The guard looked up suddenly, afraid. He looked around before he said in a whisper. The Master sent me to get you out of here.” He said as he opened the do. I felt a wave of relief come over me my master is finally here to get me the hell out of here. “I immediately pushed open the door as soon as the guard turned. “Hey, wait let us go too, we could help you get out of here we know how to leave undetected. Come on, get us out of here. I looked at the two she wolves. They may be of use to me if I need to think of a plan b. I nodded at the guard.

No, the master only said to get you out of here no one else just you.” The guard said shaking his head like he was about to pass out with fear. “I said release them they may be of some use to me I need to get into the clinic and get the injured human woman out of here and they may be able to help me with that.” I said as I thought of a plan. “Yea we can help you get in and out of the clinic without being seen.” The she-wolf said excitedly. “Uh, speak for yourself I’m not leaving these cells he has already promised not to kill me for my crimes. If I go with you, I will surely forfeit my life either way so I’m better off with an alpha I do know rather than an evil master I don’t. Brittney said, backing away from the bars to sit back on her cot. “Never mind her let her rot in here for all I care. She can go down with the rest of them once I get my revenge on that fat bitch. “Find hurry up and let's go. If you slow me down or hinder my escape in any way, I won’t hesitate to kill you myself.” I said as I headed out of the dungeon to freedom.
