The Announcement!

While towards the room number that the Doc mind linked me earlier to let me know the room was ready. Holding my pups felt so surreal. I’m a father and I knew I would have children one day because it’s expected that Alpha’s have an heir to pass down the role of Alpha to when it’s time for them to step down. It generally takes decades since we age really slow compared to humans. Looking at my pups I didn’t know their future, yet they seem to have abilities that no other alpha pups have ever had. I plan to find out how special they are, but it had to be done privately because It could be dangerous if everyone knew they had special abilities I would kill anyone who look to harm them. Maka and I said almost at the same time. They’re the most important thing in my life.

Walking into Ji’lahni’s room I was hit with a sea of emotions her color had come back and she looked so peaceful now, but her lively spirit was missing, and it left the room lifeless. But I refuse to have that energy in here I’ll make sure that only positive happy energy at all times I’ll talk to her all the time make sure the babies' bond with her. The first thing to do was getting them fed. I don’t know how but we will figure it out. Walking to the bassinet I put them each in their bassinet and they immediately started to cry in protest. I hurriedly drop the arms on Ji’lahni’s and my bed and push the beds together I then grabbed the pups, who were crying their eyes out once they were back in my arms, they immediately quieted I smiled. They’re spoiled already.

Climbing onto the bed I placed Tru in Ji’lahni’s arm which she sniffed and immediately snuggled into her mother’s arms I had to repositioned Ji’lahni away from the edge and line it with pillows so the pup wouldn’t roll off. I then went to the other said and placed Beah in her other arm and she did the same thing her sister did and snuggled closer and I laid down and wrapped them all in my arms which I could have sworn I heard Ji’lahni sigh and relaxed like she knew we were altogether as a family. I felt completely at peace to have them in my arms finally it felt like home.

A nurse came in and interrupt our family time. I growled at the intrusion the nurse immediately stopped in her tracks and bared her neck. “Sssoossoorry alpha the doc told me that he wanted to start our Luna breastfeeding he says it could help her come out of her coma.” The nurse said quietly. I nodded. “No, my apologies I’m a little on edge please come in the pups are very hungry they’ve had a rough few hours of birth.” I said getting up in order to assist I wanted to learn how to do this so I wouldn’t have nurses in and out every 2 hours and the babies seems to have the ability to push their alpha aura on the omega wolves.

“I will help you I want to learn how to do this myself. I want you to teach her cousins and my mother as well. That way we won’t take up the staff’s time.” I said, to the nurse who nodded. “Yes, Alpha I’ll make sure they all know what to do I will also teach you how to pump her breast in order to bottle feed them." She said holding up a machine. She picked up Tru who immediately began to cry at being taking away from his mother I immediately saw the change in the nurse she looked at me frighten assuming it was me who was commending her, baring her neck to me “Alpha I apologize I didn’t know you didn’t want anyone touching the babies.” She immediately began putting Tru back into her mother’s arm. “No, it’s fine I’m sorry please lift her again.” I said releasing some of my aura and when she lifted her up again, she began to cry but this time the nurse didn’t have the same reaction.

So apparently me, my parents and my beta will have to always be near when the nurses handle the twins, I sent out private mind link to them including the doc to make them aware of the situation so we can formulate a schedule to make sure someone is around at all times. I headed back to the nurse as she laid the twins in a bassinet together which they stopped crying, maybe that’s why they were crying earlier when I put them down, they want to be near each other. I made a mental know of that as well. Caring for them is going to be a full-time job there’s so many things I have to do. The nurse was raising Ji’lahni bed slightly as I walked over to the bed, I separated the beds so I could get a closer look. She lifted her gown over her breast but placed a blanket over them. I will admit I was disappointed she covered them up.

She then lifts Ji’lahni’s arm and placed a big pillow that looked like the letter U. She explained that the pillow is used to help mothers breastfeed comfortably. She used extra pillows under it because in this case the pillow needed to provide full support. I mimic the same actions on my side. Once she was done, she checked my side to make sure it was secure she gave me a thumbs up. We each grabbed a pup and she place Beah in Ji’lahni’s arm and lift the blanket covering her breast and position Beah close to her nipple and Beah sniffed and immediately opened her mouth greedily and latched to Ji’lahni’s breast and started sucking taking long pulls. The nurse chuckled looking at Beah sucking like she was starving. The way she was sucking it looked like it would hurt if Ji’lahni was awake. I glanced at her to see if she had any type of reaction, but she didn’t. The nurse came to my side as I put Tru in Ji’lahni’s arm and lift the blanket uncovering her breast with shaky hands I adjusted Tru closer to her breast and she did just as her sister did.

She sniffed and immediately latched onto her nipple. Then we made sure that they wouldn’t disconnect if they wiggled, she showed me how to use the breast pump to store milk, so we don’t have to setup the bed every two hours she recommended we allow them to breastfeed from Ji’lahni three to four times a day and uses a bottle the other times and throughout the night. She also said to allow them to feed for thirty minutes but birth them in between to prevent gas. I was feeling overwhelmed with everything a pup needed. I had to make sure I thanked my mother the next time I see her because she was the real Alpha in our family no wonder my dad adores her and gives her whatever she wants he always told me being an alpha with the wars and day to day, is nothing compared to being a mother and I finally understand what he meant.

The nurse stayed for the burping in between feeding and said she will be back to check on us in an hour after I reassured her, I could handle the last burping. I sat down watching my pups feed from their mother and felt my emotions starting to take over once again. But luckily my mom and dad came in with loads and loads of stuff prepared to transform the room to make it homier. All I could do is nod my head in thanks my parents have always had my back and I can’t thank them enough. They demanded that I go take a shower informed the pack that my dad would be taking over and also to eat a proper meal that my mother had the cooks at the pack house prepare which should be done by the time I finished. I protested of course but it was a losing battle after my mother threaten to whack my bottom because apparently, I’m not too old or big to not still get my bottom wacked.

I sighed in defeat kissed all my girls before I left my parents who were completely ignoring me and cooing over the babies. Dad said he would come by when the other ladies get there. They were all at the pack house now they decided to move in there to be closer to the clinic. Which I didn’t mind when Montego asked. I figured Lynn would have been there because that’s where all single members lived until they found their mates.
