Makahi POV:

"Damn it!" I yelled slamming the phone down. "What the hell is going on Kahi.?" Montego asked him and Shadow came into my office. "I just got a call from one of our scouts we have watching my uncles pack, they said they got wind of rogues that maybe heading their way and they went to check it out and said that they were at least 50 rogues about a day’s run away and they seem to be heading in the direction of my uncles pack. "Shit!" They both said in unison. "Shadow get three of our vans and two of our bandwagons and gather twenty-five of our warriors and have them ready to head out that should be enough to add to my uncles' warriors to help fight the rogues.

But we need to get the girls out of the pack before the rogues hit if they find out that the girls are there, I know for sure Zane will show up and that will be a big fucking problem. With the upgrades in security and our bunkers along with the new warriors that have joined our pack it will be better for them to come here. I wanted to go and try and convince them to come back but now it seems as though the choice isn't theirs to make anymore. I will call my uncle first so he can prepare his people and get the girls packed and ready to head out as soon as we get there." I said to Montego. " Are you going to call the girls yourself or are you going to allow your uncle to tell them?" Montego asked. "No. I will call them and tell them myself. My uncle will just confirm what I tell them and help explain why it's for the best that they come back." I said picking up my phone to call my uncle.

The phone rang three times before my uncle picked up. "Hey brother n law. My grandnieces aren't here so you can stop thinking I'm trying to make them love me more then you because they already love their uncle Felix more." My uncle said answering the phone with a mocking laugh. "Hey uncle it's me." "Oh, hey nephew I thought it was your big head daddy. I didn't know you were back I'm glad that you're safe. I take it you're calling me to let me know you're coming my way soon?" He asked. "Yes, but I also have important new I need to tell you about the rogue attacks we have been fighting lately." I said, seriously. "I'm listening son what's going on?" He said immediately going into alpha mode.

I told him about what we found out about these rogue attacks and that it seems to be a big plan that Alpha Zane has created and us thinking it has to do with getting to Ji’lahni and my pups. Once I was finished, I could hear his low growl. "Over my dead body will he touch my family especially those precious pups. You have my word." He all but bellowed causing the phone to vibrate on my end. "I never doubted you wouldn't protect them with your life. We have upgraded our bunkers and increased our warriors here, so I am going to bring twenty-five of our warriors to help protect your pack and I want to get my family out of there and here before the rogues reach your pack. I don't want Zane to know that they are there that would be really bad. You and your beta can come up with a game plan and me and my men will follow your lead after the girls are out safely." I said waiting on his response.

"That sounds like a good idea I will get on the preparation right now and will have things ready to execute once you arrive. Should I tell the girls or are you going to?" my uncle asked. "I want to break the news to them first. But you can talk to them afterwards. I'm going to call them in the next half hour I have to make plans here before I tell them." "OK I will just talk to them at dinner time then." My uncle said. We talked and planned for a few more minutes before I hung up the phone. "Well, I'm going to go and prepare for our departure. We should be ready to roll out in a couple of hours." Shadow said. As he got up and headed to the door. He has been quiet the whole time which wasn't unusual but what was unusual was his wolf seemed to be at the forefront more often lately.

I know he claimed that Shawna wasn't his second chance mate and he was reluctant to go with us this past month and I didn't force him because he asked for leave before all this happened, but he decided that if Zane was behind this attack then that meant that Shawna was also in danger as well so he decided to go with us to help these other packs and try to figure out what the hell Zane had planned so we can stop him and protect the girls. "Yea. I'm going to make sure the girls house is secure and all the upgrades we added are working properly and also get the omegas to stock the house with everything they need in case we have to lock it down as well and gather the warriors who will be on guard with them at all times and make sure they have a shift planned out so we can make sure they the girls will be untouchable at all times." Montego also said getting up preparing to leave.

"OK great. I will talk to my mom and dad. I think they will also want to stay in the house with the girls as added protection rather than going to our bunkers in case of emergency. I will also have to talk to Summer I really want to make sure she and brit don't cause any more trouble I really don't need the added drama." I sighed, not even wanting to tell Summer the plans. I already know this is about to be a fight. "Yea. Good luck with that. I don't want to be you, my brother." Montego said as he shut the door behind him. I took a deep breath before I head to my room. There was no need to prolong the inevitable. I took a swig of my top self-Hennessey I brought back with me and headed into the she wolf's den. Entering our bedroom, it was completely dark, but I can see the slim figure laying on the bed.

I knew she was awake because when she's asleep she snores lightly. I decided to sit on the edge of the bed to keep my distance even though the mate bond is screaming for me to lay beside her and embrace her sweet scent. I really did miss her, and I won't lie and say I don't want her at all, but it is just something that isn't there some kind of disconnect. I automatically reached out and caress her lightly. I couldn’t help myself I needed that touch which calmed me in some way. I took a deep breath. "Summer baby, we need to talk. She groaned and turned on the bedside lamp. I frowned because she looked pale and in pain. I immediately got closer to her and pulled her into my arms." Baby what's going on what's wrong? Should I get doc? Is it the pup?" I asked concerned.

"No, No. I have just been a little sick that's all. I have been having a little cramping on and off lately. But they said it may be stress and I need to lay down. The doc isn't here he left to one of the specialty labs a couple of days ago he should be back in a few days, since your Humans are no longer here, he allowed Britney to handle things while he's away." She said wincing a little. "You said you needed to talk what is it?" "Yea. I wanted to let you know what is going on with jilah..." I was trying to say but she cut me off. "Kahi, I told you I'm not feeling well do we really have to talk about your mistakes now. I really don't want to be stressed out about them. You have already embarrassed me enough today at the dinner do you really need to beat me down some more." Summer said shifting away from me.

"Yes, we do there have been some changes that has just come up, so I want to make sure you're aware of them." I said adamantly. "Fine. I feel like I have to pee....OUCH!" Summer gasped. I immediately moved to help her as she tried to get up. "Hey, hey baby what's wrong?" "I don't know Kahi." she said her voice trembling. She pulled back the covers and all I see is blood. "OMG! KAHI I'M BLEEDING OMG! MY PUP KAHI." "SHIT WE HAVE TO GET YOU TO THE CLINIC.!" "NO, NO, NO I DON'T WANT TO MOVE! GET BRITNEY HERE NOW PLEASE HURRY TELL HER To COME HERE PLEASE I DON'T WANT TO LOSE OUR PUP PLEASE KAHI!" "OK BABY BRITNEY IS ON HER WAY JUST CALM DOWN EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OK. JUST DON'T MOVE OUR PUP IS OK.!" I said to Summer and prayed the moon goddess.

I know I haven't had a real connection with the pup she's carrying but my heart ached at the thought of losing my pup. I felt like shit because I haven't tried to put in any time with Summer or even asked how she was doing earlier. I feel like shit I have been so focused on getting Ji’lahni and my pups back that I have neglected my pup that's growing inside Summers' belly... Just then Brittany busted in the door with some equipment and ushered me out while she checks on Summer and our pup. I was pacing the hallway outside of our bedroom when Montego and Shadow walked up to our room. "How is our Luna and your pup?" Montego asked sincerely.

"I don't know I have been out here since I mind linked you forty-five minutes ago. I'm so fucked up man. I didn't even bother to ask how she was doing or even asked about our pup since we got back. I feel like shit. It isn't Summer or my pups' fault that we are in this situation to begin with. I have spent so much time trying to avoid her and trying to remove the mates mark that I neglected my pup. Now she may lose him." "Hey man don't think like that if he's anything like his dad he's a fighter and so is Luna. They will both be fine." Montego said patting me on the back. "Alpha everything is set and ready to go. Me and Montego can handle everything and return the girls and your pups safely. It seems as though you're needed here." Shadow said. I was about to open my mouth to refuse but just then Brittany came out and called me in the room where Summer was. Sighing in defeat. I need to make Summer and my pup a priority as well. Nodding my head.

"Go but keep me informed of everything you're doing and let me know when you have the girls safely on their way back here." I said and they nodded and headed out to leave for the trip to my uncle's pack. Taking a deep breath, I really need to handle this situation because it feels like I'm being pulled in two different directions. But for right now I will just have to figure it out later. I said to myself walking back into my bedroom with Summer.
