Ji’lahni’s POV:

“Hey Fiona, hey Raz. What are you guys doing here.” Sorry we came by so late, but this little guy heard you guys were back, so he just had to come see his god sisters and also, we wanted to share our cookies that Raz made just for you guys. Although the guys on the front porch attacked the whole plate.” Fiona said while walking past Lynn into the house. “I know they didn’t try to eat all the damn cookies from everybody. That’s why I hope y’all choke.” I said, coming down the stairs as Mina was taking the plate from Fiona. Shadow reached over her shoulder to grab six cookies off the plate.

“Hey man! We want some too. You know I liked you better when we thought you were a killer.” I said, following Mina with the plate. “Hey Shawna, is in the shower so I want to make sure she gets some cookies before they’re all gone.” Shadow said with a smile. “Yeah, yeah make sure she gets her share, or I won’t make that cheesecake you love so much.” Fiona said, smacking his shoulder as he passed her, going back up the stairs where Shawna was. “Hey, come on Raz the girls are sleeping, but if you can promise to be very quiet, I’ll let you see them and give them a little kiss deal?” I asked, “No, no, if the girls are sleeping, we could just come back some other time I didn’t realize it was that late.” Fiona said a bit nervously.

“No, it’s fine they will be up soon for a feeding anyway they’re like clockwork.” I said as I pick Raz up carrying him up the stairs to my bedroom. “Hey, I’m a big boy I could walk you know.” Raz said with a pout. “I know but I missed you so much and just wanted to hug you while we walk to my room to see the girls. But I’ll put you down if you want to.” I said with the pout. “No! I miss you too so you can carry me just this once, deal?” He asked. Hugging him tightly to me. “Deal.” I smiled as he wrapped his little arms around my neck.

Shawna’s POV: sometime after midnight

I know Shadow's upset that I locked him out of the bathroom. But I needed to soak this body without getting poked. That man and the things he can do to my body should be illegal, but I would still let him break the law. I thought, smiling. No one knew the type of man Shadow truly was, and the things he’s been through especially when he lost his mate. He often says he sometimes still feels the connection like it’s not completely broken but he knows she’s dead he watched her die. He thought he would die or go rogue like most wolves who lost their mates, but after two years he was still sane and so was his wolf, so once he returned and the doctor cleared him for battle, he went back to his old duties a changed man and wolf until he met me. He tried to deny his attraction for me.

He didn’t want to feel anything for me at first, because it felt like he was betraying his mate. But he admitted that my womanly powers along with being kidnapped broke down his defenses. I smile at the thought. He told me when me and my cousins were taken that was when he realized that he and Rane his wolf cared deeply for me, and after that night they rescued us, Shadow never stopped showing me how much he cared for me IN EVERY WAY! Which is another reason I locked his ass out. I’ve been feeling a little off lately, and I wasn’t going to ignore the signs. Which is why I had to sneak a pregnancy test, and it confirmed what I already knew I was f****** pregnant.

I don’t know how I’m feeling about it right now, so I need to talk to my cousins ASAP. We always talk everything important thing out just to clear our heads and to think clearly using reality logic and common sense. That was how we survived. I know Shadow cares for me, and I must admit I feel the same. “Honestly I actually think I love him.” I said out loud to myself for the first time. Once all this drama was over and done, I’m going to tell him everything. I said smiling. I hopped out the tub and toweled myself off putting on some leggings and a tank top. “Hey babe.” I said walking into our bedroom stopping when I see Shadow sleeping with cookie crumbs all over his chest walking over to him taking one of the crumbs to taste as I sweep the rest on the floor.

I immediately gagged shaking my head, this damn baby already messing up because I love cookies. I heard something downstairs which wasn’t strange what was strange however was I also realized it was super quiet, like eerily quiet, which only never happens I mean never in our house it’s always soft music or a TV playing just like some people will run a fan all day 24/7 that’s us. Grabbing my utility belt snapping in my waist just in case. It has my knives and throwing stars fully loaded always ready. Stepping out of the room silently, not really worried about anything but I’m always the just in case type of person.

Ever since our family died that night, I always blamed myself for ignoring when I thought I smelled something like electric smoke or like the smell from a toaster when you haven’t used it for a really long time, I dismissed it as nothing and later that night me, Jelani and Mina had escaped out of our bedroom window as the house went up in flames killing our entire family. Shaking away those sad memories I walked to Ji’lahni’s room opening the door just to get a peek of my babies. I love them as if they were mine and that won’t change because I’m having my own, I figured I would just sneak in and kiss their little cheeks, but they weren’t in their crib which was strange because Ji’lahni don’t miss not one nap.

Which was also strange where the hell is everybody that’s when I start to panic. I raced downstairs just as I saw a small figure look back at me in shocked and raced out of the door with the girls crying in her arms. That’s when I realized everyone was laid out on the floor, and all I could do was scream in rage and anger as I race after the person who may have just killed the only family I had left from my childhood and then took the only family that I will have left, but I will die before I let her take them. “Stop you fucking bitch!” I said as I threw a throwing star near her head careful not to actually hit her, I threw it at the tree next to her, just to throw her off balance the bitch was fast.

I can tell she was not used to holding one baby let alone two, who are now crying and angry and I’m sure using their aura to slow her down. I bet they didn’t count on the baby’s being able to use their power at will. “Thank you babies Auntie’s coming just keep it up.” I yelled hoping they hear me. The bitch all of a sudden looked back at me shocked that I was still running shit I was shocked to I’m quite sure if you could see me, you would think I was about to die. The bitch stopped running turning around putting the girls down near a tree. She dropped her knives to the ground.

“Oh, so that’s what we're doing. You think I’m about to fight you with no weapons bitch. You’re a wolf do I look stupid to you, you putting your weapon down just made it almost fair if you hadn’t had me run ten damn blocks, I might've have had a shot, so I’m keeping my shit and even if you don’t.” I said trying to buy me some oxygen time, but home girl wasn’t the typical I’m going to tell you my plan type. “Well as always Lynn, I’m gone be pissed if I fucking die. I said right before this bitch jumped in the air flipped coming right at my face with her leg. Welp! Ji’lahni always says if you getting your ass whipped just make sure that you leave your signature somewhere that person will always remember you when they look in the mirror and see the scar you put there…So yeah, I’m about to get my ass whipped in case yall still confused.

Maka and Makahi’s POV: Hearing cries.

“Pups are in trouble, get up MAKAHI. Pups are in trouble WAKE UP!” Maka roar in my mind. I jumped up with the start dazed and Confused head pounding looking around all my men were out of it. “Makahi the pups are in trouble.” Maka yelled pacing pushing to be released. That’s when I finally heard their cries God damn it! We’re under attack I hopped up and shifted it in the blink of an eye.

“Maka, I need everybody up now use your Alpha command NOW!” I yelled, and without question I felt our power at full strength when he howled. “GET UP WE’RE UNDER ATTACK PROTECT YOUR FUTURE ALPHA’S NOW!” He yelled his command as he went into a dead run knowing his pups are already out of the house. He was angry almost feral, and I allowed him full control no one will take my pups and live. I thought as we spotted Rogues heading our way.
