Makahi POV:

"Don't you agree sweetie?" Summer said putting her hand in mine. I had no idea what she just said I couldn't tear my eyes away from Ji'lahni. I was furious that she allowed Hunter to touch her. I wonder what else they have done. Did she let him kiss or something more I asked myself getting more and more pissed thinking about it. "OUCH! YOU'RE HURTING MY HAND!" Summer yelled. "Oh sorry. Montego just got some news of another rogue attack." I said, which wasn't a total lie there was another attack, but I knew about it already. "Oh, my goddess where? is everyone ok?" My mother asked ever the loving Luna. "It was Alpha Brannan's pack. There were no wolves lost but some were injured pretty badly." I said trying to focus on the task at hand. "Oh, that's sad, we should reach out to see if they need anything honey." My mother said and my father nodded eyeing me. I guess he didn't buy the whole story.

"Anyway, as I was saying, it’s obvious that me and my friends can't work with .. them that maybe we should just cut our losses and let my friend do it. Don't you agree honey?" Summer said looking expectantly at me. "And I disagree. My girls are always professional even if they don't like the client and for good reason and they've already been paid and invested it will be rude and unprofessional to break the contract." My mother said with conviction. Looking at my father for help, and now all of a sudden, he’s looking at everything but me. "Hey, Lahni what's wrong? I heard from the other room, I snap my head in their direction, only to see Ji'lahni head wobbling and her eyes closed tight, as if she's in pain.

Without thinking twice, I jumped up rushing into the living room with my mother and father right on my heels. "What's wrong with her?” I demanded, as I picked her up in my arms and sat down with her on my lap, so I could check her out myself. "I don't know, one minute she was ok, but after we heard her scream" pointing at summer. "She looked like she was in pain, but said she was fine, and then her words were all jumbled and then her head started nodding." Shawna said with a look of concerned. Opening her eyes just then she frowned looking at me. "Why are you holding me?" Ji'lahni asked. "Because you gave everyone a scare you passed out." I said with my heartbeat racing at the sight of her green eyes. "I told yall I was fine, and don't make a fuss." She said sighing.

"See you heard her, she said she’s fine, so can we get back to planning our mating ceremony." Summer whined impatiently, which earn her a glare from my mother and father. "You've had enough excitement for today is time to get you in bad, take your medicine, and rest." I said getting up. "First of all, you don't get to tell me what to do, and I'm perfectly capable of allowing someone else to take me to my room." She said, squirming trying to get out of my arms, which caused me to tighten my hold on her. "No." I said simply. "He's right you, need to rest, I’ll get your clothes, and your medicine out and ready for you. Oh, shoot! We had a double date planned. Hey Shadow, can you tell Blaze, we will have to go out another time." Mina said gathering Ji'lahni pillows.

"You will do no such thing. You two go out you're not staying home to watch me sleep. The Alpha's right I'm super tired and probably sleep the rest of the night now please just go and have fun." Ji'lahni pleaded. "She's right you girls go have fun I'll see to it that she's just fine." My mother said pushing the girls out the door as they mumbled sadly about wanting to stay. "And mother isn’t it you and dads turn to host the senior pack run." I asked lifting my eyebrows. Glaring at me with guilt in her eyes. "Yes, but that's not important now carry Lahni to her room." She said firmly. "No momma Teri you guys go as I said I'm going to take my medicine and go straight to sleep. I won't be able to rest if you cancel your plans because of me. So please just go I'll be fine." Ji'lahni said with her best puppy dog look.

Sighing my mother nodded but said she was coming straight here afterwards. And for me to make sure she was comfortable before I left. She kissed both me and Ji'lahni on the cheek before heading out. Turning I Headed toward my old room. "Ah excuse me Kahi we can't stay either let one of the maids put her to bed. We have to pick up Razor we're already late." She said with an attitude. I completely forgot Summer was still here turning back to her. "The maids have gone for tonight. You go pick up Razor and I'll meet you at my place I won't be long." I said not waiting for a response. "Wait, aren't you forgetting something? " Summer asked. I'm frowning not knowing what the hell she was talking about. "What? " I asked confusingly, "this silly," she said, before walking up to me, kisses me like we're about to make a movie.

Shocked, I stepped away and broke the kiss almost immediately, but I guess it wasn't fast enough because I glanced down at Ji’lahni, and she had her head turned away from me, but I can see she's angry by how tight she held her jaw. Summer apparently knows she got the reaction she wanted because she was looking at her smiling. "I'll see you at home don't stay too long. I'll have on that red negligee you love." She said walking out of the door. I closed my eyes in frustration opening them to look at Ji’lahni, but she still had head her turned away from me. Sighing deeply, I headed to my old room. Opening the door, the maids must have put all her stuff away already, her medication was on the bed side table along with everything needed to redress her arm. I sat her down opened the bottled water and handed it to her then opened her medication and handed it to her.

"You know I can do this myself. You don't have to do anything else. I'll be fine you seem to have a busy night ahead of you so don't let me keep you. If I need anything I'm sure my cousins or Hunter can handle it." She said dismissingly. I growled at the mention of his name, and I know my eyes have turned silver, but I don't care. Squatting down titling her head to look me straight in the eyes. "If you ever let Hunter touch you again I.... WILL...KILL.... HIM! Do you understand " I said calmly. She only looked at me in utter shock. I know I scared her just now, but I needed to make sure she understands that I won't be able to control my wolf if he sees Hunter touching her intimately. I stood back up and turned toward the bathroom and turned on the shower. Before heading to the walk-in closet to grab her something for bed. Finding a purple hello kitty short pajama set I set them on the bed before I scooped her up and she let out a startled gasp. "What the hell are you doing?" What does it look like I doing? Carrying you to the bathroom to shower you smell like the hospital. Besides a hot shower will help the medication kick in." I said ignoring her protest.

Sitting her on the sink so I could check the temperature of the water and turning back to her. She's so cute when she's pouting. I smile to myself before moving to stand between her legs. "Lift your good arm ill take that out and then ease your left arm free." She frowned looking at me like I have grown two heads. "Uh are you crazy. I'm not letting you take my clothes off. How about taking me back to my room and I'll have my cousins help me. "She said shaking her head. I didn't know what the big deal was nudity wasn't a big deal to us because we get naked to shift so the naked body is natural to us. But humans don't think that way which was stupid because you're born in your naturalist form so why hide or be ashamed. Shaking my head. "Either you're going in naked or fully clothe is your choice." I said crossing my arms waiting for her to make the decision. My wolf is already clawing at me with the excitement of having her back in our arms.

He has been unbearable these last few days with wanting to be near her. Even with me calling every hour to see if she was ok wasn't enough to satisfy Maka in the least. Not to mention his behavior every time we're close to Summer. I hadn't been able to touch her intimately at all.
