The Master POV:

“How the hell did you fail. The plan was foolproof you were supposed to bring me the twins and when I was done with them you could use them to get their mother and her family to do your bidding. Not only did you not get the twins, but you left my asset in the hands of those wolves.” I said as I threw a chair against the wall. Zane was causally leaning against the wall. “Well witch you didn’t tell me how powerful those pups were. They are more powerful than any regular alpha pup should be. So why don’t you tell me what you’re really after? Your asset should be fine her mate is with her I’m sure he will never let anyone hurt her you just have to go and get her back.” Zane said nonchalantly.

If I didn’t need him, he would have been dead years ago. “You fool she is no longer his mate his mate died that day during the war when I found her, she was dying, and I had one of my vampire allies feed her his blood and she died and was reborn as they say. I performed a spell that gives them the illusion of being mates, but it will not last long she has maybe a little over one week to get the hell out of there.” I said, Pacing the room. “Well, I need more rogues I can’t use any of my wolves I have lost too many that I can’t afford to use anymore because it will leave my pack vulnerable to attacks.” Zane said, angrily. “Do you think it is easy to find rogues and get them to do my bidden. It takes a lot of power to control them. Ever since those twins’ birth my power has been weakened the more, I use them the weaker my powers become. That’s why I needed you to bring them to me so I can transfer their power to restore my powers. When I have to face the one person that I have wanted to kill for decades. I want it to be when I'm at full power.” I said, think how good it will be watching her die.

"So, witch what's your plan to get those twins and my mate back. I'm sure they will be ready for any attack so you will have to have a foolproof plan.” Zane said and I rolled my eyes like I didn’t know that already. I turned to my assistant who was standing in the corner. “Get ahold of our contact tell her job is not done if she wants her baby then she will do what I ask her to do. I said as a plan came together in my head. “Alpha, I will get you your rogues but this time you will follow my command I can’t allow you nor anyone to screw this us this is our last chance.” I said just as the sound of an alarm went off on my desk.

“Shit, that’s my asset that could only mean one thing, that everything is much worse than we thought.” I said angrily. “Go I will contact you when everything is ready. And Alpha if you fail again, I will kill you myself.” I said as I opened a portable for him to leave. Once he was gone, I sat in my chair deep in thought about what could have happened that caused my asset to activate her emergency protocol. I need to prepare my potions and spells that I will need. I don’t want to use my powers unless absolutely necessary. I want to save it for the bitch that took everything from me.

“So as of now Lynn has contacted her brother, we need to put our best warriors on the twins. As of now she is with my parents so put four warriors to surround the house and make sure they do 12 hours on and twelve off.” I said to Bruin head warrior. He nodded then left. “So, what did the doc say about how we all were poisoned.” I asked Hunter. He said it was ingested he said wolfbane along with some other form which put the humans out. So, whoever did it knew the humans were immune to wolfbane.” Hunter answered. “We were all in different places during dinner, so we didn’t eat the same things. What could we possibly have all ingested at the same time?” Blaze Asked. “It was those damn cookies.” I said disbelievingly. “Summer.” I said through clenched teeth. “Go get both her and Britney here now.” I told Blaze.

“You don’t think Summer could be the one who poisoned us.” Montego asked in disbelief. I don’t want to believe it, but it is her uncle and she definitely hated and felt threatened by Ji’lahni and the twins. I hope she has a damn good excuse for the cookies she gave us. I could hear yelling coming from down the hall. “Don’t you know I’m your Luna you have no right to handle me like this wait until the alpha hear about you handling me in such a way.” She said as Blaze opened the door to my office and escorted her to the seat across from me. “What is the meaning us this Kahi? You didn’t even come to see if your mate and our baby was ok after the attack. I’m your Luna and you act like you don’t even care. People are still talking about what happen at breakfast with those humans. Now we are getting attacked because of them. What else has to happen for you to understand that them being here is putting the entire pack at risk. You need to make them leave before more of my pack dies.” Summer said angrily.

“Funny you should say that. It seems as though this last attack was done with poison in fact it was poison that was put into food to incapacitate wolves and the humans. Can you guess what we all ingested?” I asked Summer. Her face immediately drained of its color. “Why would I know anything about that. Remember I was also poisoned I as well was really afraid for our pup not that you even bother to see if our pup was ok.” She said in a rush. “Summer cut the crap. You know as well as I do that if something happens to you, I would know instantly through the mate’s bond. But what I do know is that the cookies you gave us was laced with wolfbane. I believed you when no one else did.” I said angrily, slamming my hand on my desk, making both her and Brittney jump in fear. I HATE YOU!” Summer Yelled trying to attack Brittney who was backing away from her as she cried and apologized. “ENOUGH!” I commanded and they both quieted. “Blaze, take them both to the cellar. Make sure Summer is comfortable the pup is innocent in all this have warrior Bruin report to my office as soon as possible he will have decision to make regarding his pup. Also, Fiona put her in the cellars, she needs to be brought in for questioning. I am going back to the clinic to inform the girls of what we have found out. I need everyone back in the conference room in 1 hour.” I said and Blaze nodded and escorted a screaming Summer and a sad Brittney out of the office.

I mean I knew she was crazy but to work with her psycho uncle is a bit much.” Montego said, coming to sit in the chair across from me. “Yea I know I can’t believe it either. I also want to go by my parent’s house to see if they know this witch Urrale.” I have never heard of her before now I don’t even know if Shadow’s mate is telling the truth something about her seems off. She’s not the same person as she used to be but being brainwashed can change a person completely. I just hope Shadow can handle whatever may happen once we find out everything, she is not telling us.” I said as I walked out of my office.

Summer’s POV:

YOU WANT GET AWAY WITH THIS!” I screamed as Blaze pushed me in a cell and closed the door with a smirk on his face. “Seems like you were in the wrong sit after all. I guess I’m not the only one that should know their place.” He said laughing. As he left me in the cellars. “I can’t believe Kahi would do this to me after everything we have been threw how could he choose those filthy human bitches I swear I should have never allowed them to come here in the first.” I said pacing the length of the cell. “You need to calm down Summer you are stressing is not helping the pup.” “You shut the hell up Brit I should rip your throat out.” “I’m so sorry Summer you know I nor anyone can fight an alpha’s command even you. I tried to fight it, but I couldn’t.” Brittney said crying but I had no sympathy for her because she is the reason we are down here.
