Lynn’s POV:

“When I tell you I am itching to pull this trigger and put a bullet between your eyes, I mean that shit. You have ten fucking seconds, to tell me where my brother is and where did you get his blade?” I said as I pulled my gun out and pointed in between her eyes and the blade at her throat so she knows it’s real. “Help me please she is going to kill me!” The bitch screamed. “They can’t help you sweetie. You see one of the neat little tricks you didn’t know about is this blade is that can surround us with a protective shield, well in this case a barrier so he won’t be able to get to you in time enough to save you. See you have now entered into a situation you know nothing about obviously. You have not only put my family in danger you have put everyone here in danger. So again, where did you get this blade and where is my brother?” I asked the crazy bitch as I cocked my gun.

“I don’t know where your brother is I found it on my last mission it was covered in blood. I only know about wounds not healing because of the first time I used it.” she said trembling. “Where?” I asked. “I found that blade in London in a little village called Dungeness.” She answered quickly when I pressed the blade a little more. “Last question and this determine your fate. Who is your master and why do they want the twins?” I asked and pressed my gun into her forehead, I’m sure it will leave a mark, but oh well at least I haven’t pulled the trigger…yet. “NO, no please if I tell you I die.” Shaid said in fear. “Well, if you don’t tell me, you die anyway so it really doesn’t look like you have a choice you can die right here and now by me cutting off your fucking head with this blade or you can take your chances trying to not die by the hand of your master later.” I said with a shrug.

I could still hear everyone beating on the force field, especially Shadow who was ramming into it with his wolf trying to get to his mate. The force field I had up it won’t hold up much longer I just had to get her to answer this last question. “Alright I will tell you. Her name is Urrale she’s the oldest and most powerful which in the world. She wants the twins because they threaten her very existence she will not stop until she has them and you nor anyone can stop her, so the best option is to give her what she wants, and your entire pack gets to live.” she said, smiling evilly at me. Just as the force field disappeared. And everyone tumbled forward. Montego immediately grabbed me and placed me behind him as the alpha grabbed Shadow who wanted to attack me.

“You see yourself Shadow look how you are itching to save your poor zombie mate from me, and you want us to believe you wouldn’t have killed Shawna and your pup? So, you want us to believe that you wouldn’t hurt Shawna if she threatened to hurt your mate? This is exactly what I’m talking about, you have no self-control when it comes to mate bonds or any bond that forces your wolf to protect what binds them to something or someone.” I said breathing hard coming from behind Montego to stand face to face with Shadow who stopped immediately stunned into silence once I mentioned Shawna.

“WHAT THE HELL LYNN WHAT WAS THAT SHIT!” Ji’lahni said, coming to stand in front of me. I sighed because I had to tell them the whole truth about who I am. I just hope they can forgive me for not telling them sooner, but I did it for their own protection and safety. If this blade is in the hands of a she-wolf, then someone was definitely looking for it and that person is more dangerous than one hundred Zane’s put together. I will tell you everything and I know how we can save Shawna. “What! How? What do we have to do?” Mina asked. “Not you, me I have to do this alone. I will not put you all in danger I will do this on my own.” I said adamantly.

“Like hell you will wherever you go I am going.” Montego said jumping up in front of his seat. “No! Monte, I do this alone, you have to stay here and protect my family, I need you to do that for me. But first I need to tell you what may be coming if I don’t stop it.” I said sitting on Montego’s lap before I spoke. “Lynn you’re scaring the hell out of us what is it?” Ji’lahni asked. I sighed. “My name is Lynndoria Lou Chan of the Chan Clan the protectors of the ancient Golden Dragons. That blade is given to all the protectors once they become of age. Only people with our bloodline can use the blade at its full capacity as you saw. The blade that was used to stab Shawna is dipped in dragons’ blood and enchanted with old ancient magic. It is deadly for all shifters and super naturals. It prevents the person from healing, and they will bleed out with just a cut no matter how big or small. The only thing that can reverse the magic of the blade is dragons’ breath.” Lynn said, as she hung her head.

“Wait a minute So Dragan shifter exist. Just how many kinds of shifters are they in this damn world. What kind of fuck shit is all this.” Mina said. “Actually, we were taught that dragons were extinct after the great war between the gods centuries ago.” The alpha said. And I nodded. “Yes, that’s what the history books tells us, but that isn’t entirely true there is very few Golden Dragons left in the entire world and my family protects them from those who try to search and hunt them. Because dragon’s blood is immensely powerful and can be used for great evil. So, my family trained us from birth to take over once we turn eighteen, we are blessed with abilities that give us powers to yield weapons enchanted with the magic of the gods and that blade is one of them actually the one with the least amount of magic in it.” Lynn said, looking at the blade with her family's crest on it.

“So, you mean to tell me all this time you were some kinds of ancient warrior and you had us fighting these wolves when you could have just taken their asses out with a paper cut?” Mina asked. “No, I don’t have any of the weapons from my family’s home when I left, I gave up all those things. I didn’t want my life taken from me, I wanted to make a life for myself. I didn’t want my life written for me, I wanted to live my life on my terms. My whole family turned their backs on me except my grandmother, she has been secretly teaching me and still training me. She says that I would be something far more than just a dragon protector, I will be responsible for protecting the most powerful beings this world has ever seen. I’m starting to realize she must have been talking about our babies. I think that it was destiny that brought us together. Please don’t be mad at me, I couldn’t tell you who I really was because I would have put a target on your back. But now I have no choice I can’t let Shawna and her baby die.” I said tearfully, as I covered my face and cried.

I felt two arms around me. I looked up to see Ji’lahni and Mina hugging me. “First of all, you know damn well we wouldn’t have cared about none of that shit. We are family and we have been through hell these past months. You risked your life to save us from that crazy ass Zane and even now. You have never let us down and you have trained us to protect ourselves. We would be dead if it wasn’t for who you are, so we love you. “Ji’lahni said tearfully. “Yea we love our lil dragon slayer.” Mina said and we laughed out loud.

“I don’t slay dragons I protect them dummy.” I said shoving Mina away from me. “So how do we get this dragons breath that Shawna needs?” Shadow said with hopeful eyes. “Well, it won’t be easy we have to get a Dragon to come here.” I said taking a deep breath. “Holy shit! You want to bring a dragon here? And where will we be because it sure better not be here. We can’t just let it breathe into a cup and send it.?” Mina asked, with wide eyes. “NO, he has to physical breath onto her wound.” I answered, “OK so can you just call them up and have them fly here. Dragons do fly right? “Ji’lahni asked. “Yea but it isn’t that easy in case you missed the part about me leaving and my family turning their back on me.” I sighed.

“Well, what do we do we can’t just do nothing we have to try.” Ji’lahni said looking at me. I knew what she was asking. But it isn’t going to be easy facing the people who beat me every day for thirteen years simply because I was better than they were at nearly everything except speed and even then, I used that against them, especially my oldest brother. Who is the only one I can call since my youngest brother apparently has gotten himself into some shit that I may have to save him from. “In order for me to save Shawna I would have to call my brother he and his dragon will have to come here in order to save Shawna. But it will come at a cost.” I said sadly. “What’s the cost?” Monte asked. I looked at him with sad eyes knowing that he would be against it. I simply answered. “Me, I’m the only one that can do this.” I said, it felt like a bolder was sat on my shoulders.

Shaid’s POV:

Shit, Shit! I wasn’t expecting this turn of event. How is it possible that the blade I used on that bitch earlier belong to a dragon protector. I had to lie about where I got it from in order to not give my master’s location away, even though I still have to tell some of the truth to make it believable. I knew where her brother was my master had found him almost a year ago and brought him to me as a gift for completing my mission of killing Alpha Zane’s son and his mate. He thought rogues had killed them, but it was me. It was all a part of her plans to get her revenge on the she-wolf that had stolen the only man that she loved and took away her chance to rule his pack beside him. I had given them my master’s name, but it wouldn’t do them any good, my master made sure no one knew who she was.

I needed to get out of here plans have changed and I needed to get to my master and inform her of the dragon protector we had in our dungeon if what the Asian bitch said was true then someone extremely dangerous was looking for him. I needed to activate my emergency protocol. My master will be very angry, but this couldn’t be helped. So, while they talked, I lazily pressed the button on my bracelet’s pendant. Now all I needed to do was wait for my master to find a way to get me out of here. I looked over to Shadow and smiled. He was so handsome and very protective of me, a small part of me really wanted to run away with him. I know the mate’s bond wasn’t real, my master told me so. But I think I could fall in love with him. I'm sure he could sustain my appetite, or I could just find someone when he couldn’t.

I could imagine us making love as he marked me, and I feed from him for the rest of our lives. Maybe... NO stop it that is not possible so keep those thoughts out of your head. We have to be ready for whoever master sends for me.
