The Alpha's Plus Size Urban Human Mate Chapter 60
Just a misunderstanding
“I hate to break up you guys' moment. But the girls are about to leave.” Montego said a little anxiously. I looked in the direction of Ji’lahni she was holding Tru and grabbing their diaper bag. I let go of Summer to went over to where the girls were getting up to leave.
“Hey, you don’t have to go. It was just a big misunderstanding. Summer was just upset about what happened.” I said, which caused Ji’lahni to stop and look in my direction. I could see the anger radiating from her. “Are you serious? She was upset. Why is it that she gets to act out physically and verbally then gets coddled by you, but me and my family get attacked when we defend and protect ourselves in response to her bat shit crazy behavior. She can feel however she wants about me, but I told you she isn’t allowed around our babies, but now she’s under the impression that she will be raising them. The math ain’t mathing Kahi. So, since you refuse to tell her what the deal is let me tell her so she understands how it will be.” Ji’lahni said stepping around me to face Summer.
“I need you and your flunky to understand that you are not allowed around my kids, you are not allowed to speak on my kids. As far as you thinking you will ever be allowed to raise them. That's a HELL NO, and Summer, just so we're clear, I will kill you, before I ever allow you to get anywhere near my kids.” Ji’lahni said just as we all heard four clicks and looked down to see that all the girls had their guns pulled and cocked ready to prove that she wasn’t lying. Where. The. Hell. Do they pull these damn weapons from? Summer visibly took a step back. “Kahi are you just going to stand there while she threatens to kill me. I’m the Luna of this pack we can’t allow them to walk around threatening your Luna.” Summer sneered and some of the pack members nodded in agreement.
“Ji’lahni please put the gun away you can’t threaten the Luna of the pack that’s against our laws.” I said stepping between her and Sumner. Summer stepped beside me wrapping herself around me. Ji’lahni looked at me in shock and hurt crossed her face. She then straightened and took a step back away from me. She nodded and put her gun back in its holster at her back and stepped around me. I tried to grab her arm to stop her trying get her to understand where I was coming from. But she recoiled away from me as my hand touched her arm and the jolted almost took my breath away at how strong it was.
Maka howled in sorrow at the rejection of our other half mate. “It’s for the best they don’t need to be here they don’t belong here anyway. They're always causing problems wherever they go.” Summer said. I didn’t respond because I don’t think she would like anything that comes out of my mouth at the moment. I could see Montego fighting the urge to chase after Lynn. This situation only served to validate what Lynn said, that they couldn’t be together as long as Summer was Luna. After Ji’lahni walked out with my pups. Shadow, Hunter, Blaze, Montego, and most of the pack members that actually like the girls also left. Looking around at how many of my pack members loved Ji’lahni and her cousins shocked me. “See what they’ve caused. They have divided this pack and it will continue to divide until we complete our mating. When we complete the bond then everything will fall into place.” Summer said. “Not now Summer.” I said walking to my table taking my seat to get this dinner over with.
An hour later I was so lost in thought I didn’t see my parents come into the pack house. “Hey son. Where’s my grand pups I heard they were eating here tonight, so me and your mom decided to join you. We haven’t sat down with you guys in a long time.” My dad said. Snapping me out of my thoughts. Before I could answer Summer jumped at the chance to answer. “They were here but me and Kahi decided it was best that we limit their exposure to the pack. Everyone seeing those… Pups and the humans causes a divide among those who knows that they don’t belong here and reminds the pack that we aren’t fully mated yet.” Summer said happily.
“WHAT!!? Kahi, please tell me you didn’t go along with this.” My mother yelled. “No mom there was a situation and they decided to have dinner at their house.” I said pinching the bridge of my nose at the beginning of a headache. I really want this entire day to be over. But I want to clear things up with Ji’lahni first she needs to know I would never try and take the girls away from her. “Well, I think we’ll go have dinner with our grandbabies and our chocolate drops.” My mother said turning away from us. “Wait! Mother Teri, don’t you think as former Luna that we should show the pack a united front. You really shouldn’t have the pack members seeing you hanging around the humans all the time.” Summer said and I could literally hear the pack members that stayed slide their chairs away from us.
My mother stopped in her track and my dad quickly wrapped his arms around my mom lovingly, but I know he is doing it to make sure my mother won’t attack Summer. “First of all, young lady, you know nothing about being a Luna, and you’re technically not Luna because the mating isn’t complete. Lastly you may have a say on who my son spends time with, but you will never control who I spend time with. This pack has never been the type of pack to control their pack members and if that is the type of pack you and my son wants to run, I will leave this pack and join my brothers pack before I stop spending time with my grand pups or my chocolate drops.” My mother said as her eyes glowed emerald, green when her wolf comes to the surface. “Mother you are allowed to spend time with whomever you want this pack has never been a dictatorship and it never will.” I said and my mother nodded as she silently turned and headed to Ji’lahni’s place. I kinda wish I were leaving with them too.
“Kahi you really need to talk to your mother we can’t let the pack members see us arguing and not showing a united front.” Summer complained. “Enough!! You have been making outrageous claims all day. Understand I’m the alpha YOU DO NOT MAKE ANY DECISION WITHOUT MY APPROVAL!” I said slamming my fist down on the table cracking it. Summer and Britney jumped, and Summer turned on the water works. “I’m sorry but how can I run anything by you if you’re never around. No mated couple has to hear that their mate is spending time with another woman and her babies. I’m trying to keep the pack running smoothly.” Hearing that I quickly regretted my harsh words. Pulling her in my arms. “I’m sorry that you have to go through this. But before you make any announcement get my approval.” I said kissing her lightly as she nodded.
Just as the omegas finished serving the food. I feel a tug in my mind. I opened the link knowing it was my dad. “Hey dad what’s up?” I asked. “Are you sure the girls were eating dinner at their house?” He asked. “Yes, I assume so, since they were planning to eat here but left after the situation with Summer.” I said frowning. “Well, they aren’t answering. We don’t hear any movement in the house. Your mother is starting to worry.” My father said but I was already up and heading out of the pack house with Montego and Shadow right on my heels I had open the mind link when my father mentioned the girls. It took seconds for us to reach the house. I didn’t bother with knocking I easily twisted the knob and open the door.
The house was eerily silent we raced to the kitchen, but it was empty. Then me, Montego, and Shadow raced to the girl's room. Opening the bedroom door, I already knew they weren’t there. My heart began to race violently. Maka was pacing back and forth in my consciousness waiting to come forward if needed. Walking to the closet I see that most of their clothes were gone, and the babies' things were also gone. So, they weren’t taking against their will which calmed me and Maka, but that was replace with anger. Looking around I see a note on the pillow. Walking over to the note that has my name on it. With shaking hand, I open the letter and my heart sink as I read her words.
