Urrale’s POV continued:

“Gregor! Get your ass out here. We need to get to those pups NOW!” I yelled, fighting off wolves. “You don’t have to yell; I was just having a little snack.” The pale vampire said, with a smile. He grabbed a wolf and threw it against a tree. “Fine, I’ll get the little dogs.” He said, right before he blurred and reappeared right behind the tree where the babies were laying. Finally, one thing is going my way. Now all I need to do is perform the spell and release father.

Shawna’s POV:

“No, no, no, no, we can’t let him take the girls. We have to do something.” I said, looking around for anyone who could help get the girls. “Shawna, stay back, do not move. He’s a vampire and his bites are poisonous, and it will kill you.” Hawk whispered from behind me. He approached the vampire from behind but that was useless. The vampire turned around as soon as Hawk was close enough. He swung at Hawk, but Hawk ducked, swung, and punched the vamp in the gut. The vamp barely grunted at the impact. I decided while they were occupied, I would get the twins. I decided to go around the long way. I went pass by several trees before I started to make my way back to the twins. I looked out back at Hawk and the vamp who was still fighting.

I looked out at the war going on and saw my cousins trying to make their way to the girls, but I was closer, and they were still fighting off warriors and animals. Shadow was battling several vampires who were slowing him down from getting to me. But as he snapped the neck of a vampire he had by the neck, he looked up at me and I could have sworn I heard him in my head promising to punish me. But oh well, some things are worth getting punished for. I looked back at the girls and my heart skipped a beat. They were crying in fear but otherwise looked OK. “Well, isn’t this a coincidence? I thought I would have killed your family by now. But I guess I can cut that mutt out of you and let you watch while I drink him slowly, while I watch you bleed out. It will be like watching a movie while having a drink.” I heard the voice of the one motha fucka I didn’t want to see or deal with right now, especially with my belly bigger than the last time I had to fight her. But I will be damn if she gonna think I’m scared of her ass. I turned around, no longer trying to be invisible because that shit didn’t work.

“I would like to know why you're so obsessed with me. You be thinking about me entirely too much to say I could care less about you.” I said, trying to buy some time so somebody can come and help me with this bitch. I had my guns at my side. But she will see if I go for them. “You fucked my mate and now you’re carrying his pup and you think I would let you get away with touching what is mine.” She hissed at me. “Wait, what? Bitch you were dead for years. That lifetime warranty was voided when you died bitch. Shadow wasn’t yours, but you can have him. I don’t plan on standing in your way. So, you can go on about your business and live happily ever after.” I said, as my emotions tried to take over at the mention of them being together. I touched my belly where our boys grew. “You have no idea about our kind if you think Shadow would be completely happy with me as long as you and that pup exist. So, you must die in order for Shadow to be happy with me. We could have other children.” She said and my eyes widened, she wanted to kill me just so Shadow wouldn’t have me or the boys to put before her.

“Oh, I get it you’re an insecure zombie bitch who is afraid that Shadow may actually love me and won’t choose you.” I said, laughing, which probably wasn’t a good idea, judging by how homegirl started breathing hard and screamed in anger. Before I could blink, the bitch was in front of me and backhanded the shit outta me. The only not so fucked up thing about this was, that I was close to a tree, so I fell back into the tree instead of the ground, but that shit still hurt. I grunted and slid down the tree. Shaid grabbed me by my neck and lifted me in the air. I don’t know who needs to know this but being a big girl getting held up in the air by your throat hurts like a bitch because of gravity and that’s all I’m gonna say about that because, bitch I’m being choked out by a zombie bitch, and I need to focus on not dying. While trying to remove her hands from my throat

I reached down and touched a blade on my belt which I hoped was the dragon one, but at this point I didn’t care, because my ass was on the verge of passing out. I grabbed the blade and cut her fucking wrist that was wrapped around my throat. It wasn’t a dragon's blade, but it was a blade that was silver and dipped in our blood, so I’m good except for the fact that I was falling to the ground, because none of yall was like bitch you do remember she had your ass in the air. Yea, I hit the ground hard as fuck. A sharp pain went from my back to the bottom of my stomach, and I cried out as the pain was sharp. I touched between my legs to check to see if my water broke or if there was any blood. I breathed a sigh of release because there was nothing but some angry boys stirring around in my stomach. I could hear someone yelling my name, but the pain was far greater and more important than someone calling my name.

Shaid was still screaming, holding her wrist. So, I needed to get away from this looney tune bitch. I got onto my knees slowly because of the pain and tried to get to the twins. I fought my pain and got my ass moving. Being in pain means nothing if the only other option is death. “Get your ass up Shawna and get to the girls and get your ass outta this shithole.” I said, giving myself a peptalk. And just like every fucking plan, nothing can go right. Tell me why this bitch grabbed my braids and pulled me up on my knees trying to drag me. Now, let me tell yall something. There are two things that you don’t do to a black woman. Number one, you don’t put your hands in her pots or her food while she’s cooking; number two, you do not EVER touch a black woman’s hair. See now along with pain, fear and now anger, has joined the party of emotions my pregnant hormonal ass. I still had the blade in my hand as she dragged me away from the girls.

I twisted my body and stabbed that bitch in the thigh. She immediately let go of my hair and I quickly started crawling again. The pain in my back is getting worse now, tears were falling, but I didn’t care I had to get away from that zombie bitch and make it to the girls. I didn’t even have time to see if Hawk and the vampire were still fighting. “Shawna, you have to get out of here, we’ll get the girls. You can’t let that zombie bitch catch you. We can’t lose you, please just go.” Ji’lahni said in the com that was surprisingly still in my ear. “Oh, shut up, I’m fine I got this. What yall could do is hurry the hell up, so yall can help a bitch out.” I said, not even checking to see where the zombie bitch was. I had one goal and that was getting to my babies. “God damn Shawna you’re so fucking hardheaded.” I swear I’m going to kick your ass when our boys drop. I promise you that.” Lynn yelled through the com. “Oh my god! hey my babies your tee, tee got you.” I said when I finally made it to the girls.

I ugly cried when I saw their little faces. I couldn’t believe how much it hurt us all not having them around and not knowing if they were hurt or worse. They stopped crying when they heard my voice and turned to look up at me. Their scared cries turned into happy smiling cries as they reached for me, and I hurriedly picked them up. They tried to immediately eat my face. “No, you can’t eat tee tee’s face because it’s dirty. But I can definitely give you some kisses, but after we get the hell out of here. I said, tying a knot in their blanket and threw it over my head so I could carry them and have my hands free if I needed to grab my weapon. “Well, this is just perfect. I get the little pups and a light snack.” I heard from behind me.

I turned to see the vampire that Hawk was fighting standing right behind me. I started backing up, looking around him to see Hawk trying to get up and get to me, but he was pretty banged up. I looked over and I saw Shaid also getting up. Apparently, all it takes is a quick drink for her to heal, by the looks of one of her own men laying on the ground with a chunk missing from his neck and her mouth has blood draining from it. “Uh, now would be the perfect time for somebody to do some superhero type shit.” I said backing away from both the vampire who looked hungry and the zombie bitch who looked angry. Yea, this some bullshit right here. "Ok, boys this would be the perfect time for yall do some dragon-type shit I mean stuff, no bad words.” I thought to myself.
