FUCK!!! What the hell was I thinking going over there. I should have stayed away like I planned. But when I heard the Hunter was there alone with her my wolf lost his shit and the need to be with who he thought was his mate was overwhelming. I needed to find out what the hell is going on. Heading to the doc office to find out what he was able to find out about her blood it has to be the reason my wolf thinks that she’s, our mate. Not bothering to knock on the doc’s office door. “OH!!! Hey alpha I wasn’t expecting you. Did we have an appointment.” The doc said getting up quickly rounding his desk. “No doc we didn’t. I wanted to check and see what you have found out about the human girls' blood.” i asked hoping to finally get some answers, “Oh I see, unfortunately with the limited resources here every test we ran didn’t produce any answers that would tell us why her blood burns our kind. I want to send a sample of her blood to the Boston pack location. The Moon shade pack has a bigger facility with more equipment. I was going to drop by our Luna’s house to get another sample as well as check her progress. I know she is getting restless. If the swelling is down, I want to try to get her up a date walking around a little be with assistance of course I’m sure Hunter would volunteer to be her assistant.” The said absentmindedly.

We need you back at the office ASAP there was another attack on your mother’s brother’s pack he needs our help." He said angrily. “I’m on my way have all the guards who aren't on patrol right now to meet me at the packhouse.” I said cutting the link.

“Dad what are you doing here?” I asked as I walked into the pack house. “Because my brother contacted me about the rogues apparently, they have banned together to attack my brothers pack he said its more than three hundred of them he is can probably hold them a bay until you send reinforcement and I’m going with whoever you send.” “Absolutely not!!!” I growled. My eyes flared silver my fathers on eyes turning the same shade as mine to let me know that although he stepped down from being alpha that it doesn’t mean he is weakened in any way and If I really push, I can make him obey but it would cause him extreme pain. Besides, I know your mother didn’t listen when I told her to not go even though she said OK. “Montego get Rimmy, Blaze, Hunter, and Storm. Tell them to be ready to leave in thirty minutes. Tell the guards they have to do double shift until we return. Tell Bruin the guards will report to him until we return.” I said as everyone filed out of the pack house. Following my orders. Taking a deep breath, I mind linked Summer “Hey there has been a rogue attack at my uncle’s pack, and we are heading there to provide reinforcements.” “OMG! That’s terrible I hope he’s ok.” “Yea he’s ok for now, but he can only hold them off for so long. We should be gone for a day or so. My mother is on her way there as well so Luna training will have to wait until she returns, I’ll have my cellphone if you need me.” “Of course, no problem I definitely understand. Please be careful. I headed to my parents' house to talk to Ji’lahni about what’s happening. It has nothing to do with me needing to see her. Taking a deep breath, I entered her room, but she was asleep. Inching closer to kneel beside her bed staring at her beautiful dark skin and how beautiful she truly was and if it were at all a possibility that she could be I mate I would do anything to make her mine. Everyone was packed light because we would be in wolf form during the battle so there was no need to pack anything other than one set of clothing. Glancing at Montego waiting by the trucks seeing me he straightened as I passed him battle ready.

“Everything’s set we are to approach and attack them from behind they have a camp set up five miles from the borders of the pack we’re guessing to tend to the wounded and regroup we’re going to attack the camp and then make our way to your uncle’s pack land.” Montego said as we entered the truck glancing at my father in the back seat it has been a long time since I have seen him fought in a battle but the way he and his wolf blended together in his eyes I can tell he hasn’t lost a step and the alpha of old is ready for a fight nodding at Montego to move we set off to rip some throats out. We need to end this once and for all I planned to find out who the head of the rogue wolves is a rip his head from his body.

Summer POV:

I can’t believe he didn’t bother saying I love you. On top of the fact that he lied about the meeting earlier because I went by his office, and they told me he was at his mother’s house, and I knew he was with that bitch. “Britney, is everything going according to plan.” “Even better my uncle had to go to Boston via the Alpha’s orders for some top-secret assignment, so he wanted me to help out. He said he had to make a stop before he left but he wont be coming back to the office. So, I’m on my way there do you want to tell me exactly what you have planned?” She asked. “The plan is already in motion all we need now is the docs results and then we can get that bitch off our pack land for good and me and Kahi can go back to normal and have our mating ceremony as planned.” I said as I head to the pack’s medical clinic to meet Britney.

“Calm down it says that they both have small traces amount of wolfbane in their blood. Which would explain why it burned you when you clawed her.” She said smiling and so was I this is exactly what I was hoping for. Now I just have to make sure that Bruin did what I wanted him to do.
