“Holy shit. What in the entire hell!?” I whispered. “Exactly as I thought you too have inherited your pup's ability to heal.” The doc said while I looked in shock. “Well damn I wish I knew that a long time ago. It doesn’t even hurt. Now that’s one less thing I have to worry about when my cousins come to get me. I need to start training again doc so I will be ready.” I said feeling hopeful. “Don’t get too excited you’re still high risk and there is a lot of things unknown about your pregnancy. I want to watch you closely and document everything you feel and go through so I will run test and ask you a lot of questions. It will be annoying but having as much information as possible will help out future humans that may become pregnant by another wolf.

I’m not putting on whatever it is you have in that damn box. You can gone head and take it with you when you leave.” I sneered. “Well, that’s unfortunate. I guess I will have to take the doc here and make him really uncomfortable such a shame I bought him here in order to keep you healthy and to save your pup in exchange for you willing becoming my mate and that includes you acting the loving mate.

"Oh well.” He says shrugging his shoulders as men burst into the room dragging the doc out. “WAIT! I’ll wear what’s in the damn box now leave the doc alone.” I said not wanting the doc to suffer for my stubbornness. “See you made the right decision be ready in an hour.” Zane said before walking out. “Miss Nelson, you didn’t have to do that I’m tougher than I look.” The doc said coming over to check my blood pressure again. “I’m sure you are but you will need to keep your strength up for when we break out of here. What the hell happened to the tracking and video feed!” I yelled over helicopter engine. We had waited 5 hours before we started tracking them to make sure we remain undetected. But while following they completely blank out of sight. Now we were flying blind. “I don’t know what happened alpha it’s like alpha Zane has some type of tracking interference or scrambler.” “What do we do now alpha.” Hunter said in the seat next to me. We have brought all of our strongest fighters and my uncle has lone his strongest and also had guards protect my pack as well. We also had weapon as well. We had bullets taken from Zane’s compound when we raided it rescuing the girls. We meant to destroy it, but Mina and Shawna said they wanted to use them. Lynn also had knives and arrows made with blood infused medal. She also had tranquilizers Strong enough to take down a blue whale which was the largest animal in the world. Montego told her she would probably kill whatever she shot with them she simply shrugged. Even as the alpha I’m a little afraid of the tiny human.

“I say we land and cover as much land as possible.” Mina said through the coms. “Let’s do it. But we separate into three teams we drop team one here and then team two, a few hundred miles ahead the helicopter will sit at the second drop zone until the first team reaches the helicopter and then we’ll drop team three off, and wait for team two and we will alternate drops every few hundred miles ahead Mina, Shawna, and Lynn, I know you want to help but we can cover more ground in our wolf form. I need yall to be our eyes and ears and track where we have been and how much ground we have covered.” After I cover the entire plan everyone nodded in agreement we had a fuel plane in route to us, so fuel wasn’t going to be a problem.

Montego will lead team one and I’ll lead team two. In wolf form we can cover hundreds of miles before we start to feel exhausted so we will cover three hundred miles and use the helicopter to rest. After we landed, we hoped out and immediately shifted and headed to cover as much ground as we could everyone spread and covered much area as we could. It’s been twelve hours and each team had covered nine hundred miles. Team two were now covering another three hundred miles. Opening mind link everyone once we cover these last miles, we will call it a night and start again in the morning.” I said as I continued racing through the forest. “Copy that everyone mind link. Getting ready to close my mind link I hear a faint cry. Stopping dead in my tracks.

I mind linked frantically looking around. “Hear what alpha?” One of the guards asked. “Crying did you hear it.” “I didn’t.” everyone chimed in. “One of you must have heard it.” I said. Picking up my pace searching. “Alpha no one has heard anything. We are all exhausted we will rest and start again.” Montego said. Maybe it was my exhaustion causing me to hear things. It was crazy to think that I heard cries we couldn’t mind link with pups in the womb and not until they shift for the first time. After covering the area, we set up camp and a few of the men hunted for food. Once they prepped it they prepared to put it over the fire to cook. “Uh we not even going to attempt to season the meat.” Mina said with her nose turned in disgust. “It’s not like we have too many options do you see where we are.” Hunter said laughing.

“So, when yall take trips like these yall don’t pack things you need to survive.” “We don’t need seasoning to survive.” “The hell we don’t who walking around eating unseasoned food.” “I don’t see you with seasonings.” Hunter said with a smirk like he won then that quickly ended when not only Mina, but Shawna and Lynn pulled out a baggies with seasoning, bread, even sandwich meat. “We’re country we didn’t have a lot of money growing up so our family always packed food and snacks when taking long rides. And I didn’t even have to think twice I knew Shawna and Lynn had pack food. If Ji’lahni was here we would have a whole dinner fried chicken veggies baked rolls and desert in one bag would have been nothing but Tupperware. She was always taking care of us making sure we were good after our family died, she immediately took on the role as parent and never complained always smiling and encouraging us.

I said, and everyone looked my way wondering what I meant. “She is always taking care of you all.” Mina gave a small smile and nodded in understanding. The men put the season meat on the fire. I decided to patrol the area alone I needed to clear my thoughts. Opening my mind link to inform Montego. Again crying. What the hell is that am I losing my mind.
