Werewolf
Lycan's Mate (His Claim) Chapter 33
Fiona's POV
My mouth dropped open as I stared, completely baffled, at my dad. Was he serious? I mean, I know he never really said anything about me staying up at night or anything, but allowing me to come home late when I was heading off to a party with a guy who he barely knew? Was my dad on drugs or something?
Blake nodded his head.
"As you wish, sir. I'll make sure your daughter gets home safely later on tonight." He paused, his eyebrow rising with pure curiosity.
"And fishing trip?
My dad nodded with a bright smile.
"We go every so often. We rent a cabin down south from here. You're welcome to tag along with your father tomorrow if you two want to." Okay, this was getting extremely weird
"Sure thing. I'm sure my father will love to accompany you both on this trip. I'll inform him of that tonight at the party."
With a nod of his head and a shake of my mate's hand, my dad pushed me gently towards him. I nearly tripped and fell at the gesture, but Blake immediately caught me, placing a tender arm around my waist and holding me close. I was sure that my dad would flip out at us standing so close like this, but I was clearly proven wrong. Instead of throwing us a fit and pushing us ten feet apart like any normal dad would, he instead smiled down at us both and waved us off.
"You kids have fun." With that, he turned around and shut the door closed.
I was staring at it with wide eyes and an open mouth before I felt Blake tug on my arm and lead me towards the car. He was careful to guide me down the steps after he noticed that I was having some difficulty with the heels I was currently wearing. Being the gentleman that he is, he opened the passenger door and with my hand held tightly in his, helped me inside before shutting the door behind him. Without a single word, he stepped inside the vehicle and turned the key, the mustang roaring to life before he sped down the road.
The car was filled with silence as we made our way to his home. I stared off into the night, trying hard to ignore the sensation that ran through my body at the close proximity of our bodies. Trying hard to distract myself, I began fidgeting with the hem of my dress, trying hard to conceal any skin that might drive Black and his wolf insane.
The next thing I knew, the car came to an abrupt halt and I looked up to take in my surroundings. We were now parked in front of a rather large three story home. It was huge! I have never seen anything like it in my life! The structure was just incredible and I couldn't help but admire how it appeared to look old-fashioned with a modern twist to it. It seemed to fit perfectly with its surroundings, which was mainly woods by the way. Before I could continue taking in the large house that seemed to be my mate's, I felt the car move once more as Blake made his way around the house. As we passed by, I noticed many people inside, chatting about and I suddenly felt a huge lump fill my throat. Trying hard to calm my heavy breathing and fast beating heart, I focused on the dirt path in front of me that seemed to lead into a garage of some sort that was connected to the side of the house. The garage door opened automatically, revealing nicer looking cars parked safely inside, no doubt his father's and mother's and possibly more important people that lived in this enormous mansion
Blake parked the car beside what seemed to look like a Lamborghini and shut off the engine with a swift hand. He relaxed his body against the seat before taking in a deep breath. Seconds passed before our eyes met and I took in a sharp breath as I noticed his dark eyes
"You look amazing tonight, Fiona," he said in a low husky voice
I smiled shyly his way, my cheeks reddening as I looked down at the clutch held tightly in my hands.
"Thanks. You don't look so bad yourself."
Beside me, I heard a low growl erupt inside the car, making me jump and meet his eyes immediately. They were pitch black and I couldn't help but turn away as I stared at them. I knew his wolf was close to the surface and it was a stupid move to wear a dress like this in front of him
"Don't worry, I'm controlling him.
I peered up at him, noticing how his eyes were still black as he stared intently at me.
"But….your eyes…."
"Yeah, he's close to the surface, but he knows to behave himself around you." I couldn't help but smile. I guess Blake wasn't the only gentleman here.
"But I have to admit, you do look incredibly delicious tonight."
Being the girl that I am, I erupted into a fit of giggles as my cheeks flushed brightly in front of him.
"Is that supposed to be a compliment?"
Next thing I knew, Blake was no longer sitting comfortably in his seat. He was now hovering over my body, his right hand lying above my head on the head rest while the other laid right beside my thigh. Where his left hand lay, I could feel sparks run down my bare legs, making me shudder as I stared into his dark eyes. My breath was suddenly caught in my throat as I felt his hand brush against my thigh as he positioned himself better. The only problem with that was that his hand now laid beside my hip, making him be a lot closer to me than he was before. If I were to move my head one inch forward, there was no doubt my lips would brush against his own. The mere thought made the butterflies erupt in my stomach once more
He leaned down, kissing my neck and traveling down to my chest. My breathing came out in rapid breaths as the sensation that coursed through my veins nearly made me explode with pleasure. He had never done that before, but I wasn't protesting. The feeling was incredible and I wanted nothing more than to have his lips kiss something other than my neck. He traveled back upwards, settling below my ear before he nibbled against my skin, causing a moan to escape me. He let out a soft growl as he continued. I tried my hardest to hold the small moans in, but this guy was just too hot for his own good! I couldn't believe one guy could make me feel this way, like I was the only girl in the entire world he had his eyes set on. And more importantly, this guy made me feel things that I had never felt before, making me almost attack him.Brushing his lips against my ear, I felt him smile as he whispered lowly,
"You have no idea, beautiful."
He continued his kissing, but instead of traveling down my neck again, which has been something I have grown to love so much and crave whenever I was near him, he instead began to kiss my jawline, traveling towards my lips slowly. I could feel my heart beat heavily against my chest, and I knew for a fact that he was able to hear it because he chuckled against me but never once stopped. When he finally made it to my chin, he pull away, staring down at my lips as he let out a soft growl. I only stared back at him, waiting for him to just do it already. I could feel my body shaking in anticipation and I wanted nothing more than to just grab him and kiss him the way I had always wanted to do since the day I met him. Now I knew why I've always wanted to.
"You're mine, Fiona," he whispered, leaning forward and brushing his lips against mine. The air around us was filled with the sparks that ignited between us. It was so dense that I'm surprised neither of us had suffocated yet. I craved his touch. I craved his lips against my own. I craved him more than he'll ever know.
I noticed his arms tense, and I knew it was coming. The moment I had been waiting for a really long time. Just when he was about to lean down and finally kiss me, we were interrupted by a soft tapping noise against the passenger window. He let out a loud growl which thundered inside the vehicle before his eyes snapped at the figure who was intruding our little moment. In all honesty, I was glad that person did, whomever it was. I don't know if I could've taken any more of this. I wanted Blake so badly but I was still scared at the way he would react if we kissed. I've never kissed anyone before, so I had no clue how the whole make-out sessions worked.
With a frustrated sigh, he pulled back his left hand and pressed down on the button that made the window go down. When it was open halfway, he pulled back his hand, but never once pulled away from being above my now breathless form.
"You rang?" he said through gritted teeth, his pitch black eyes never once lightening back to their original color.
I turned my head, trying hard to clear my mind with the air that blew into the car, even if we were parked inside the garage. I stared at the figure before me, realizing it was Black with a knowing smirk spread across his lips. He was simply wearing a pair of jeans with a bright blue shirt and converse. So much for dressing up for the party
"Hello you love birds. I just came here to inform you that you guys should already be heading in."
Blake rolled his eyes, their shade turning a little bit lighter as he took control of his wolf.
"They can all wait."
"But they already know you guys are here. Don't want to keep the rest of the pack waiting, you know."
"The pack could wait," he repeated through gritted teeth I stared at Black who seemed to be growing nervous under Blake's heavy gaze. It was clear that although they were best friends, Blake was still his Alpha and interrupting him while he was with his mate was clearly disrespectful. I was about to defend Black until he himself saved his butt from being shred to pieces.
"It wasn't me, man. It was your mom. You know how she gets. She really wants to meet Fiona already and keeping her waiting wouldn't be the best thing to do right now."
Blake let out a heavy sigh before looking down at me with apologetic eyes. They were back to normal, much to my relief and I simply gave him a reassuring smile. With a small peck on my forehead, which left me with tingles like always, he closed the window with a flick of his finger before he pulled away and sat back in his seat.
I unbuckled my seat-belt and smiled brightly at Black who held the door open for me with an extended hand.
"My lady."
I rolled my eyes before taking his offered hand. He pulled me up in one swift movement, which caused me to stumble forward but he easily grabbed a hold of me. Making sure I had finally regained my balance, he released me after the sound of a Blake's loud growl was heard and closed the door with a loud thud. I smiled apologetically at him as he made his way through the door that probably led to the first level of the house.
"See you guys inside," he called over his shoulder before completely disappearing around the corner.
I felt two strong hands slip around my waist and press my back hard against his chest. I let out a soft sigh as I relished the feel of his arms wrapped around me. He gave me a small kiss on top of my head before spinning me around so I could face him.
"You ready?" he asked, clear worry seen in his dark eyes. They turned a shade darker and I knew that was his wolf stepping forward to make sure I was okay. The funny part about it was that Blake never told me about that ever happening. He never once informed me of the fact that when his wolf steps forward, even slightly, his eyes would change to let me know of his presence. How did I know about this? I don't know. I guess it was just a hunch.
With a small smile, I nodded.
"As ready as I'll everbe"
