Druid in the Marvel Universe Chapter 100: No Turning Back

At Stark's estate until evening, the sprawling grounds included its own beach, where the two little ones had a blast.

Frank, like a diligent old nanny, had two water cups hanging around his neck and was dragged around by the two kids all day.

Alvin was very impressed with the staff at Stark's estate; their elusive presence far surpassed the ghost wolves he could summon.

Every time Stark waved his hand, a stern-faced middle-aged man would appear in front of him almost instantly. Alvin found it quite eerie and wondered how they trained to be like that.

After a fairly decent dinner, Alvin and his group bid farewell and left Stark's estate.

Alvin was driving, while Frank, a super tough guy, was exhausted from being tormented by the two kids.

On the way, Alvin considerately turned on the radio, playing some soothing country music, rolled down the windows to let in the fresh evening breeze, and headed home!

As for the kids' noise, as a seasoned dad, Alvin felt no pressure at all.

When the car reached Brooklyn, they found the road blocked by the military.

Several armored vehicles and a squad of heavily armed soldiers had the road completely sealed off.

Alvin craned his neck to look outside. At the end of the road, there was chaos, with people and vehicles running in all directions, as if everyone was fleeing for their lives.

Something terrible must have happened up ahead. Alvin quickly turned the car around, wanting to get away from there, especially since he had two kids in the car. New York could be very dangerous at times, with all sorts of bad guys and monsters popping up!

Just as the car turned around, Alvin saw someone in the distance swinging through the air on a milky white thread, like Tarzan in the urban jungle.

Alvin immediately recognized him as old Parker's nephew, Peter Parker!

Alvin painfully knocked his head, wondering how old Parker could have such a foolish nephew.

If you really want to be a hero, you should get yourself a decent costume to earn a more impressive title!

Wearing your highly recognizable school uniform inside out, with a wrestler's mask on your head, and swinging around spraying webs—what are you trying to do?

Stopping him was out of the question. Alvin immediately jumped out of the car and said to Frank, "Hurry and take Nick and Ginny back. I need to go check it out."

Alvin saw Peter, and of course, Frank saw him too. Although he didn't know who it was, he knew it had to be a student from their school. That school uniform was too recognizable, even worn inside out!

Frank nodded to Alvin, pulled out a 1911 from his waist, handed it to Alvin, and said, "Be careful!"

No time to complain about Frank's habit of always carrying a gun, Alvin turned and rushed towards the scene.

In just a few seconds, Peter had already jumped out of the scene, carrying a girl in his arms!

When Alvin ignored the soldiers' warnings and rushed against the fleeing crowd to the scene, Peter had already rescued a few more people. As he was about to go back in, Alvin finally arrived and tried to grab him but missed, letting the eager young man rush back in.

When Alvin saw the scene, a huge gray monster with sharp bone spurs on its back was rampaging through the street, destroying buildings and throwing cars around like bricks. He finally understood what was happening.

It was "Abomination," the one who fought the Hulk to a standstill!

This was the center of Brooklyn, and it was 8 PM. The area was crowded with people watching movies, dining, and shopping. With each act of destruction by Abomination, people screamed and died.

Initially wanting to teach Peter a lesson, Alvin changed his mind. Seeing a kid brave enough to rush in and save people from such a monster was truly gutsy!

Helping a middle-aged man who had fallen, Alvin signaled him to run. He summoned five ghost wolves to rush in and save people.

Taking out his phone, he called Stark, "Stark, there's a big mess in Brooklyn. Why aren't you here yet?"

A confused Stark answered, "What mess? I don't know! I'm doing an experiment right now. That camouflage fabric you gave me is fascinating!"

Alvin looked at the news helicopter in the sky and said, "Turn on the TV and you'll see!"

About twenty seconds later, Stark anxiously said over the phone, "I'm on my way. In the meantime, you might want to try out your big toy!"

Alvin didn't rush in recklessly. He only had the 1911 Frank gave him, which would be useless. He decided to stay put and assist the people Peter and the ghost wolves rescued.

A young girl, who hadn't run away but stood behind Alvin waiting for him to finish his call, anxiously asked, "Principal, was that a student from our school just now?

Get him out of there; it's too dangerous!"

Alvin was taken aback and turned to see that the first girl Peter had rescued was actually Chief George's daughter, Gwen.

Gritting his teeth, Alvin looked at the little rascal swinging around in the sky. No wonder he didn't even change his clothes before rushing over; he wanted to play the hero and save the beauty, huh? Doesn't he know the school forbids dating?

Glaring at Gwen, he pointed in the direction of the fleeing crowd and shouted, "Get going! I'll deal with you later. What are you doing out on the streets so late instead of going home?"

Gwen shrank back in fear but bravely asked, "That was someone from our school, right?"

Alvin had no patience to answer Gwen's question. He helped up a young man who had been dropped by a ghost wolf and shouted at Gwen, "Get lost!"

The girl, knowing the seriousness of the situation, stuck out her tongue, helped an old lady up, and supported her as they fled.

A group of brave soldiers noticed Peter and the ghost wolves' actions. They heroically drove their Humvees towards Abomination, firing intensely to attract its attention and buy time for Peter and the ghost wolves to save people.

They were true heroes. Not one of them tried to run before being torn to pieces by Abomination.

Alvin saw with his own eyes a soldier trapped under an overturned Humvee, still struggling to shoot at Abomination to draw its attention before being crushed. This allowed Peter to rescue an elderly person from a dangerous spot.

Alvin caught a child thrown by Peter and helped up a middle-aged woman dropped by a ghost wolf. He handed the child to her and signaled her to run.

The Sun Vine burst out from a manhole, tightly binding Abomination's legs.

The Sun Vine's unique energy-draining ability was somewhat effective on Abomination, drawing its attention and buying time for Peter and the ghost wolves.

But there were just too many people. The collapsing buildings, the injured on both sides of the road, those trapped in damaged cars—there were too many!

Each violent struggle by the bound Abomination caused more injuries and deaths!

A squad of fully armed soldiers ran past Alvin, with the leader saluting him.

Then, raising their rifles, they charged fearlessly at the terrifying Abomination, hoping to draw its attention through gunfire.

The leader was the previously rude sergeant at the roadblock. Now, he was risking his life to buy time for the rescue.

With red eyes, Alvin called Stark and shouted, "Are you limping your way here, you bastard?

Where are you?"

The phone blared with heavy metal music, and Stark shouted, "Look up, I'm here!"
