Druid in the Marvel Universe Chapter 22: So Handsome It Makes People Pregnant

Director George looked at Alvin, inspired by his idea. Why was he under so much pressure now? Because the public didn't know about this matter.

Once the existence of vampires was exposed to the public, no one could stop his investigation.

When people knew that there was a terrifying group lurking among them, feeding on them, the resulting power and pressure would be something no government department could withstand.

As for whether this would screw over Stark, that was not within the director's concern. Besides, that guy wasn't exactly likable.

Without hesitation, the decisive Director George picked up the phone and dialed.

"Hello, Miss Pepper, this is George from the NYPD."

...

"Yes, I'm calling about yesterday's incident. We've captured a few suspected vampires and would like you to come and confirm."

...

"At the Peace Hotel in Hell's Kitchen. I'll be waiting here, and it would be best if Mr. Stark could come along. I think there's a misunderstanding between Mr. Stark and Alvin, and this is a chance to clear it up."

...

"Alright, I'll be waiting here. Please hurry!"

...

Director George hung up the phone and saw Alvin looking at him with a disdainful expression. He touched his face and said, "What's wrong? Is there something on my face?"

Alvin sarcastically said, "Nothing, I'm just curious. You're the head of the NYPD, and you don't have Tony Stark's phone number? You had to call his secretary for something!" He rubbed his chin, "George, old buddy, I'm starting to doubt your capabilities."

Director George awkwardly smiled and said, "I've dealt with Stark before, but I don't really like the guy, so..."

Alvin didn't make it difficult for him. It was clear that George was a straightforward guy. He smiled and said, "You didn't make it yesterday, so we did a simple interrogation of the three vampires." He grinned menacingly, "They were very cooperative. Want to hear it first?"

Director George took a sip of coffee and made a gesture indicating he was all ears.

Alvin organized his thoughts and said, "They call themselves the Blood Clan, having proliferated for over a thousand years. There are pureblood and half-blood vampires. The three we caught last night are half-bloods, with average combat abilities, just a bit faster and stronger.

They were all turned by pureblood vampires to serve them. The warehouse yesterday was their food storage for the pureblood vampires."

Alvin pursed his lips and continued, "It's said that pureblood vampires have lived for hundreds or thousands of years. They divide themselves into twelve clans, forming a vampire council that rules over all vampires.

They are powerful, with a vast influence, and have a group of ghouls cheering them on. They are troublesome, especially for you."

Director George gritted his teeth and slammed the bar counter, saying, "Let me see what these bastards are."

Alvin rubbed his nose and said, "I suggest you wait a bit until Stark arrives, and then we can go together. Yesterday, when we were interrogating them, JJ was a bit heavy-handed, and the scene might not be pretty."

Director George, seeing Alvin's expression, thought of the poor Jessica and readily agreed.

Seeing that Director George was a reasonable person, Alvin's impression of him improved greatly. After all, he was hoping George would send his daughter to his school, wasn't he?

Alvin smiled and asked, "What happened to the stowaways in the warehouse yesterday? Were they deported?"

This question made Director George a bit irritable. He said, "The FBI detained them and didn't let Immigration get involved. Alvin, I'm really worried that the influence of these monsters is beyond my imagination."

Alvin casually comforted Director George, saying, "You don't need to worry about that. At most, they're just a nuisance. For thousands of years, humans have always dominated this world for a reason.

Those things have too many fatal weaknesses. Even if they have a place among the human elite now, it's just a sandcastle on the beach. One wave, and poof—"

Director George felt a bit better and said, "Alvin, tell me, what are the fatal weaknesses of vampires? I need to understand my enemy."

Alvin pouted, feeling a bit puzzled about how vampires had survived until today. Just sunlight alone was enough to sentence them to death. Were humans all idiots?

Looking at Director George, he said, "Sunlight, silver weapons, garlic. I don't know much else. Maybe you could send an email to the Vatican for more information." He paused, "That's also why I want to drag Stark into this. Fighting vampires is really expensive without a wealthy sponsor."

Director George nodded and said nothing more. Everything had to wait until Stark arrived and they saw the real vampires before making a final judgment. It wasn't that he didn't believe Alvin, but this was a quality essential for a successful leader.

Today, the Peace Hotel had a "Closed for Business" sign hanging at the entrance. Alvin and the others were waiting for Stark in the restaurant.

The wait was a bit long. Alvin even had time to read a storybook to Ginny, summon Thor and Dom, and let Ginny play a game of horseback riding.

The energetic Thor and Dom liked Ginny and were willing to play with her. It was better than lying at the door as mascots every day.

Little Ginny, standing on the ground, was about as tall as Thor. She was hugging Thor's neck, laughing, and burying her face in Thor's thick fur, ignoring her mischievous dad who was tickling her.

It was almost noon when Alvin, seeing that it was getting late, decided to make some food first so everyone could eat while they waited.

Just as Alvin's first steak was about to be ready, Stark's flamboyant voice appeared at the restaurant door.

"Wow, nice smell. Looks like we arrived just in time!" The flamboyant man with the mustache and curly hair, Stark, in a dark red suit, walked in. Behind him were Pepper and the bodyguard Happy, with a bandage on his nose.

Jessica, who was resting on a dining table, looked up when she heard the door open and saw Stark in his dark red suit, with an oily smile on his face. She froze for a second, then covered her mouth and rushed into the bathroom again.

Alvin felt a bit sorry for her. The poor girl had already vomited up her bile. What would she throw up now?

Stark swaggered to the bar, stroking his mustache, "What's wrong with that girl? Am I so handsome that I made her pregnant ahead of time? Haha!"
