Druid in the Marvel Universe Chapter 42: My Name is Kingpin

Mr. Stark is a proud man. Upon hearing that there was an issue with his vampire prevention system, he immediately drove over. He truly embodies the spirit of a modern, excellent entrepreneur.

Director Fury and Agent Coulson were feeling a bit uneasy sitting in the restaurant. They never expected that Alvin would knock down a vampire big shot just because of a disagreement. Now, he and JJ were taking turns stabbing Count Dracula in the stomach with a small silver dinner knife.

Looking at Count Dracula's face, which now resembled the surface of the moon, it was clear that if he were released, he wouldn't show himself without undergoing major cosmetic surgery.

The energetic young Nick was hopping on one leg, peering at Count Dracula. He occasionally wanted to borrow the Remington from his father to take a shot at Dracula. A vampire! If he could shoot him, he could brag about it for the rest of the semester.

Frank looked at his son with concern, as if seeing the future Tony Stark. "I don't have billions for you to inherit. When you grow up, many people will want to beat you up. What will you do then?"

Jessica and Ginny were doing fine. After Count Dracula was disfigured, Jessica hadn't looked at him again. She was busy tidying up the things that had been broken earlier, ready to throw them away tomorrow. Little Ginny, with no other thoughts, was sitting on a high stool at the bar, resting her chin in her hands, looking at Alvin with adoration, occasionally waving her little fists to cheer him on.

Alvin tossed the small dinner knife to JJ, looked at Count Dracula, and smiled, "May I ask what you were planning to do?"

Count Dracula, with his tattered face and smoke rising from his body, looked at Alvin defiantly, baring his fangs, and said, "You will pay for what you did today. The price will make you regret it for the rest of your life!"

Alvin's pupils contracted slightly, and he smiled, "You have to be alive for me to regret it, don't you? Do you think you can survive tonight?"

Count Dracula sneered, "You don't dare to kill me. Killing me means declaring war on the vampires, and that will result in bloodshed, a lot of blood. Damn it, tell me your name. Before I tear you apart, I'll make a tombstone for you with your last confession engraved on it!"

It seemed that the proud Count Dracula hadn't remembered Alvin's earlier introduction.

Alvin smiled brightly, looked into Count Dracula's eyes, and said seriously, "I am the owner of Hell's Kitchen. My name is Kingpin. Make sure you remember it."

Director Fury and Agent Coulson felt a chill run down their spines. They decided it was best to stay away from Alvin; being too close to him could shorten their lives.

Count Dracula sneered, "I remember you, Kingpin." Then he fell silent. The damage from the sun lamp no longer made him cry out. The damage to his pride today was a hundred times worse than the physical pain.

The scene quieted down. Director Fury slowly walked over, looking serious, and said, "I'm afraid you really can't kill him. He's an important figure among the vampires. We can't risk starting a war just to get rid of this guy."

Alvin glanced at Director Fury and said, "He came to trouble me, and you don't want me to kill him. Do you want me to wait for him to recover and come back for revenge?" He poked Director Fury's chest, "Director Fury, you're making me question your stance on humanity."

Director Fury looked at Alvin and said seriously, "The vampires have existed for nearly a thousand years. Do you know why they haven't been wiped out?"

Alvin tilted his head and thought for a moment, "Maybe it's because of the stupidity of people like you that this blood-sucking race has survived until today. Or are you just afraid of them?"

Director Fury took a deep breath, holding back his anger. He hadn't been insulted this much in the past ten years.

"I can't explain it to you, Alvin. S.H.I.E.L.D. isn't afraid of anyone or anything. We're worried about the consequences! As long as I'm here today, he can't die. Maybe I can guarantee that he won't come after you again!"

Alvin looked at the anxious Director Fury and sneered, "Your guarantee? Your guarantee means nothing to me. Maybe you should get out of my restaurant. For Frank's sake, I'll wait until you're out the door before I chop him up."

"Chop up who?" A frantic voice came from the door. Stark, disheveled, burst in.

The first thing he saw was the disfigured Count Dracula. Stark was so startled by his peculiar appearance that he took a small step back.

Stark looked at Alvin and quipped, "Wow, buddy, can you not be so brutal? Why is it that every time I come over, I see such horrifying scenes?"

Director Fury glanced at Stark, then turned to Alvin and said, "I know you, Alvin. You're not an irresponsible man. Think about it. If a war breaks out, how many innocent civilians will die because of your impulsiveness? You've protected three communities with your strength, giving people here dignity. But if a war starts, they'll be the first to face the flames. This is a race war, Alvin. Have you really thought it through?"

Alvin was tired of Director Fury's tone and said impatiently, "So what do you want me to do? Let him go and wait for him to come back for revenge? If I have to face revenge, how is that different from starting a war? This whole thing had nothing to do with me from the start. It was your so-called vampire management department that screwed up, letting these damned creatures wreak havoc in New York."

Director Fury was now sweating with anxiety and shouted, "I said, I guarantee he won't come after you again. I can convince the Vampire Council to put Count Dracula into a hundred-year sleep. I have that ability."

Alvin smiled playfully and said, "I don't trust you, Nick Fury. I think you're treating me like a fool. I don't believe that humans can't deal with these creatures with obvious weaknesses. Don't try to persuade me with talk of war. It's unnecessary! And my patience is running out."

Director Fury dropped all expressions from his face, coldly scanning everyone, and said in a deep voice, "Then I'll tell you the truth, but only you can know. We can talk outside."

The two walked out of the restaurant and talked for about twenty minutes before coming back in.

Alvin, with a grim face, sent the two kids and Jessica upstairs.

He sternly instructed JJ, "Cut off his hands and feet, drain his blood, and pack him in a suitcase for Director Fury to take back."

Then he turned to Nick Fury, staring at him with an icy gaze, and said, "Warn them to stay out of Hell's Kitchen, to stay away from me. And don't try to deceive me again! Director Nick Fury!"
