Hell's Kitchen spent a week in a quiet environment.

Finally finding the key point, Chief Misty arranged for all her officers to ensure the smooth conduct of this ATC exam.

For the first time, Misty's orders were executed without any discount.

Cops stood at street corners, gangsters stood in alleys, and all troublemakers or those planning to cause trouble were given a good beating and thrown into the police station.

When the leading police car escorted two school buses on the road, everyone and every vehicle voluntarily made way. Some even clapped and cheered for them!

Everyone was looking forward to it! The performance of these kids would largely show the people of Hell's Kitchen the future prospects for their own children.

Just because a father is a gangster doesn't mean his child has to be a gangster. Just because a father is poor doesn't mean his child has to be poor for life.

Alvin leisurely sat in his principal's office, drinking coffee. Watching all the school staff bustling around, he had no idea what they were doing.

With only 63 students taking the exam, the entire staff of over seventy teachers and employees were there to serve them. Old Parker specifically brewed coffee for these kids and, along with a sixteen or seventeen-year-old boy, delivered it to the students taking the exam and the teachers and staff helping out.

It was clear that Old Parker was well-liked. Everyone who took coffee from him sincerely said thank you and complimented the shy boy beside him, his nephew, Peter Parker.

Old Parker wanted Peter to experience this magical community school. He had already decided to send Peter here after the summer break. He was even looking for a house in the 25th Street area where Alvin lived.

His colleague, Mr. Frank, volunteered to help him contact the house owner. It was said that the negotiations were going well, and Old Parker had a good chance of moving into Hell's Kitchen in August.

At the school gate, Frank and JJ watched the bustling crowd. Dedicated police officers, led by Officers Michael and Scott, formed a human wall to hold back the slightly restless crowd.

Several well-known gang leaders were also in the crowd. They didn't bring their men because they thought it might be bad luck for the kids taking the exam.

At this moment, they looked like fathers hoping their children would succeed, nervously and expectantly watching the school. They didn't even mind being stepped on a few times.

JJ nudged Frank's arm and said, "Buddy, only 63 kids are taking the exam. Why does it feel like every parent in Hell's Kitchen is here?"

Frank, looking like a philosopher, stared blankly ahead and murmured, "Maybe they're here looking for hope."

JJ, puzzled by Frank's cryptic demeanor, tried to make conversation, "Do you think the kids inside are nervous? I think the crowd might be putting a lot of pressure on them."

Frank gave JJ a sinister smile and said, "I have a way to calm them down. They'll definitely try their best on the exam. And I've already used it on those kids."

JJ, chilled by Frank's sinister smile, cautiously asked, "What did you do?"

Frank, putting away his sinister smile, said proudly, "I told them that if they didn't do well, it's okay. They can come back next year. I have a few empty rooms in my house, and they're welcome to stay."

JJ was startled. Frank's threat was terrifying for these kids. Not doing well would mean living with the school's disciplinary director for a year! How could they survive that?

Professor Cage burst into the principal's office, the old man proudly lying on Alvin's office sofa with his feet up on the coffee table. He said proudly, "Get the esteemed Professor Cage a cup of coffee to help him relax."

Alvin looked at Professor Cage like he was an idiot and said, "Who are you talking to? Olivia isn't here."

Professor Cage, hands behind his head, rare for him not to be angry, smiled and said, "In a week, you'll have to prepare a grand graduation ceremony, buddy. This year's ATC questions were surprisingly easy. Except for that kid Zack, the other kids should all meet the college admission scores. And Zack has already received a special football recruitment notice from Texas A&M University. Buddy, our school is going to be famous!"

Alvin slapped his thigh and quickly poured Professor Cage a cup of coffee, asking in disbelief, "Are you sure?" In Alvin's wildest dreams, he never imagined the scenario Professor Cage described. It was too fantastical, something that shouldn't happen in Hell's Kitchen.

Old Cage laughed heartily and said, "No problem. If you don't believe me, ask Professor Wilson. He'll be here soon. Buddy, you need to put up a bronze statue of me in the school. I want my ashes buried there. I'm so impressed with myself. This has been the most fulfilling year of my educational career."

At this moment, the old cowboy didn't seem so detestable in Alvin's eyes. This rough Western cowboy had left his mark on the history of the community school.

Professor Wilson, who followed in, looked at Professor Cage already sitting on the sofa and said, "I knew you'd be the first to come here, old man."

Alvin cautiously said to Professor Wilson, "Professor Cage just told me some shocking news. I can hardly believe it. Professor Wilson, can you give me a definite answer?"

Professor Wilson, in his seventies, playfully made a face and laughed, "There's basically no problem. All getting into top universities is impossible, but all getting into college is no problem!"

Hearing this, Alvin sat back heavily, curling up in his large office chair, his mind going blank.

A year of hard work had brought the community school abundant rewards. It felt unreal, like a dream, but this dream gave Alvin a great sense of accomplishment.

The two professors, seeing Alvin suddenly fall silent, smiled at each other and left the principal's office together, leaving time for the special young man to savor the joy of success.
