Omega Bound Chapter 130
Cyrus
*Me: Okay. Do you have a plan for this time around? Will you be having a heat with your actual real mate that really, really, wants to be mated with you if you have one?*
My stomach is in knots. I didn't think about heats after finding your mate. I could go into a rut. What the hell am I supposed to do? I will have to be chained up to keep me away from her if that happens. Guards will have to be outside of her rooms. I will be too bent on finding my mate and feral.
"Thane, did you go into a rut with Ayla?"
"Yes, not too long after I marked her. Why? Oh shit."
"Yeah, oh shit." I say.
"What shit?" Damon responds.
"The shit. The mate shit. Heats and ruts. Raven will be going into heat. But she also didn't the first time around."
"First time? You aren't her first mate?" Damon asks and I smack him in the back of the head.
"I am the only mate and her true mate. The other one is a dead Alpha walking."
"You better stop hitting me."
"You better stop saying dumb shit."
*Fireball: I am going to use the heat clinic.*
*Me: Looks like I am going back to work and the only Alpha to be scheduled.*
*Fireball: Then I will leave.*
*Me: Then I will follow you.*
*Fireball: Why? So, you can mark me against my will?*
*Me: SO, I can take care of my mate. I have a responsibility to do so. I would never mark you against your will. I will prove it. Let's have sex tonight and I promise you will be mark free. Well, mating mark free anyway. My mouth will get carried away in other places.”*
Thinking about marking my mate with my teeth and mouth has my dick getting hard in this too close of quarters vehicle. "Bunny rabbits, grandmas, kicking pups. Bunny rabbits, grandmas, kicking pups." I repeat trying to will Cyrus #2 back down.
"What are you rambling about?" Damon questions, going to be wishing he didn't in a few seconds.
"I am thinking about things to get my erection to go away."
"Gross." Damon responds.
"Shouldn't be so nosey then."
"I take it, the conversation is going well then?" Thane asks.
"No. No, it is not. She is talking about using the heat clinic if she needs it. She would rather bang stranger wolves than her own mate." I shake my head in disbelief as Artemis growls and wants to go feral inside of my mind. Me too buddy.
Fireball: No. I am not talking about this with you anymore. If I go into heat, I will go to the heat clinic. I will not have you help me through my heat when you know as well as I do that it will not help us stay apart.
*Me: PERFECT. That is what needs to happen.*
*Fireball: WHY WON'T YOU LISTEN TO ME?*
*Me: BECAUSE YOU ARE TALKING STUPID NONSENSE!*
*Fireball: I AM NOT STUPID*
*Me: YOUR IDEA OF KEEPING US APART IS THE MOST IDIOTIC THING I HAVE EVER HEARD AND I HAVE BEEN STUCK IN THE CAR WITH DAMON FOR TWELVE HOURS STRAIGHT. I WILL BE HOME SOON AND WE WILL BE DISCUSSING THIS.*
*Fireball: NO, WE WONT. I DON'T EVEN WANT TO SEE YOU WHEN YOU GET BACK.*
"Oh, this damn......blessed......freaking......mate of mine.... ooooooo when I tell you.... damn she's infuriating!" I stammered out, gritting my teeth and squeezed my phone trying to hold in all the profanity I want to let fly. Instead, I toss my phone and lean back and close my eyes, allowing all the plans I have rolling around to shift through my brain. What am I going to do now? I take a deep breath and decide to use the rest of the car ride to calm myself down and think about how to win her over.
Screw that. Several hours later, we pulled into the pack house parking lot. It is well past midnight when Thane drops me off and I would love to pass out in my, well Thane's old bed, but no. My hours spent in the car attempting to calm myself down failed.
She wants to use the heat clinic. Really? Yeah no. Hard pass girlfriend. Not happening. I bypass the elevators and head straight down the stairs heading for the weapons rooms. I type in my code and get a retina scan to head in.
Thane is serious about his weapons; it strengthens our friendship.
I headed through the room to the adjacent one holding all my toys, aka explosives. I grab bricks and bricks of cyclotrimethylene-trinitramine better known as C4, detonator cords and blasting caps. I shove all my toys into a duffel bag and head up and out of the weapons rooms. Technically, I should sign this shit out, but Thane will know soon enough.
I hot wire Damon's car and drive it into town and head straight to the heat clinic. She wants to use the clinic...good luck with that shit. I reach the parking lot and there are no lights on which means that nobody is in heat.
Perfect.
Do I care about the what ifs right now? No.
I break out the window and crawl in. No need to worry about alarms. They never set them if there aren't she-wolves here. I hate this damn place now.
Maybe I should have brought more explosives? Nah, this will be enough.
I make my way around the building putting cords and caps together and stabbing them into the C4 bricks and planting them around the building. I weave my cords together throughout the building. I have enough cord here to probably go 1000 yards. Plenty of room to get away from this big ass explosion.
I make my way through the building. 20 bricks of M112 blocks of C-4, weighing about 1.25 pounds each are scattered throughout the building. Probably overkill considering each one will demolish a vehicle.
Maybe not enough?
No, this is fine.
By the time they open a new one, Fireball will have had her heat already. With me.
I exit through the broken window instead of the front door because this is a stealth mission and make my way through the parking lot. I watch for a little while, making sure that there are no other shifters around, and listen for the heat clinic phones ringing.
They don't.
I duck down behind my vehicle, flip my switch and push the button, blowing the whole damn building sky high. Too much C4.
I run further away for cover after debris starts raining down around me. Yeah, Damon will be pretty pissed. Should have kept his mouth shut about my situation. I am sure his car can be easily fixed.
A large chunk of concrete hits the roof of his car and it smashes in. The alarm immediately starts and the lights flash.
Well damn.
Oh well. Mission accomplished. I step back and survey my work as the dust settles. The flames lick the sky high, and a crowd starts to form. Time to go.
