I can tell Little Wolf has been anxious all day just by entering her rooms. The smell of lavender mixed with bile and tainted with fear is thick in here. I have to do something to change that. To calm my omega.

"This weekend, say you will be mine." I ask nervously. I am the Alpha of the largest pack in the country. I fear nothing and nobody, yet my heart rate accelerates, and I feel anxious butterflies while I await her answer.

"When you go into heat, it will be intense. For both of us. I will go into a rut for part of it at least. We will both be driven by primal instincts, but I don't want to do anything you don't want to do, you will only have some moments of clarity. We don't know how long it will last since it will be your first unforced heat, and I don't want you to go into heat if you are too afraid to. Eric thinks he has something that can suppress it."

I continue to rub with both of my thumbs while I await her answer. I know it is a lot to consider, but I would be a liar if I said I wasn't hoping praying to the fates she would choose to have her heat with me.

And if someone tried to take it from you, I would end their existence." Her eyebrows rise to her hairline and eyes widen. Little wolf really has no idea what I would do for her.

"Before we have our first mating ceremony, first marking, and first heat. Can we have our first proper date?" I smile my dimples at her knowing that she can't resist them while I enjoy inhaling her sweet burst of perfume.

Yeah, we are going to move out of these rooms. Every unmated shifter in the building will be drawn here before too long.

"You want to take me out on a date?" she asks surprised.

"Yes, little wolf. Go get ready. Put on a nice dress. I will make us reservations, and we will have our first proper date. I will even leave, get ready and come back the proper way. You better answer the door when I return, or I will be heartbroken. Don't stand me up Ayla. I am very sensitive."

She chuckles to herself. I am not sure where this playful side of me is coming from, but little wolf is enjoying it. She makes me lighter. She relaxes me. I realize this must be what comfortable feels like.

I am content.

"Alright. I will get ready. I wouldn't dare stand you up. You saved me. I will always be there for you." Ayla tells me sweetly, melting down my once frozen heart.

"I will always come for you Little Wolf. Always." I pull her to me by the back of her neck and give her a passionate kiss. Demanding, I run my tongue over her lips, and she gives me access. I snake my fingers into her hair and move her head back and forth to how I want it. Both of kissing feverishly, demanding each other gives up their all.
