Cyrus

Dead and gone. Take me out back. I have buttered my last bisquit. All prayers to the fates have gone unheard because I am getting tapped on my shoulder and I would rather die than turn around. So I don't, but that doesn't go unoticed because Mandy comes around my right side, looking up at me attempting to turn and force me to look at her. I however am staring at my mate who is staring at the hand on my upper pec. I know enough that any movement of the slightest could get all involved killed or the least severly injured just by the look I see in Raven's eyes. Full of rage and blood lust. Her wolf probably surging sensing the threat to her mating bond. Both of our wolves are on edge enough without this issue. The longer we go unmated, the worse it will get.

I turn my head while I remove her hand from me slowly and look down at Mandy, trying to muster as much disdain as possible. I don't dislike these she-wolves, they are just non-existent to me now. If the only way to keep them away from me and my mate is making them think that I hate them, so be it. My mating bond is more important and I don't want Raven to ever think they mattered. "What do you want?" I say flatly. "What do I want? You cancelled Orgy Wednesday and never re-scheduled. You won't even text us back!" "That's because I blocked you two." I say as I turn back to fireball, taking a drink from the fruity death fur pitcher as I try not to make it obvious that I saw fireball swipe the beer bottle off of the bar and now holds it down next to hear, ready to use. Using it isn't even what bothers me about this situation. It's the fact that the speed in which I saw or rather barely saw Raven swipe that bottle and ready it for use was unatural. Too fast for a shifter. She has to be like Ayla or something is going on that I can't explain right now, but spells a bloodbath for these girls in a second.

"Why would you block us Cyrus? We didn't do anything to you." she whines and it is so annoying. Always has been, but they give top. "I'm mated. This is my Mate, Raven." "Mated? You don"t smell mated." Mindy Interjects then Mandy interrupts with "We don't mind. The more the merrier." "I don't share." Fireball states in her murder voice. Fantastic. "I will kill anyone that tries to touch what's mine." I tell them now using my own murder voice. Can't let my girl have all of the fun and I definitely won't share. "It really isn't that..."is all Mindy gets out while making the mistake of reaching for my arm, the next sound she makes is the cracking sound as her nose hits the bar between where Raven and I stand. She then is thrown backward into Mandy who is screaming as blood pours out of Mindy's nose and down the front of her dress. All of this happening in the matter of seconds. Someone off in the crowd screams and pulls me out of my stupor.

"GET HER THE FUCK OUT OF HERE NOW CYRUS! DON'T BRING HER ASS BACK IN HERE EVER AGAIN." Sam screams from somewhere behind the bar. I could care less. I grab fireball's wrist and haul her out of here. If the whole place erupts in a brawl there is no telling how many people she could hurt. I have never seen a shifter move that fast in my life. She is laughing behind me, quite loudly actually. I am glad she thinks this is funny. Artemis is glad his mate is strong, but he too is pushing me to tear up everyone in there. "This isn't funny Raven." "Oh, it's Raven now that I am a problem and not fireball huh?"

I whirl on her "you aren't a problem. I don't give a shit you broke her nose. She shouldn't touch me because I am yours. I am pissed off because you shouldn't be moving that fast in front of the others." "You know?" she asks, looking shocked. "Any shifter with half a brain can see that the speed of your movement is not natural. You need to keep that underwraps until the ring is taken down. You don't want to go back and we don't know how deep this thing is." I turn back around, taking her hand and dragging her to the car. Her hand fits perfectly in mine. I open the passenger side door as she scowls at me but climbs in anyway. I sandwhich myself in and peel out of the parking lot, heading back to the pack house.

"Thane's chewing my ass in the mind-link for this little incident. Any more pack destruction and I think the two of us could be in some serious shit fireball." "She deserved it." "That she did fireball. This pack would be a lot safer if we smelled mated." "Probably a lot more orgy members huh?" "None of them matter. They never mattered. Just dumb shifters doing dumb shit." "You really expect me to stay in a pack where everywhere I turn someone has banged my mate? And don't get me started about the heat clinic!" she yells at me. "That doesn't count. That is an act of charity." I argue back. "Charity You have to be joking." "I'm not. What is this about anyway? You said you were going to use the clinic anyway so you can't hold that work against me." "I don't care that you worked there." "Doesn't sound like it. This car handles nice." "Shut up Cyrus." "Don't get mad at me just because you publically claimed me in front of all those shifters. You want me baby. Quit fighting it. Also, we are to be in Thane's office at 8AM so we better get to sleep." she growls next to me, sinking deeper into her seat. "All that growling is just making me hard fireball. You better stop." I shift in my seat, repositioning myself.

The rest of the drive is quiet as I pull into the pack house parking and follow fireball to the door, practically stomping. She has to wait on me to let her into the building though, so there's that. She doesn't have to wait on me for the elevator though and attempts to close the door before I get in which she fails to do. I slide into the elevator in time and turn to stare at my mate. The air thickens around us as the bond thrums deep within my chest. "We need to talk." I state. "Not tonight. Ask me tomorrow." she replies. I nod and turn away knowing that all I will get is to see her, but won't hear anything more out of her tonight.
