A gift, a happy ending so to speak in the saga that was my life. I am anxious to start a new one with my fated mate.

Ayla does her best to fix her hair in the car ride over before she decides to unpin it all and let it flow, which is fine by me. I love running my fingers through her long white strands. My bite mark is on full display as the shifters bow and show their necks in submission and clapping for us. We make our way down a center aisle to another smaller stage where the elder in the red robe sits, patiently waiting.

"Took you long enough to find her Alpha Thane." James smirks at me. "No James, that isn't what took so long." I smile back, partly lying through my teeth as I pull a blushing Little Wolf close to my side. Aramana did an amazing job hiding her scent, but it wouldn’t have mattered to Ronan. He would find her anywhere.

"Fellow shifters we are ready to start the ceremony. It will be short, as you can see Alpha Thane was able to prove himself worthy and has claimed his mate Ayla.” The crowd erupts cheering and clapping.

“I understand that Alpha would like to say a few words before we proceed.”

"That is right James, I would." I turn to Ayla, her eyes wide and I know I will hear about this later, but I have some words for my Little Wolf.
