Chapter 132: I Am Going To Date Your Sister 

Callan

The guy with a bloody face stood up and tried grabbing a stool. He rammed it halfway into my side before I caught it, using it as a weapon against him now. I knocked it into his chest and when he stumbled back, I swung the thing in the air and knocked it off his back. He dropped to the ground and suddenly all these arms were pulling me off.

“Get the fuck off me!” I hollered at whoever was touching me.

“Callan, what the fuck are you doing?” I realized it was my cousin and probably Bryce behind me. The old man must have called them to let them know I was in a fight. They were probably down the street at the restaurant.

When they got me on my feet, the two of them blocked me from the guy who I already put on the floor, each one of them. I straightened my jacket out and shucked their hand off.

“He spilled on my pants.” I waved down to the three little wet idiots, Bryce shook his head and Angelo snorted a laugh.

“Here for the damage, sorry about that, old man.” Bryce reached into his pocket and counted through some cash, he threw the money down on the counter and walked me out of there.

Once we walked far enough away from the bar, he stopped me on the sidewalk.

“Why are you in that bar starting trouble? What the hell has been up with you?” He asked me, when I didn't respond, he continued.

“I swear, Callan, if this is about Brianna…” he said her name and I lost it 

“You will what?” I stepped forward but Angelo blocked me.

“Hey, sober up.” Angelo tried knocking sense into me.

“Is it about her?” He asked again.

“Do you actually want to know the answer to that or do you just feel like yelling at me?” I asked him.

“I want to know.” He rounded his shoulder, ready for a fight. Here we go again.

“Yes, it is about her.” I said outright.

“You son of a bitch.” He went to step forward but again Angelo was between us.

“Hey, I have let you two duke it out once before, enough!” Angelo scolded us.

“What is it? What are you mad about? Have you been talking to her even after you promised me you wouldn't?” Bryce asked, I swiped my hand down my face and then sucked my teeth when I realized there was blood on it. I wiped it on my sleeve, fúck it. I am Callan Harold, the Don and the owner of this city. I am sick of tip-toeing around my best friend.

“Yes, Bryce, I still talk to your sister.” I put my hands up like ‘oh well’ he wanted to charge me so badly, I could see his chest puffing in short angry breath while I just stood there on the sidewalk waiting for it.

“Oh, now you decided to tell me the truth. You have been fucking lying to me this whole damn time. Did you go to London to see my sister? I knew it was bullshit but I let myself believe it was for Jane.” He was shaking his head at himself.

“I will be honest with you, you just aren't going to like it.” I said to him straight up.

“Go ahead, asshole.” He gave me the green light.

“Yes, I went to London to see your sister.” I admitted and he laughed.

“Even after you promised me you would stay away from her! Our brother promised, you still went after that?” He was revved up.

“I did,” I nodded. He came for me but Angelo was holding him back pretty good.

“Are you still fucking my sister?” He asked.

“Yes, I am,” I nodded.

“You piece of shít,” his eyes blazed into mine.

“I tried, Bryce. I tried staying away but it didn't work. I can't go more than a couple of weeks.” I shrugged at him.

“How many times have you seen her?” He was tryna pace but Angelo had a block on him.

“The time you know about and I went to France when you were in China and I didn't go to see my father, I went back to London with Brianna. And I am probably going back to London next week because she is mad at me and she fucking left the other day without telling me she was leaving.” I was the one getting angry now.

“Are you fucking kidding me? You have been lying to me about everything huh? You and her are just lying to my face all the time.” He cracked his knuckles.

“She didn't know I was coming, you can't blame her.” I let him know.

“Don't fucking defend her, Callan. What the hell did you want with my sister? I know you have been fucking around with girls here, I have seen you, so what the fuck are you doing with her? Why are you betraying your best friend for this huh?” He stopped moving because he really wanted to hear the answer to this.

“Listen, Bryce, hit me if you want to, I deserve it. But you aren't keeping me away from her, get pissed if you want to, I won't lie to you anymore.” I let him know.

“You heard him, let me beat sense into him.” He shoved past Angelo, I sighed and tucked my hands behind my back, letting him swing at me. He connected with my face so hard that I actually stumbled.

“You broke an oath, you preach code and fucking loyalty and look at you! You fucking lie to me every day?” He came at me again, he hit me good.

“Fuck, that is enough, guys!” Angelo came back between us, I put my hands out to shrug to him.

“What can I do? You wouldn't let me see her.”

“Callan, you fúck around with whores all the fucking time! Would you want your sister touching someone like you, huh? Be fucking honest with one of us here. Would you want your sister to be with a mother-fucker like yourself?” He asked. I licked my lips and shrugged again.

“No, but I still buy her presents and talk to her on the phone everyday. I  still go see her when I can. What can I do?” I kept my hands out, he slapped the wall of the building beside us. He was screaming in the streets and people know us here, so that is a show I wasn't tryna be a part of.

“So, what are you saying? Do you like my sister because I don't believe you. You don't have human fucking feelings, that is why you can betray me so easily. You don't feel shit.” He accused me.

“Yes, I know, I am a prick, I know it.” I agreed with him and it made him more mad.

“Then what the fúck do you want?” He asked the question I haven't been letting me even ask myself.

“I want to bring her home, Bryce.” I muttered.

Angelo's head did a double take as well as Bryce's.

“For what? To be with you?” He was laughing at me now and I gritted my teeth.

“Something like that.” I didn't give him the outright answer because I don't want to answer that.

“Something like that?” He repeated my words as though they were a question.

“You aren't going to mess with Brianna's head and make her move back here for you. She is living her dream in London, Callan. And I won't fucking let you.” He said, I had enough of this.

“I will find another fucking job for her. I have let you yell and throw your goddamn tantrum and I have had enough. I have been with a stool and fists and I have a damn headache. I am going home tonight and I am going to London in a week or two because now I am going to be all bruised. I will have to wait for that to fucking heal, so thank you.” I tipped my hat off to him before bounding off.

I heard Angelo called after him because he came running after me. I turned and quickly grabbed him, shoving him into the wall. We were grabbing each other's collar and gritting our teeth. I spoke nice and show, so the motherfucker could really hear me.

“If Brianna comes back to Port Harcourt with me, I am going to date your sister. Say what you want to me but if you make her feel like shit about it, I will come for you. You are my best friend and I know I betrayed you but I couldn't stay away, Bryce. Understand that.” I shoved him off and walked away.

I am going to London in a week's time and I am definitely going to bring Brianna back to Port Harcourt. I have had enough of all this bullshit. Time for action. 

NB: End of flashback on Callan's behavior a month ago. Next chapter will be for the present time.
