Chapter 239: Don't Do This To Me 

Brianna

“Yes, go handle it.” I waved Callan off.

“Not until I know this didn't just fúck everything up.” His eyes darted around my face to try and read me.

“It fucked everything up, Callan. It fucked everything up.”

I don't even know how he thinks it couldn't, he fisted his hair and released a harsh breath.

“Brianna, don't.” He stepped up to me.

“Don't what? I didn't do anything!” 

I was so mad that I was shaking, maybe it wasn't just being mad. It is the adrenaline of nerves and confusion and heart ache again. I did this to myself again.

“You are going to shut me out, just let yourself calm down and listen to what the fúck I am saying to you. She doesn't matter, it was a mistake and I am going to fix it.” His eyes continued to dance around my face to see what I was thinking.

He looked unsure of himself for the first time, I can't explain the expression but it is not one I have seen before.  We heard someone enter the room and both of us shifted our heads to see who it was. Jane and Gelo were standing there, trying to read the situation.

“Callan, we shouldn't go. Let Brianna chill for a bit.” Angelo gave his cousin a look.

“No, not until you tell me you have heard what I am saying.” His eyes returned to me.

I shook my head and looked down at my feet. I  hated the witnesses because they all must think I am an idiot for letting this shít happen to me repeatedly. Callan find new ways to say fuck you every month and I stupidly come back for more of it.

“I heard what you are saying but you need to hear what I am saying.” I found the strength to look up. He rolled his jaw and wiped his hands on his thighs.

“What are you saying?” He asked in a strained voice, I couldn't look at his face. It was setting this searing pain off inside me and threatening to bring back my tears.

“I can't do this.” I threw my hands up in defeat. His nostrils flared and he really grabbed me this time.

“Brianna,” he said desperately.

If Hannah is pregnant, I can't do this. I can't be okay with it, I can't try to build something with him when he has a different woman pregnant and starting a family with him. I can't let him claim her the way he claimed me. If he knew half of what that meant to me, he would understand. He would understand why everything just fucking fell apart and we were stepping all over it.

“Callan,” Angelo started coming forward.

“Brianna,” Callan followed my turning body. He grabbed at my arms and turned me back. I was trying to turn my head away so he wouldn't see me cry again. I hate being weak for men.

“Come on, Callan. Just…” Angelo didn't get to finish.

“Just give me a fucking minute!” He shoved off his cousin and tried pulling me to him.

“Don't fucking this to me, Brianna.” His words made me whirled around.

“Do this to you? You are doing this to me! To us! Damn you, Callan! Damn you!” I shouted at him.

“Baby girl, I will fucking fix it. I will fix it.” He repeated to get the point across.

“What are you going to do? Force an abortion on her? Fuck off, Callan.” I chuckled because I couldn't breathe.

I couldn't say anything else without completely falling apart.

Callan POV

I was trying to get her to listen to me, I needed her to understand that none of that meant shít to me and that I will fix this. Hannah isn't pregnant, she can't be. She likes the drama of it all, I will fix it.

“Callan,” I kept hearing Angelo's damn voice trying to get me to leave.

I am not fucking leaving until this is fixed or this is going end up just like everything else we never resolved. She would run away from it and we would go weeks , even months without fixing it. I will fix it.

“She is lying,” I blurted out.

Brianna looked at me with this expression that showed me just how disgusted she was in me and I hated it.

“No, she isn't. I know a woman's face when she is telling the truth, she is telling the truth and she is worried.” She told me in a spiteful tone.

I don't know where Jane was but she had been quiet this whole time which is unlike her. As for my cousin, I could feel him right behind me, trying to lead me away.

“I am so dumb, I thought I was special when all you wanted was to raw dog it for your own pleasure.” She started off sad but snarled by the end of it.

“You know that isn't true.”

I didn't just do it because I feel good, I wanted there to be no barrier and she wanted that too. I was claiming her every time I cum inside her, I had been the only man to do it and I wanted it to stay that way. And I fucked it up, I didn't only do it with her. She saved herself for me and I fucked it up over what? Some revenge plot against the fucking Blank Knight prick. He must be laughi in hell, he must be overjoyed that my fucking his ex fiance would in turn push the girl I am with away. I took his girl and he is taking mine. Fuck.

“Brianna, say something. You know that isn't true.”

I had to repeat myself because I felt like she was not hearing me here.

“Please, leave.” She turned away.

She turned her back towards me, I came and pulled her against me. Her back flushed against my front and I brought my mouth to ear so I cloud speak without these other fucking people in our business.

“I was a different person when we weren't speaking, Brianna. I was in a dark fucking place, don't count those time towards what we started up now.” I spoke softly in her ear but I didn't like the sound of my voice. I fucking hate this shit.

“And what did we start up now, Callan? Every time I think I have you, I get a slap right to the face when I find out how very wrong and stupid I was.” She had so much venom in her tone but I still had her held against me. She hasn't pushed me off yet.

“You are not stupid, that whole thing was stupid. All of that was stupid.” I tried to explain.

Say what you need to say, Callan. The words were stuck in my throat, I wasn't saying the right things here. She started shoving me off and I squeezed her tighter.

“Get off, Callan! Get off!” She yelled at me, Angelo pried my arm off her even though I just wanted to talk into her ear and have her fucking hear me. To really hear me.

“Brianna.” I tried one time. She walked into the bathroom and Angelo's hold made her slip right through my fingers. When the door was shut, I tried for the handle but she had locked it so quickly.

“Fuck, Brianna.  Come on.” I was so damn frustrated.

“Out, Callan. I am not playing around.” Jane's voice suddenly emerged from behind me. She shoved her body between me and the door and crossed her arms.  I fisted my hair.

Is this really happening again? I can't fucking breathe, my chest heaving again. The same familiar flame ignited in my gut, no, I can't stand the heat burning me from the inside out. I have already fucking done this. I think one of them said my name but I stumbled backwards and went for the front door. I can't damn breathe, I tried sucking in some air.

“Callan, she will calm down. It will be alright.” Angelo followed after me.

I can't let this fire start burning inside me again, I lost it. Jane has this mini bush tree  that I just started kicking, I just started kicking the shit out of the bush tree until it started to bend and eventually cracked right through the stem of it. It was about as thick as my forearm, but I cracked that shit until it fell down and then I kicked it some more.

“Fuck, Callan, com on. Don't do this to yourself.” He tried talking to me.

“I can't fucking breathe, Angelo. How the fúck does this keep happening to me? I can't…” I stumbled away from the bush and started walking down the street.

No way I can sit behind the wheel of my car right now which I had driven here and quickly.

“Hey!” I heard the jogging feet of Angelo. I was fisting my hair and stopped short to steady my hands on my knees. I literally can't breathe right now.
