Chapter 154: You Are You Are A Goddess A Goddess

“Do you know what the best revenge is? Indifference, if you ignore all that.” Jane waved over at her brother in disgust.

“And just have genuine fun tonight, it will translate even louder than him practically fucking a girl in front of you. Callan fucks dirty babies, he always has, be the bigger villain.” She told me.

“You brother is literally a live action villain and a damn good one. He is a dark violent criminal.” I deadpanned, she laughed instead of being offended by that statement.

“So what? This isn't about guns and money, this is about sex and war.” She winked and pulled me back onto the dance floor. I was feeling sick to my stomach at the sight of them. I don't know how she thinks I will be able to just ignore it and have fun.

“We need to get Bryce out of here, then all the guys will come flirt with you.” She continues with her plan.

“I will get him out of here, hold on.” She said so confidently before walking off.

I thought she would walk over to him but she didn't. She walked up to some girl and whispered into her ear, they made a few hand gestures before Jane just turned on her heel and came back over to me.

“What the hell was that?” I had to ask her, and her famous smirk appeared.

“I told my friend Cammy to go screw around with your brother in the restroom for a bit.” I cringed.

“Oh my goodness.” I huffed.

Sure enough I saw the same girl walk across the room to my brother. She is such a beautiful girl, so I know she doesn't have to try very hard to get a guy to agree to that.

“Why would she just randomly do that for you?” I asked, but my eyes couldn't leave the two. I wanted to see if he would go with her.

“She is slutty, your brother is hot and so is she. It is not like I asked her to do something not fun.” Shd deadpanned, I pinched the bridge of my nose but didn't comment further.

“Bingo!” She exclaimed when Bryce took the girl's hand and disappeared with her.

“Now go, step a little closer to the sectionals.” She guided us closer to where Callan was literally feasting on this girl's face.

Can I do this? I at least turned my back to him, so I wouldn't have to witness it. I guess I also effectively showed my bare back and ass to the guys who have been looking at me all night. Jane smiled at someone behind me and bit her lips, tipping her head ever so slightly in an insinuation that he should come here

“It is too easy.” She shook her head.

All these guys look very local, not many of them were cute but letting them first with me isn't a crime.

“Hey, beautiful.” Some guy smiled at Jane.

“Has anyone introduced you guys to Brianna yet? She doesn't know anyone here.” She fakes a frown. Her eyes shifted to me and he licked his lip.

“Bryce mentioned you but I would like to formally introduce myself. I am Frank Costell.” He extended his hand, I took it and shook it.

“I am Brianna in case you forgot.” I felt odd not giving my name, he chuckled.

“Trust me, beautiful you aren't forgeable.” He charmed me.

I would've called him smoking hot but he had the wave of chocolate hair and shapely lips that went well with his troublemaker grin and demeanor. It made him more attractive than he actually is. He looked over his shoulder a few times and I can only assume it is because he is looking for my brother.

“He is fucking around with Cammy.” Jane replied to his unasked question. A grin split across his lips, he turned his body more towards me and took another look at me.

“You know you are the prettiest girl in here, don't you?” Again, he tried to charm me.

“I think that is what guys say to just about every girl they walk up to until one is stupid enough to believe him.” I teased, he laughed and ran a hand down his jaw.

“I think you know that with you, I actually mean it. You got every guy in here breaking his neck for you.” He said in his Port Harcourt accent. Callan doesn't have one, his voice is sexy and perfect and I need to stop thinking about it.

Before I could open my mouth and say anything else we were joined by another one of the guys who were at that table. He slapped Frank hard on the back and checked me out.

“I am Roy Vortex.” The guy took my hand and kissed the back of it. I bit the inside of my cheek to hide my amusement. I will say, out of all the guys here tonight, not including the obvious man that Roy Vortex is the most attractive one here.  Dark hair and hazel eyes, he has good bone structure and I think that was what makes him the more attractive one.

“Are you Hannah's brother?” I asked him, I recognized his last name.

“Cousin,” he shook his head.

“So you are Bryce's little sister. We have heard of you in passing but you are an elusive little thing. Now I see why Fletcher was scarce on the details, you are pretty and really stunning. He doesn't want a single one of us near you.” He chuckled which resonated deep inside his chest.

Frank was trying to elbow back into the conversation, Jane was just smiling and standing around. She wanted the attention on me because it is not like they aren't looking at her either, she is gorgeous. I am just fresh meat.

“Do you need anything to drink, darling?” Roy asked as he noticed our empty hands.

I had a couple drinks already but I also danced a lot and burned it all off so I wasn't drunk or anything. I shrugged that we could go grab some drinks. Roy didn't waste time guiding me over to the private bar here by the small of my back, because my dress was dipped so I could feel the heat of his hand. Frank was pissed that his friend just stole me away, so he kept up with us.

“Get anything you like, sweetheart, he will put it on my tab.” He let me know like the smooth talker he is. I thanked him and ordered my drink, Jane ordered one too and of course Roy paid for hers.

A third guy suddenly appeared and whispered something to Frank. He flipped him off but Roy was sure to ignore both his friends and kept his focus solely on me. Smart.

“Hey, pretty.” The third guy was about to round his friend to say hello to me. Roy was quick though and body checked him.

“Excuse me, I think they are calling you.” Roy diverted the guy's attention and just as quickly his hand at the small of my back again, leaning me away. I laughed and he smirked.

“What?” He asked, he was in a gray button down shirt and dark slack. I guess he is a suit man too.

The more you look at him, the more you notice little handsome features. I think I will stick with this guy, he seems like a good enough time and if I stop to think about who was behind me making out with a girl, I will break.

“Nothing, you are just very smooth.” I called him out.

“A man has to be, if he wants to gain the attention of someone like you” He shrugged.

Oh, he is good at this.

“Someone like me? And what am I?” I decided to fish a little bit. Roy licked his bottom lips and his eyes worked over me again.

“A goddess, apparently.” He said outright, I couldn't help the small smile 

“Look at you.” He shook his head at my smile. It actually made me blush but I hope he can't see that with my makeup on.

“Oh, stop,” I waved him off. He shrugged.

“I am serious.” I took a sip of my drink, so I didn't respond right away. It didn't stop his eyes from taking in every inch of me.

“As soon as your brother sees me talking to you, he is going to want to give me a beating. I think I am going to take my chances on the beating because I am not planning on walking away any time soon, darling. So long as you let me.” He added in quickly at the end and gave me his troublesome smirk.

He must get the girls crazy for his words if he is this smooth about it.

“You haven't given me a reason to leave yet.” I gave him his props. He smirked but covered it with the lip of his drink as he took a sip.
