Chapter 68: Is There Anyone New?

“We weren't participating tonight.” Callan replied and I didn't even realize that they were complimenting us because they wanted to play with us.

The idea of that shocked me, but also sent a tingle into the base of my spine. I can't imagine it, Callan pulled me to him again and the couple didn't push the matter at all. It was all about consent here which I like. Would I feel safe enough to ever participate? I don't know. Watching Callan masturbate had thrilled me, but that was just him and I in a private moment. “Why?” 

We barely scratched the surface, he looked around us as he spoke.

“It is getting busier, it was just a walk through. And you have walked through.” He pointed out and when I sighed, he added.

“No, that can't happen again.” His tone was serious, I sighed but nodded.

He took me by the hand and led me out of there. We could have had so many adventures here, instead we barely watched and left so soon. It was what he said he would do, he didn't promise to stay so long and he wasn't the only one affected though. I received the most unexpected call today by an old friend from school back in Buguma, she wasn't ready from there. She is just an overall super stylish and cool girl, we had gotten along well. Although she had been a year above me and graduated and moved back to her country before my senior year of school. She is a fashion blogger and photographer, she has got pretty steady followers now which I am so happy for her. She is such a beautiful girl with a unique sense of style and she wears a lot of harnesses and styles them with designer outfits, shoes and lots of designer bags. Her hair was also unique to her style, dyed an ash-gray color that stands out. She wears berets as often as I do but her style is more edgy especially with all the tattoos she has.

Sandra had kind of reminded me of her for that reason, though Rose has a completely clean face and four cute freckles on the bridge of her nose. She is known as the tattooed fashionista. I really liked her when I was around her in school. She has got a pretty smile that is disarming, she follows my fashion page. So of course, she knew I was now living in Port Harcourt which was why she was calling in the first place. She is in the city for a few days and upon hearing about this, I immediately told her we should meet up. It was the weekend, that means the perfect time to meet up because I wouldn't have work the following day. I knew she would want us to go out, I work till seven in the night, but I always ask Zaveri if I could go home early. I told him my friend was visiting which he totally understood and let me off the hook super early. I decided to take her to dinner at a trendy restaurant nearby. 

She showed up in a stylish outfit like she was doing and I was wearing my designer outfits as well. We saw each other coming from opposite ends of the sidewalk and we rushed to one another, leaving nothing but the sound of clicking heels between us.

“Don't you look posh?” When hugged me and then pulled me away at arms length to check me out.

I love her accent, it makes everything she says sound cooler.

“How are you? It has been forever.” I smiled genuinely at her.

Although I said I didn't leave my friend behind in Buguma, I genuinely did like a few people there. I just knew that part of my life was over and moved on. Since we were right at the entrance to the restaurant, we linked arms and decided to walk in to grab a table before things got too busy inside.

“So what is new? Tell me everything.” I opened the start of our conversation once we were seated.

“Same old, I am still living with my parents. I do my blog and shop too much.” She grinned at me and it made me laugh.

“Big move for you, how do you like it here?” She looked around us, referring to Port Harcourt.

“My brother is here, I knew I wanted to move back to him after school. So the idea of coming here was in the back of my mind already and I think it suits me.” I shrugged.

“Absolutely, you look fantastic.” She compliment me, which means a lot because I loved and admired her style and effortlessness. I told her I worked at a tattoo shop which she found to be so interesting and that I would show her the place if we have time.

“So, I was  looking something up, I wanted to go to the club tonight. Are you in?” She asked, I knew this was coming.

“Yes, I have already chosen an outfit. I chuckled at myself.

“Wonderful.” Her awesome accent made even the simplest word sound fun.

We ended up catching up over dinner and talked about school and old mutual friends we had.

“What happened to Chase? I thought the two of you got on?” She asked.

“We did at the time, we never labeled it as anything and kept things fun. I honestly didn't want a relationship.” She nodded in understanding but then mischief played over her face.

“Is there anyone new?” She asked and instantly my mind went to one man.

“There is? Well, which bloke is he? She pressed on. 

I hadn't had anyone to talk about Callan with and I realized now was a rare opportunity where I could. I told her everything, it was like everything came bareskin out once I opened my mouth. I told her how dark and mysterious he was and how devastatingly handsome and sexy he was. I told her about our sexual tension and the few encounters we have shared privately between us. We were talking over drinks which is probably what loosened me up enough to admit to some of that.

“That is super hot, I love it.” She replied.

“It is  so hard to stay away from him though.” I sighed at how all this really ends.

“Why don't you tell your brother then? Have a snog and get it over with. This guy isn't a husband material babes, you live out your hot fantasy and move on.” She leaned on the table and placed her head against her fist, waiting for my response to that.

Her hands have a few small tattoos on the knuckles, tattooed hands that remind me of Callan. Everything seems to.

“I can't do that to Bryce, Callan feels the same way.” I shrugged.

“I want to meet this brother of yours, if he looks anything like you, then I know the bloke is hot.” She bit her lips playfully and I snorted a laugh and shook my head.
