Off Limits, Brother's Best Friend Chapter 16
Chapter 16: Thank You
Brianna
“I have checked it out before.” Sandra shrugged and she wasn't embarrassed about it.
“They throw events sometimes like bondage patties and stuff.” I cringed.
“And my brother goes there, I would have rather not known that.” I covered my face.
“They own it and run it but I don't know if they participate.” Her response made me feel a little better.
I guess it was just a lucrative business if they were making the kind of money they were making. Picturing Callan in a sex club was making my skin hot, I had seen him in an intimate moment of pleasuring himself, imagine him in a building dedicated to that and him partially naked and cruising for a hot single. Him being a dominant man I know he is, he must steal the show if he participates. I can't think of that, I shook my head and cleared my throat.
“Well then.” I said to end that topic.
Are those businesses enough to make that kind of money those men make? I have some googling to do later.
“What are you thinking about? I see that face.” She flung her hair over her tattooed shoulder, leaning on the counter so she would be close to me.
“Nothing,” I lied but when she persisted, I decided to speak up.
“They make a lot of money there?” I asked and she nodded.
“Yes, they do.” She replied and we both stared at each other for a second. She didn't say anything else on the matter so either she doesn't know or she isn't willing to tell me anymore.

When I got back home, both men were on the couch with whiskey in their hands and a game on. I paused and they looked over, my brother was already in casual wear but Callan was still in his suit as he always seems to be.
“I saw all the bags David had to bring up here. You almost killed the poor guy.” Bryce teased, I fidgeted with my fingers and smiled sheepishly.
“I may have gone overboard but I couldn't help it, I was surrounded by beautiful things. You have no idea how much I loved that, seriously, I have so much pretty stuff.” I gushed.
“But it looks like more than two thousand worth.” He said and I glanced at Callan because I wasn't sure if he wanted that to be kept a secret.
“I gave her a little birthday gift too.” He muttered while he swirled his pour of whiskey before taking a sip. Bryce looked at him on the opposite end of the couch.
“You didn't have to do that man.” He said and Callan waved it off.
Again, he was sitting on the couch like a boss. Legs in a wide stance and one arm draped over the back. His eyes were on me but returned to my brother when he spoke.
“You see, the girl is happy and that is what matters.” He pointed at me standing there in glee and my brother let it go.
“Well, go get the stuff then, I know you want to show it off.” I grinned and ran up the stairs, excited he was willing to endure me gushing over my new things.
I had to bring everything down in two trips and then pulled things out one by one and showed them who sat back in their seats and watched me. I should be embarrassed to act this way in front of Callan but I was just too excited to care.
“You can't tell me this beret outfit isn't adorable.” I held the clothes up to my brother, he chuckled and shook his head.
Callan just gazed deeply into my every movement, heating my skin and I just hope my brother takes that as my being flush with excitement. Callan is the most intimidating man I ever met, he says nothing but even just his eyes on me are so overwhelming that I can barely stand it. After twirling around the living room with my new sunglasses on my face and beret on my head, I finally returned everything to its rightful place and came back downstairs.
“I just wanted to say thank you, you know for the money.” I looked between both of them.
They both nodded without a word, they spent too much time together and I was just standing in the middle of the living room. I wasn't sure if I should join them or just go hide up in my room like I always do.
“Did you spend it all?” Bryce interrupted my thoughts.
“No, I have five hundred left.” I grinned.
“Wow, you held restraints and left some cash?” He nodded.
“Umm..I ran out of time before my shift.” I laughed and so did he.
I felt Callan's eyes on me again as I was smiling which made me drop it. I started getting self conscious that my presence might be bothering him so I decided to grab something to eat in the kitchen before disappearing upstairs. I went on Instagram to check on my posts and saw great feedback. I wish I had friends who weren't online commenters. I feel lonely here and I figured I needed to get out and start meeting some people. It was only my first week here so I have time but still each night I sit alone in my room and just wish for some company. I am glad they let me share my excitement about my new clothes with them but still they did so out of pity not interest. An idea crossed my mind and I pulled out my laptop. It is time I research this sex club and nightclub of theirs. It is also time to do some math on how much income they are making through these businesses. I know there is some more to this story, though I can't fathom what. I will figure it out, I always do.
I wanted to know what my brother is hiding from me, would Callan tell me if I asked him outright? He has been there in the past when I brought it up and he seemed to shut me down just as much as my brother had. Why? When my stomach rumbled again, I decided to walk down to the kitchen and passed my brother in the hallway.
“Are you going to bed?” I asked.
“Yes, I have a lot of shit to do tomorrow.” He said and pinched my chin before going into his room.
I wish I could ask what he had to do tomorrow but I have learned that is futile. Without even thinking about it, I went downstairs with the assumption that Callan too was in his room. I found myself to be very wrong when I got to the bottom of the stairs and he was still on the couch. I tried walking right past the living room into the kitchen without even a glance at him, my heart rate had already picked up. I opened and closed the fridge, Callan had too much healthy food and I needed snacks.
“That cabinet has your snacks.” His deep voice interrupted my thoughts from behind and it made me flinch.
“Huh?”
