The moment I hear my twat of a mother say that Kelly has already left with her buyer I'm instantly raging. Raging at her for actually selling her own daughter and raged at myself for not getting here sooner. Luckily for me, my rage doesn't last long as after just a few minutes of her mouth moving I realize the one thing that's going to blow all of this out of the water. The one thing that has Alfie grinning in my head and my heart pounding a little less.

"Your lying!" I hiss out the words. "Excuse me?" My so-called mother spits my way.

"You are lying mother dearest."

"Don't you dare accuse me of lying you worthless piece of space!" Her face is scrunched up and it does nothing to help her already ugly ass face. "Your lying, You know it. Roland knows it and I know it."

"And what makes you say that?"

"I've known you my whole goddam life. I want my sister and I want her now!" I bellow out in my Gamma tone as I feel Alfie come to the front of my mind trying to take over.

"Ashley, are you sure?" I turn my head to my left the moment I hear Calvin's voice.

"I'm sure Alpha. She's lying. My sister's still here." He looks at me for a few seconds before giving me a slight nod and turning his attention back to Alpha Roland.

"Roland it seems we are stuck in an awkward situation here." Thank fuck he believes me and has my back in this.

"It does but I can assure you that Hailey is speaking the truth."

"After the lies, you told me about Ashley and his father being traders I'm sure you can understand my reluctance to believe you right now!" Cal slightly growls out the words causing Alpha Roland to take a step back. "You believe that gay lord over me a Beta female? Are you frigging kidding me?" My mom scratches out the words with so much force that I swear her foundation cracks. Upon hearing her comment Jack takes a step closer to her while his body starts to shake and I have to grab his hand and pull him back to me to get his attention. "Don't let her get to you baby she's not worth it," I whisper in his ear.

"No one calls my mate that. No one!" He growls out. Before I can say anymore a faint noise distracts me. I turn my head to face back towards the front of the packhouse and see my mother with her back now towards us and whisper yelling but I can't understand a word she's saying. I feel the hairs stand up on the back of my neck and a strange feeling overcomes me but I can't put my finger on what it is. The faint noise that distracted me just moments ago suddenly comes back and I'm pretty sure I know what the noise is or should I say who it is.

"Kelly?" I call out loudly but no one makes a sound, however, my mother instantly stiffens up before quickly trying to relax but she's too slow to hide it from me. "Kelly it's Ashley. If you are there answer me, baby. Dont be afraid I won't let anyone hurt you."

I feel movement to the side of me and then Jack's hand is gently pulling on my arm bringing my attention to him. "Are you sure darling?"

"I'm sure babe, my sister is here and I have a feeling she's right behind my mother." He nods then shares a look with Calvin that I can't figure out. I look over to Calvin as I see him take a few steps toward Alpha Roland and my mother. I put my attention back on my mother and she's now facing us but I can see her hands are behind her back keeping my suspicions raised.

"Hailey, can you move to the side to allow me to see behind you please?" Calvin's tone is firm but friendly but my mother doesn't move an inch, in fact, she just completely blanks Calvin altogether. "Hailey!" He raises his voice a little but again she ignores him. "Alpha Roland is this how you allow your pack members to treat fellow Alphas?" He's now sounding pissed and I dont blame him.

"Of course not Alpha Calvin. Hailey do as you are told!" She gives him a shitty look before slowly moving to the side. There's no one standing there but I saw it. She thinks that everyone missed it but I didn't! "Kelly baby it's ok you can answer me. I dont know what mom has said to scare you but I promise no one will hurt you. We are here to help you!"

"There's no one there Ash." Jack looks at me with a sad smile. He clearly didn't see what I did. "Baby when my mom moved over I saw another set of legs briefly move behind her at the same time." I quickly link him before closing the link and talking quick steps until im directly in front of my bitch of a birth giver and ready to take her down if I need to.

"What are you doing?" I stare straight into her evil eyes as I slowly make my way up the steps and closer to her. "Stop now!" She screeches out but I dont listen to her, nor do I blink as I continue to stare at her and watch the panic flash across her eyes. A sharp pain in my upper arm stops me in my tracks. I look to my right to see one of their pack warriors gripping my harm roughly and instantly I recognize him as Wayne.

"Step away from Beta Hailey." He's got a stern disgusted look on his face and to think that we used to be friends. What a joke! Wayne how times have changed huh? Now can you be a doll and let my arm go or I'm going to put you on your ass and you won't get back up!" I lowly growl the words out to him and don't miss the slight shake that takes over his body. We used to train together regularly and he knows what I'm capable of. Before he can say a word or move a step a hand clamps down on his and his face instantly pales at the force of Jack's grip on him.

"You have been asked nicely to remove your hand from my mate's arm. Now I'm telling you to remove it or I will break it and you!" He growls out the words loudly and I instantly feel Wayne's hand release my arm. Jack pushes him back away from me before coming to stand next to me. "Now mother dearest move aside and give me my sister." She shakes her head as I take another step closer to her. She tells me to stop again but I dont listen. We both know that once I get close enough I'll be able to pick up the scent of my sister. "Stop now!" She shouts out but still, I ignore her. "Roland do something, stop this!" She screeches out to him.
