The sound of loud snarls and growls breaking out pulls my attention away from what's happening with Alpha Colton and Britney. I look toward the forest and the deafening growls bounce off of the forest walls giving me a sinking feeling deep down in my stomach and having Taz quickly become alert.

Suddenly I see wolves pile through the forest at lightning speed. They are heading our way and looking seriously pissed and seriously ready to kill. Fuck here we go!

"Who are you?" Cal shouts out. I keep my focus on the herd of wolves that are heading our way as he speaks but I don't see any of them stop or even slow down.

"Who are you? What do you want?" Cal bellows out. I still haven't taken my eyes off the wolves heading our way but thankfully I soon see one wolf that's at the front stop and every one of them stops straight away.

The wolf at the front of the herd shifts into his human form while another two of the wolves follow him in shifting and come to stand on either side of him."Who are you?" He bellows out. I try and concentrate on his looks but I can't place him from anywhere. I haven't got a fucking clue who this guy is.

"I'm Alpha Calvin of the claw moon pack. Who. Are. You?" He shouts back, every word loud and clear. You would never think that there are all these wolves here with how very quiet it is right now.

"I'm here to support Hailey. I'm here to end your worthless ass and claim your lands. It will make a nice change to have a packhouse rather than sleeping in the forest!" He shouts back with a smug cocky look on his face that I would happily smack off right now.

"Why are you helping Hailey?" Cal doesn't even bat an eyelid at the comments that this knob has just made instead he just ignores it and carries on. "Wait before you say anything let me guess. She said that we have kidnapped her daughter. That we are a danger to her daughter and that her son is the one that personally took her and that he also threatened to hurt Hailey herself?"

The wolf looks shocked for a moment before he quickly tries to hide it but I see it and I know that Liam did too with how he's tilting his head. It's something he does when he's curious about someone's reaction.

"Yes, she did. How can you be ok with a member of your pack doing that? How can you stand by and support him? Hell, we are Rogues and we would never do that!" He bellows back looking as pissed as Ashley does when I have to wake him up early. My baby isn't a morning person.

"She lying. She also had Alpha Colton here to help her but he knows the truth now and is refusing to help her."

"Lies! Next, your gonna tell me that it's not true, That she sold her daughter and you rescued her when we all know that it's lies!" His voice is rising the more he speaks, and I'm pretty sure that he's going to shift at any moment.

Now if this was the case and if someone in our pack had stolen a little girl from her mom then I would have nothing but respect for this guy is trying to help return her to her mother the same as Alpha Colton but this dude isn't even going to listen to our side of things, he's going to jump in with both feet.

"She's covered her base with him and made it look like the truth is lies. I didn't think she'd be that smart!" Liam chimes out.

"She's a scheming bitch and could honestly bullshit her way out of a paper bag." Ashley snorts.

"Either way this guy's ignorance is starting to piss me off!" I grunt out as I rub the back of my neck in frustration.

"He's not going to back down, she made sure that won't happen. We'll stand with you and both of our packs will take them and her down together!" Alpha Colton quickly speaks as he holds a still confused-looking Britney close to his chest.

"We can do this the easy way or the hard way but I assure you that if you pick the hard way you are going to regret it, you and every single member of your pack!" Cal bellows out as he starts to lose the calm that he's been holding on to. To be honest, if it was me I would have already lost my shit!

"That sounds like a threat Alpha Calvin!"

"No no, It's not a threat, it's a promise!" I keep my eyes on the prick who's got a death wish and watch as he loses all control and starts to shift. The two wolves next to him quickly follow suit and once they are all in their wolf foam the prick wolf lets out a loud howl and suddenly every single one of them comes our way.

"let's do this!" Cal bellows out and jumps in the air just seconds before he lands on all four paws and his wolf makes an appearance. Liam, Ashley, and I quickly do the same and within seconds the air is back to being filled with howls and growls as we take a stand and get ready to whip some ass!

Shit is about the hit the fan and I'm more than ready to tear shit apart. I catch movement to the right of me and see Alpha Colton and Britney shift into their wolves and every member of both packs looks ready to defend, ready to kill if needs be.

I never like taking another wolfs life and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one here that feels that way but I will do whatever I need to do to protect my sister, my family, and my pack. If that means killing these assholes then so be it.

We wait for the signal off Cal to move forward as we watch them continue to head our way. Cal lets out an ear-piercing growl and takes the first step forward and we all haul our asses behind him as quickly as possible.

Within seconds of us moving, we are thrown into a full-blown war, a war that didn't even need to happen. I send a silent prayer up to the moon goddess asking her to keep my family and pack safe and run for the wolf that's heading for me with evil in his eyes.

As soon as he's within reaching distance he moves to my left but I already knew he would do that so I move to my right and push into his side sending him flying across the forest ground.

He gets back up and runs for me again but before he can reach me another wolf runs at him catching him off guard and biting down on his throat before tearing it out. I look at the wolf who has done it and quickly recognize Liam. He gives me a nod that I quickly return before he shoots off after another wolf.

I turn around to see Britney's wolf being pinned down on the ground by a big-ass wolf that I'm pretty sure is the prick that's leading the ignorant army. I don't waste any time thinking about it instead I head their way and manage to ram him enough to get him off her long enough for her to get up.

The two of us face off with him and I find myself praying that we will get out of this alive. This wolf is twice the size of us and build like a fucking bull. I know I'm smaller than your average Gamma but my wolf is still pretty impressive and yet I ain't got shit on this big-balled bastard!

He digs his paws into the ground and lets out a deep angry growl. His head goes side to side as he looks between Britney and me and I swear I see him hold a smirk. Fuck this prick thinks that it's a done deal and that he's going to end us.
