"Alpha Colton, I appreciate all the help that you have given us today and I want you to know that it won't be forgotten. If you ever need anything please get in touch. I think that there's a good chance that Ashley is right and I need to get my men back to the pack house asap to be on the safe side so this is where we part ways." Cal's tone is rushed but still friendly and grateful.

"I'm sorry Alpha Calvin but that won't be happening, we won't be parting ways here." Alpha Colton has a serious look on his face leaving me and everyone around me confused by his words.

"I don't understand, why not?" Cal asks with a slight look of frustration.

"It won't be happening because we will be coming with you. We will fight at your side for as long as it takes. I can't walk away from this situation not knowing if this little girl is safe or not. Any of my members that don't wish to carry on are welcome to head back with no hard feelings but for those willing, we will follow you."

Wow, I wasn't expecting this from him. He had no reason to help us in the fight earlier but he did, and now he's going one step further, and I'm fucking grateful. I know that the bitch has left on her own but I don't trust that she's stayed that way.

For all we know she has another pack hiding somewhere to help her. Fuck for all we know she could have had it planned this way from the very beginning. Shit, why didn't I think of that? I wouldn't put anything past her including this.

"Alpha Colton, you and I are going to become great friends!" Cal chimes out.

"I agree Alpha, Colton. Any members of my pack that don't wish to fight further may head back home with no hard feelings, for those of you willing to fight we will follow Alpha Calvin's word unless I tell you otherwise. Anyone wishing to leave is to do so now." Alpha Colton bellows out across the forest.

No one leaves, not one single person, and fuck it's great to see. I'd love to know the story behind Alpha Colton being a Rogue and his pack members for that matter because usually it's known that Rogues are filthy vile creatures who don't care for anyone but their selves but these Rogues are more decent than a lot of pack members that I've meet and I've got a feeling that there's more to them than meets the eye.

"Ok let's all head out. Everyone keep your eyes peeled for Hailey or anyone looking suspicious!" Cal bellows out as he starts to head back home with Alpha Colton by his side as he walks proudly holding Britney's hand.

Thankfully the fight didn't go far from the pack house and we quickly make it onto the pack lands. Although there's also a bad side to where the fight was, the trees lead back onto the parklands, and because of where they are there's a chance that she could find a gap where there's no guard and walk straight into the packhouse.

Soon the pack house is in sight, I'm scanning my surroundings so fast that my eyeballs are aching but still, I can't find her. I know she's here, she's a fucking devious bitch and she wouldn't miss an opportunity to get what she wants, I just pray she hasn't got her hands on my sister yet.

"Ashley, take Jack and a few of the warriors straight to the safe room while we start checking everywhere else." Cal talks quickly as he comes to my side. I nod my head agreeing with him as Jack jumps straight into the action.

"Leo, Kyle, Warren, and Terance you're with us." They all nod and fall into line behind Jack and me as we separate from the group and head for the main doors of the pack house.

"I've just checked in with all the guards on duty and none of them have seen Haileyy so hopefully that's a good thing" Cal's link chimes in my head giving me some relief but not enough. I won't have full relief until I've got Kelly by my side.

We come up to the main entrance of the packhouse and Jack steps in front of me with the warriors following behind me. I want to be first in line but I know that my mate won't stand for it and this isn't the time for a discussion, we just need to get to the safe room, and if that means Jack leading then so be it.

We quietly enter the pack house keeping our eyes peeled and our ears open but straight away we're only met with silence. We keep moving towards the kitchen, there's a door at the back of it that leads to the safe room.

We check every room that we pass but so far no luck. As we get about halfway to the kitchen low chatter echoes in my ears and Liam stops moving and then turns to face me. "You guys hear that?" We all nod "Let's head towards it. Be on your guard!" We all nod again and start moving forward again.

The closer we get to the kitchen the louder the chatter becomes. We all stop dead in our tracks when Eli one of the pack children runs towards us laughing as his older brother Cole chases him. "Hi Gamma's Jack and Ashley." They both chime out as they run right past us.

"What the fuck? They are supposed to be in the safe room?" I whisper out in shock and also so they don't hear me swear. Jack goes to call out to them but they are already out of sight. His eyes glaze over and I wait for him to finish mind-linking.

"Alpha didn't give the ok for anyone to leave the safe room. He's heading this way now with his dad and some more warriors," He grunts out.

"I didn't think he did, Hailey can't be trusted around anyone so there's no way he's allowed the most vulnerable out yet." He nods agreeing with me. "Should we wait for him or keep moving?"

"He said it's our call and I think we should keep moving. They may be out for some reason but that doesn't mean that Kelly is out of danger yet or that Hailey isn't here." I'm glad he's thinking the same as me because I don't think I can stand waiting here for a minute longer.

We start moving forward again still keeping our guard up as the sounds of the women and children talking becomes louder and clearer. It sounds like they are in the kitchen so we head for there.

We stop when we get to the kitchen door and the scene before us both shocks and confuses us all. The women, children, and elderly are all out of the safe room and acting like everything is fine. Some of them are cooking while others are hanging out at the tables chatting and laughing among themselves.

"What the hell is going on here?" Cal's pissed voice makes me jump. I didn't even hear them coming up behind us never mind he coming to stand beside me.

"I haven't got a fucking clue but I don't like it!" Jack grunts back. Cal steps into the kitchen with us all following closely behind and all the women stop what they are doing the moment they see us.

"Mom, why are you all out of the safe room?" I can tell he's trying to soften his tone when he speaks to Luna Lucy but it's still clear to hear that he's pissed.

"We were told we could come out son." She wipes her hands on her bright pink apron that's around her waist as she starts walking toward us looking confused. It's clear that she's quickly picked up on the tension coming from the men.

"I didn't give that order. Who told you that you could leave?" He asks as she comes to stand right in front of him.

"Wait is everyone out of the safe room?" I rush out. I don't mean to be rude and interrupt Cal but I'm looking around the room and I can't see Kelly anywhere and I'm getting a sick feeling deep in my stomach.

Cal turns to face me but he doesn't look pissed at my disrespect. "I'm sorry for the disrespect Alpha Calvin but I can't see Kelly here?" He instantly looks panicked and turns back to face the room and I know he's now looking for her.

"Kelly is fine Ashley don't worry!" Luna Lucy quickly gets out and my body instantly sags with relief however Cal doesn't seem to relax at all if anything he seems to get tenser.

"Mom who said you could come out and where is Kelly?"

"The new warrior. He came here about 30 minutes ago and said it was ok to come out now. He said that everything was ok now and that you were all heading back. He also said to wait in the kitchen for you to return so we thought we would start dinner."

"What new warrior mom and where is Kelly?" I haven't heard about any new warriors and the sick feeling that I had in my stomach earlier is now coming back with force.

"The young boy oh what is his name?" She asks herself the question. "Oh bother I can't remember his name now... wait Gamma Ashley he's the one that's from your old pack, your friend?" She looks to me for an answer and as soon as I realize who she's talking about my body instantly runs cold.

"Do you mean Coby, Luna Lucy?"

"Yes, that's him!" Her face lights up at my answer but mine doesn't. My instinct is telling me that something is seriously wrong.

"Luna Lucy, where is Kelly?" I ask scared to hear her answer.

"She is nice and safe with Coby, Gamma Ashley."

"Wait what?" The words fly out of my mouth as panic invades my body.

"When he came to say that we could come out of the safe room he also said that you had linked him and asked him to take Kelly up to her room and keep her there safe until you returned."

"I don't understand this?" Jack's words are slow as he seems to be trying to process what he's hearing and I'm right there with him.

"Mom I never give anyone the all-clear and I certainly didn't send Coby in to tell you that you could come out or that he could take Kelly, he's not even a warrior.... fuck!" He turns to look at us and the look on his face reflects exactly what I'm feeling scared, panicked, and ready to fucking kill Coby!

"I want you all back in the safe room now and don't come out until either Gamma Jack, Gamma Ashley, Beta Liam, or I come for you ok? I mean it do not come out for anyone else!" Cal's Alpha tone has surfaced and all the women and children don't hesitate in following his orders and heading back inside the safe room.

Eli and Cole come running past us once their mom calls them and within seconds all the women, children, and elderly are back in the room and safe.

"Let's go find this mother fucker and find out exactly what he's up to, we'll get Kelly back, and then I'm going to tear him apart!" Cal growls. He looks at me and I know he's having a moment of thinking about the fact that Coby is my friend or should I say was.

"He's no friend of mine Alpha Calvin, not anymore. To think that he's taken Kelly and risked the lives of the vulnerable makes me want to tear his fucking heart out!" I growl out the words as my anger builds more and more.

"When we find him, you can do just that Gamma Ashley!" I nod my gratitude to him while Jack takes my hand and gives it a gentle supportive squeeze.
