Things lately have been completely out of control and there was a point where I never thought it was going to end. My son is a fairly new Alpha but I never once doubted him even when he doubted himself.

I know these past few weeks or maybe months, honestly, I've lost count of how long it's been going on, but the time that's passed while everything has been going on has been a hard time for our pack.

Of course, our pack has had its bad times over the years, more than I wish to count or think about if I'm honest but still, we are a very lucky pack, considering how bad things could be we've always done our best to keep out of trouble and work with other packs rather than be enemies. I'd like to think that I was a fair Alpha and that I raised my son to be the same and every day that I watch how he runs the pack and how he treats all the members brings a jolt of pride to my heart.

Since the day that he was born, I've made sure to tell him every single day how much I love him, and even as an adult I still tell him and now that he's an Alpha I also tell him every day that I am proud of the Alpha that he has become but it doesn't matter how much I tell him that I love him or that I am proud of him I dont think he will ever understand how much I mean it. He's one incredible man and I wouldn't change a thing about him or how he runs this pack.

He may be the Alpha but he still comes to me when he's looking for advice and I love that, it's a bond that we share that he doesn't with anyone else. I may have been ready to retire as Alpha of the pack but I'll always be here with advice when he needs it plus my wife Lucy is still standing in as Luna of the pack until my son meets his mate and goddess I hope that he finds her soon.

Being Alpha feels incredible but there is no matter feeling than meeting your mate and having children, I just wish that we could have had more than one but that's on me and something that I live with every day. I told lucy to leave me so that she could find someone else who could give her more kids but she wouldn't hear any of it and stuck by my side. If that's not true love then I dont know what is.

Yesterday we had the meeting with all of the pack members that were involved in the witch attack and I was both surprised and proud of how well the pack members took the news that they would be having their memories wiped by a witch so that they could forget the attack altogether.

"Are you ready Gamma Jack?" Edwina's words pull my attention back into the room as Jack lays down on the couch that's in Calvin's office ready for his turn at having his memories wiped. Almost everyone has been done and now it's down to Jack, Ashley, Liam, and Calvin, and even though it's all gone smoothly so far I still find myself nervous.

Rosemary, Joey, and Jackie are in the room. Rosemary to ensure that Edwina is only doing a memory-erasing spell and Joey and Jackie for backup if needed. Edwina wasn't too impressed when Jackie shifted into her wolf and sat right next to the couch but it's tuff. We are putting a shit load of trust into her right now, and having wolves in both human and wolf form helps to ease our worries so she will just have to put up with it.

After we found out that she wanted to cast the spell I had an old friend of mine look into her. I know that Rosemary, Zack, and Kat vouched for her but still, I had to be sure, and thankfully my friend couldn't find anything that seemed out of place. Even so, I'm still standing here praying that everything will be ok and I know that my wife is doing the same.

And to be honest, I think Edwina knows that it's not worth the risk of her life to try anything stupid here, she knows that I will destroy her if she steps even an inch out of line with any of the pack members but even more so if she touches any of my boys.

Calvin may be the only son born to me but Liam and Jack have been in my life since the day that they were born. The three of them have been best friends since they could walk and after my best friend and his mate died leaving Jack an orphan I have made sure to step into the dad role for him, I've never tried to take his dads place but just been there whenever he needs me.

And now we have been blessed with another son Ashley. He hasn't been with us long but already both Lucy and I love him just as much as the other boys, unfortunately, he recently lost his dad so I will be there for him like I am for Jack and that includes destroying anyone who tries to cause him any harm. I won't stand for it!

"I swear to everything you love, if you hurt even a hair on my mate's head, I will rip you a new asshole!" I bark out a laugh before I can control it along with Liam and Calvin as Ashley threatens Edwina.

"I won't do anything to harm him, Gamma Ashley." Edwina gives him a gentle smile while she talks to him but Ashley isn't listening.

"Can you please stand back so I can have some room?"

"Pfft, no chance I am staying by his side until this is done and it's not up for discussion!" He throws back at her. She quickly realizes she's not going to win and leaves Ashley where he is while she starts the spell.

Jack's eyes close and just minutes later they are back open and he sits up.

"What's going on guys?" He looks confused as he looks around the room but after a quick chat with him, it's clear to see that it went well, and aside from the witch attack his memory is fine. After each wolf has had the spell cast on them we have asked them questions to make sure that they are ok.

As well as the witch attack Edwina has erased all memories of any talk about the attack and they all now believe that she is just another visitor along with Rosemary and as much as I hate that some of us will always have to keep the secret from them we know it's for the best and that's why we are willing to do it.

"Why don't you go and run us a bath baby and I'll be up soon to join you? I just want to have a quick chat with Cal before I come up." Ashley needs to get Jack out of the room so he can have his turn.

"Why, what's wrong baby?"

"Nothing's wrong baby boy, however, there is a certain birthday coming up soon and I just want to run something past the Alpha." He's not wrong it's Jack's birthday in 2 weeks and this excuse is a good one for getting Jack out of here and it works as Jack gives him a quick kiss and waves us all goodbye as he leaves the room.

"Your gonna have to come up good for his birthday now Ash." Liam laughs as Ashley lays down on the sofa.

"I dont know why your laughing brown eyes, you'll be helping me and dont think I've forgotten about our date night either Mr!" Liam chuckles out smiling wide as well as Cal. "I will help you and of course, I haven't forgotten beautiful I will pay my debt dont worry."

Ashley closes his eyes and soon his turn is over. After he's up and been questioned he heads up to meet Jack while Liam gets ready for his turn. 10 minutes later and everyone has had the spell cased on them and they are all ok and so far it's pretty clear that no harm has come of it and Edwina has offered to stay here for a few days to make sure that everyone is ok.

I hope this is the end of this witch business because witches are not the ones to mess with granted we are wolves and can hold our own against almost anyone but witches are on a whole other level. Now dont get me wrong I have known a few good witches in my time and have had to work with one before but bad witches and black magic are a whole different game.
