Gamma Ashley

The moment I see the blood on the forest floor my fucking heart feels like it's going to stop beating at any moment. There's not a lot of blood there but the idea of my baby sister bleeding in any way is just unacceptable!

"Ok guys let's look around for any more clues or blood. Don't go too far out without checking in with me or Gamma Ashley first." Jack's straight into action even if it's clear to see that this has knocked him to.

"We are going to find her Ash." He gives me a firm no-nonsense look but I'm struggling here. hell, Jack was the one freaking out not even 5 minutes ago and now it's completely flipped and I'm the one having a meltdown.

"Jack there's blood. BLOOD!" The moment I realize that I'm yelling I close my eyes and take a deep breath. I'm slowly losing my shit but the last thing I want to do is to take it out on Jack. "I'm sorry baby, I don't mean to shout at you."

While one part of me wants to tear everything to pieces the other part of me wants to curl up in a ball and cry. Jack steps up close to me and pulls me in close to him running his hands up and down my arms.

"You have nothing to be sorry for darling. We're going to find her, we are going to find them both and they are going to be fine, there's nothing else to say on the matter." He stares into my eyes and the look of determination helps to somewhat ease the mayhem of emotions that are running through my body. I give him a firm nod as I get my head back in the game and we restart our search.

Within 10 minutes we find another hair clip, a bobble, and a few odd footprints all leading toward the north side of the forest. I linked Cal to update him and we are staying put while Cal, Liam, and some of the warriors head our way. Once they arrive and we talk through things, we decide to keep going the way the trail appears to be leading together as one large group.

"Gamma Jack, we've found a shoe towards the east side and I'm sure I saw kelly wearing it this morning." Warrior Toby's mind link comes in loud and quickly. Excitement runs through my body at someone actually finding another clue.

"What color is it?"

"Black Gamma with sparkles on the side."

"That's hers. We are on our way!" I quickly fill everyone in and with our wolf speed, it takes just minutes for us to reach the spot and instantly I spot her shoe. "That's Kellys," Jack whispers while his eyes travel around our surroundings.

"Gamma Ashley we have found a shoe over to the north side and Warren has confirmed that it's Kellys." Warrior Smith's mind link suddenly sends me into a tailspin.

"Jack," I call out to him and the moment he sees my face he rushes straight toward me.

"What's wrong, baby?"

"Warrior Smith has just linked me to tell me that he's found Kelly's shoe and that Warren has confirmed that it is hers."

"Oookay?" His confused look matches how I'm feeling on the inside as my mind runs through so many scenarios.

"It's over towards the north side Jack,"

He looks at me completely confused but I don't miss the moment that he realizes what I'm thinking and anger covers his face.

"They're playing us!" He shouts out gaining Cal and Liam's attention and they instantly run over to us.

"What's going on guys?" Cal wastes no time in getting down to business.

"Smith just found a shoe that Warren has confirmed is Kelly's. It's towards the north side Alpha."

"Wait the north side... but this shoe is leading to the east... and the clips and bobble were heading towards the south... fuck they are leaving false trails!" He growls out the words getting angrier as he works out what's going on.

"That's what I'm thinking," I grunt out. I'm so annoyed that we've been falling for their trap.

"Ok so it looks like they are leading us on wild fucking goose chases to the north, east, and south.... wait we didn't find anything to the west of the forest did we?" Liam asks.

"No, nothing!" Cal grunts out.

"Fuck!" Jack, Liam, Cal, and I all shout out at the same time. "They have had us on this fucking goose chase all this time and left their actual location wide open, are you fucking kidding me!" I bellow out. I feel like a complete and utter fool!

"Ok, we are going to head to the west side where my group started searching and we'll make a plan there, Beta Liam and I will lead. Everyone is to keep up and stay alert just in case we miss something along the way. I wouldn't put it past those bastards to have another plan up their sleeves.

Everyone nods and quickly swings into action and I couldn't be any more grateful.

Kelly

I don't know where I am but I'm scared. This room is dark and smells funny and I don't like it, I want to go home. I feel sleepy but I don't want to go to sleep just in case the bad man comes back again.

I'm sitting in an uncomfortable chair and my hands and legs are tied to it with some kind of rope and it hurts. I tried to pull my arms out of the rope but I couldn't, I'm not strong enough. I wish I was big and strong like my dad and brother or like Jack but I'm not and I hate it.

My daddy is here like Coby said he would be but he's laying in the corner sleeping and I can't wake him up. I think he's hurt and I wish he would just wake up.

"Daddy... daddy please wake up!" I think I hear a noise coming from his side of the room but I can't be sure so I call out to him again. "Daddy, are you awake?"

"Princess, is that you?" He sounds strange, not like his normal happy self but maybe the bad man that tied me to this chair hurt him too.

"Daddy I'm scared!" I hear him moving but it's so dark in here that I can't see him.

"Don't be scared baby girl, everything's going to be ok!"

"Why are we here daddy?"

"I'm not sure princess. Can you tell me who brought you here?"

"Coby daddy, he said that you told him to come and get me and bring me to you but I knew that he was lying and I tried to get away from him but I couldn't. I ran but he caught me. I wasn't quick enough daddy. I'm sorry."

"You have nothing to be sorry for baby girl, you have done the right thing, you did good." I smile wide at my dad's nice words but then a loud bang rings in my ear and my dad calls out to me.

"Kelly we need to get out of here baby." I hear more movement in the room and I shout out and jump in fright when I feel hands on my shoulders.

"It's dad princess, I got myself loose. Now shall we get you untied and out of here? We still have ice cream to eat remember?"

"Yes please daddy, I don't like it here."

"Me neither baby girl, me neither." Dad reaches for the ropes on my legs but before he can untie them we hear another loud bang, and then my eyes hurt as a massive light is turned on and the whole room glows. I wiggle my eyes a bit and smile when I can see my dad kneeling in front of me.

Only my happiness quickly turns to sadness when I see three giant men standing by the door. They look mean and scary and they are looking straight at my daddy.
