The shock of what it appears that we have just learned is weighing heavy on both of us, of course, it weighs on Jack more but I've quickly fallen in love with Nora, hell the woman makes it hard not to and to think that she could be up to something bad breaks my heart.

There may have only been a couple of signs and they may have been silent signs but still, they screamed loud enough for both Jack and me to hear them and there's no way the two of us saw the same things and yet are wrong.

"Come on baby, let's get back to bed." My mate looks lost and I fucking hate it. He's always the strong one, always the one assuring me that things will be ok, and he's always the one to hold up both up when I'm crumbling but right now... well right now he's completely and utterly lost.

But it's ok because everyone gets lost sometimes but he's not alone in dealing with this by himself, he has me, and now it's my turn to look after him and to hold us both up and that's exactly what I'm going to do

"We need to talk to Cal about Nora. I don't want to... in fact, I hate it but we can't let this slide." He looks heartbroken and I know he feels like he's betraying Nora but he's right we have to speak to Cal.

We need to tell him because if Jack's dream does mean anything then there's a chance that it's connected to this business with my twat of a mother and Cory but more than anything we need to tell him as he's the Alpha to this pack and if there's any potential danger to the pack he needs and wants to be informed.

And aside from anything else, he's one of Jack's best friends and quickly becoming one of mine and I know that I can speak for both Jack and me when I say that we want to tell him as a friend and we both hope that he can help us with this one way or another.

"I know we do baby but it's 5 am, Cal's properly still sleeping and you need to do the same."

He shakes his head while sighing loudly. "I won't be able to sleep now darling."

"Well, then you can just lay down and rest." He shakes his head and starts protesting but I'm not having any of it. "Jack so help me if you dont get that delicious ass of yours into bed right now then you won't be getting any of my ass for a week!"

He looks straight at me his left eyebrow rising resulting in him giving me a sexy as fuck look that gets me instantly hot for him. "Oh is that so mate?" He uses that Gamma tone that he knows makes me crazy but I'm not letting him distract me here.

"Yes, it is, now move your ass mate!" After a couple of seconds of looking at me and realizing that his charm isn't going to win me over this time, he lets out a low chuckle and gives me a swift kiss on the lips.

"Ok fine, you win."

"Let's go!" I take his hand and start pulling him along to our floor.

"You wanna know something?" He asks me as we start walking up the stairs that lead to our floor.

"Always." I stop walking and turn to face him in the middle of the staircase. I'm expecting him to talk about Nora or the situation so I want to give him my full attention and not have him talking to my back.

"It's hot as fuck when you get all bossy on me!" I burst out laughing at his words mainly because that was the last thing I was expecting to hear from him right now.

"Well, I'm glad you find it hot babe but I meant every word, now get your ass in bed, preferably naked so I can enjoy the view."

He laughs out louder this time and I'm glad I can somewhat distract him from the Nora situation, even if it is just for a little while.

He reaches the top of the stairs while I remain rooted to the spot as I get lost in watching his ass and thighs move as he climbs the stairs. I think I may be drooling. Surely it's illegal to have an ass and thighs like that?

"Let's go darling I have a mate to get naked for," He lowly calls down to me while shooting me a wink. Instead of walking up the stairs, I go into an instant run and head for him, he quickly realizes what I'm doing and starts running for our lounge room door that separates our floor from the staircase but I'm quick on his tail. I may be smaller than him but I'm fucking fast!

20 minutes later and we're both back in bed and yes my mate is naked and I'm enjoying the view of his plump ass, of course, he required me to be naked too and that is what lead to us both laying on top of the covers completely ass naked.

The moment we laid down Jack pulled me into his side and we haven't moved since. My head is on his chest and my leg is thrown over his while he gently runs his fingers up and down my back while his other hand is resting on my hip.

Just something as simple as laying here with my mate still feels like more than I could have ever hoped that I would get to experience. Even though I'm only 18 I've always had a fear that I would be one of the rare wolves that wouldn't get to find his mate.

But not only have I found my mate I've also found the most incredible mate that anyone could wish for and I will spend every day of my life making sure that he knows just how much I love him.

"What are you thinking about darling?" He asks bringing me back to reality.

I tilt my head up so I can see his beautiful eyes as he looks down at me. " About how lucky I am to have met you. About how much I love you."

He smiles his own beautiful smile before leaning down and placing the sweetest of kisses on my lips then pulling back up, his eyes while he stares at me are filled with love and want and it makes my heart skip a beat.

I’d always heard the stories about the feeling of having a mate but I honestly don’t think anyone loves their mate as much as I love mine.

“I’m the lucky one darling, after I lost my parents I always felt like something was missing. Of course, everyone here at the pack made sure I was looked after and I’ve never been short of love but still, I always felt like a piece of me was missing. I always assumed that it was because my parents were gone but the moment that I first laid my eyes on you I instantly felt that gap close up. It was you, Ashley, you were what was missing from my life. You are my future and my family and I don’t ever want to be without you ever again.”

His words hit my heart hard and I swear I have to hold back the tears. "You won’t ever be without me, baby," He gives me another kiss but when he pulls back this time he has a strange look on his face. "What’s wrong baby?"

"Nothings wrong baby I was just thinking…"

"About what?"

"Our future."

"What about it babe?"

"About… hmmm…"

"Baby whatever it is you can tell me you know that."

"I was just thinking… thinking about children" Well that I wasn’t expecting but he’s instantly got my attention. I slowly sit up turning so that I’m facing hun and taking his hands in mine.

"Ok, what about them?"

"Do you want them?" I swear he holds his breath after asking the question.

“I’d love kids baby… do you want them?” As soon as I answer I see him release a little breath but I’m not sure why.

“I do, I want them more than anything!”

“Well thank fuck for that Baby! Why did you get so nervous when asking me?

“I don’t know… I guess I was worried that you wouldn’t want them. Of course, if you didn’t then I wouldn’t force you, I’d give up my dream if you had wanted me to but fuck am I glad you want them to!”

“Oh, I do, I'm just not sure how we will get what we want.”

“Don’t worry baby one day we will have kids and I’ll make you my husband, we’ll have it all!” He sounds so certain and determined that he manages to wash away my concerns in seconds and fuck do I love him for that.

I don’t say anymore because no more words are needed instead I throw myself at him and attack his lips like their my last meal. He grabs my hips and pulls me on top of him. We pull apart when we both need to take a breath but our lips soon meet again only this time it’s much more slower and passionate and fucking perfect.

A knock on the door stops our mind-blowing kiss and a huff leaves me before I can stop it. “Jack, Ash you guys awake?” I love Liam to bits but his timing is shit.

“Yeah come in,” Jack calls out with a laugh while I pout at him.

“Oh, sorry guys not disturbing anything am I?” Liam asks but the smirk on his face makes it clear he knows what he’s interrupting.

“Well, I’m about to let my mate ravish me but other than that no. Did you come to watch?”

Both Jack and Liam burst out laughing while I try to keep a straight face, Alfie however is laughing so hard inside my head that I swear I’m going to have a headache.

“Now why would you go and make me jealous like that Ash? I thought you loved me!”

“Oh, I do baby boy don’t worry,” I blow him a kiss that he pretends to catch while Jack smacks my ass causing me to squeak like a fucking mouse.

“I can’t deal with you too! Anyway, Cal wants to see us in his office so get dressed and I’ll be in the lounge waiting for you. No hanky Panky or you'll have a jealous Liam on your ass!” He smirks while pointing at us.

“Liam on my ass… mmm”

“Get out Liam!” Jack tries to act mad but he fails miserably while Liam chuckles to himself as he leaves the room.

"We’d better get dressed but your gonna pay for that comment later mate."

“Oh, I look forward to it mate.” He slaps my ass again before we finally get up and make quick work of getting dressed.

A few minutes later we're all outside Cal's office but before we step inside the sound of his angry voice reaches our ears.

“What the fuck had happened now?” Liam grunts before opening the door and stepping inside with Jack and me right behind him.

“Cal, what’s wrong?” He looks up from his desk as he slams down his phone and looks directly at me.
