These past 4 weeks have been calm and quiet and worrying. We've spent so much time lately on guard and in battles that as much as the quiet time is much welcomed and enjoyed I still can't completely rest. It's been almost 4 weeks since Kelly left here with Joey and Jackie and not one person in the pack knows where they are, we choose not to know the name of the pack to give Kelly extra safety. It's been hard without her both Ashley and I are missing her so much that it's painful and I'd be lying if I said that we haven't shared some tears over her but we both know it's for the best right now and look forward to the day that we can get her back here with us where she belongs. It's been weeks since we last heard from Hailey but we all know that it won't last forever. She'll be back and we'll be ready.

Edwina, Rosemary, Zack, Kat, Jane, and Lacey all headed back to Rosemary's pack 2 weeks ago. They had decided to come and visit for a couple of weeks as they were all missing the pack and in all honestly, we have missed them.

For me personally, I was missing little Jane more than anyone, she's a beautiful little girl and I love the bones of her, and between both her and Kelly being gone now I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm feeling a little lost. It was my first time meeting Rosemary and I have to say the woman is a hoot. Edwina is a close friend of hers and wanted to come along to visit and she seemed nice enough.

Jane has come such a long way since she left here and it's incredible to see but Rosemary still has some more work to do with her so they have headed back with her but left with a promise that they will be returning as soon as they can and apparently Rosemary will be coming with them to live here. I don't know if she was joking or not but we'll just have to wait and see, I think Rosemary is great so I wouldn't complain if she was to live here.

Unfortunately, we couldn't trace Lacey's family but Rosemary could sense something in her and was worried that it was along the lines of black magic so offered to take her home with her and both look after her and help her while the search for her family continues.

Nora was sad to see her go but she understood why it needed to happen and after she made sure Lacey knew that she always had a home with Nora she cried for 3 days straight but thankfully she's doing much better now. However, I feel like shit that I doubted her in any way and so does Ashley.

After Lacey left we sat Nora down and told her everything and as always she was her usual Nora self and wasn't mad or didn't judge us. In fact, she was very understanding and forgive us and things remain as normal with her loving on both of me and Ashley.

Ryder took a group of wolves to go and get Jake's mom and sister out of their pack and managed to do it without any sort of fight breaking out. The day they arrived there Jake spotted his mom and sister leaving the pack and our guys made quick work of grabbing them as soon as the opportunity arose.

Once they saw Jake and found out that the guys were rescuing them they were more than happy to go with them. They have been here almost 3 weeks now and are still being treated as guests while being monitored but I'm pretty sure that Cal is going to offer them all a place here.

The elders are still investigating the child tracking that we uncovered and I know that some wolves have already been taken into their custody and I'm hopeful that they will get all of them and shut down the whole fucking thing. I try not to think about it too much as it just makes me angry and want to smash everything in sight and I know I'm not alone in that.

Coby's fate was decided however, due to the unexpected mating of him and Luke, it was decided that he would get a second chance and Cal offered him a place here with Luke. I'm glad that he and Luke found each other, I know that it's been a hard start for them with Coby only just losing his first mate but I've seen them together and Luke is insanely patient with him. They will be fine I just know it.

At 7 pm on the dot, I arrive at the door to the packhouse to find Liam, Cal, Jack, Ryder and several other warriors all dressed up and ready to head out, I guess word spread quickly not that I mind, the more the merrier as far as I'm concerned.

I had a few things to get done today and ended up running a little late but still managed to get here on time even if I did miss out on the several beers that they have drunk beforehand. not to worry I'm sure I'll make up for it.
