Well, fuck a duck I never saw this coming. One moment we are ready for war and the next we have a Rogue Alpha declaring that the brilliant Britney is his mate. What the fuck?

"Britney. A beautiful name for a beautiful woman." He may have only known her for about 30 seconds but already I swear I can see love hearts in his eyes and it's cute as fuck.

"This can't be real," She whispers as she starts to look around in shock.

"As much as this is lovely to see and all that I have a daughter to get back and now!" My bitch of a mother shouts out

"You ain't getting her bitch!" Britney bellows out at my mom. Both Jack and I try to cover our laughs with a cough but I don't think it worked.

"Who hell are you bitch?" Mom shouts back and I swear if looks could kill my mom would drop dead this second with the look that Alpha Colton gives her.

"Don't you dare speak to my mate like that again!" He shouts at my mom and I swear I see a nervous shiver run through her body. Good, I hope she's fucking scared.

"My queen, what do you know about this matter?" His focus is now on Britney much to the dislike of my mother.

"Alpha I've-"

"It's Colton baby." Cal, Liam Jack, and I move to surround Britney. I don't trust my mother. Britney smiles at Alpha Colton before she takes a deep breath.

"Colton I've heard what's going on from more than one person here but also I've personally spoken with this little girl and she give me the same story and there's no way that she was lying either. Her mom sold her. Alpha Calvin, beta Liam, Gamma's Jack and Ashley, and several of their warriors went to get her before she could be taken. They managed to get there just before her buyer and just after Ashley got her in the SUV he tuned up but they managed to get her away before she could be taken."

"Jesus Christ. Hailey, what do you have to say for yourself?" She looks shocked and pale and ready to run.

"Colton, Gamma Jack's mate Ashley is the son that Hailey told you about. Do you know how Jack found him?" He shakes his head no and she proceeds to tell him all about what Hailey had done in turning against him because he's gay and trying to have Ashley killed.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me!" he bellows out while looking at Hailey.

"It's all lies. Their all lying!" She screeches out. Fuck I haven't missed the noises that leave her mouth.

"Are you calling my mate a liar?"

"Yes, I am. She's been around those punch of morans for far too long!" An earth-shattering growl rips through the forest from Alpha Colton and I swear he's about 30 seconds away from killing my mother.

"Insult my mate again and I'll tear your throat out!" He growls out.

"Oh please do. It will make my day!" I chime out before I can stop myself.

"Pfft hahaha." Liam's laugh sets off Jack and has Calvin coughing to cover up his laugh ."I hate your guts you useless piece of flesh!" My mom screeches at me.

"Well, I fucking love you!" Liam shouts over to me right before he starts laughing again.

“Bitch speak to my mate like that one more time and I'll be joining Alpha Colton in tearing you to pieces!" Jack hisses.

I gently run my hand up and down his arm to try and help him calm down. "Ignore her baby she's a sad pathetic excuse for air and she doesn't even deserve any time wasted on her." At hearing me say those words she only gets redder with frustration.

"Answer me something, Hailey. Why would you sell your daughter?" Alpha Colton asks her through gritted teeth causing everyone to become quiet once more.

"I haven't they're lying!" she shouts out and I swear even a stranger to her would know she's lying right now. The bead of sweat across her forehead doesn't help her either.

"I'll only ask once more Hailey and if you value your life I suggest you tell me the truth. Why would you sell your daughter?"

I watch my mother closely and I don't miss the moment that she snaps and her niceness slips away from her, her eyebrows squish up and her fists ball up at her side.

"Because I can! Because I am her mom, I give her life and I can take it away. The same as I can decide to keep her or get rid of her. I never wanted to be a mom and I've done it for long enough. It's time I enjoyed my life now and Kelly is my way to do it!"

The growls snarls and curses that echo across the forest are deafening. "And exactly how much are you selling her for?" Alpha Colton barely gets his words out with how hard he's glitching his teeth.

"That's none of your business!"

"1.5 million dollars and a Luna title isn't that right Hailey?" Cal shouts out.

"Please for the love of goddess please tell me this is all some kind of sick joke?" Alpha cotton looks toward us with a sad pleading look on his face.

"It's lies, all lies!" The bitch shouts out again.

"Alpha Colton. may I suggest something?"

"Go ahead, Alpha Calvin."

"What if I arranged for you to meet Kelly herself? You can speak to her and hear it from her mouth? The only thing I will say is that Hailey won't be allowed to be there. She won't go anywhere near Kelly!" Cal growls out the last part and makes me so fucking happy.

"I think that would be great Alpha, Calvin. I will say I'm pretty sure I believe you in this matter but I don't want to side with you and find out later on that I was wrong and that I didn't help a mother get her daughter back when I had the chance. I hope you can understand that?"

"Of course Alpha Colton. I can respect that. How about we-" Before Cal can finish speaking an earth-shattering growl tears through the trees. I look around but I can't see any wolves growling or any kind of fuss. I look to the others but both Jack and Liam look just as confused as me.

"What the hell was that?" Cal shouts out. Alpha Colton goes to speak but this time he's cut off by another growl only this time it's followed up by more growls. They are smaller than the first two but they also sound like they are coming from more than one wolf.

Everyone around me including Alpha Colton's pack starts to franticly look around with worry. I look to Jack hoping he knows something but he still looks just as lost as me. Fuck!

The growls start to get louder and seem like they are getting closer to us and I suddenly start to get a sinking feeling in my stomach. A large bang brings everyone's attention to the trees to our left and then I see the trees in that area start to move and the noise of heavy footsteps hit my ears.
